I see at least one or two bad to terrible ideas a week. I don't have the political capital, emotional energy, or fucks to give to say something for every bad idea. At best I can prevent the ones that impact me, my team, and my immediate manager.
There's often no reward for the prevention of failure of others.

I don't think it's an apology that's required. Also the 'apologies' I've seen were non-apologies and minimizations, that it wasn't even an ad campaign. This I think largely misses the point.
Their customers it seems largely don't want to drink globohomo beer. The not an ad campaign was a bridge too far.

problem with suburbs is that they don't generate that much economic/tax revenue to support their infrastructure
Is that a problem? I was happy the small town we moved to only provides basic services, police, fire (volunteer), school and plowing in the winter. We've few business and fewer restaruants. Most everyone has a well and septic.
My presumption is that TPTB would find something silly to spend money on given a chance.
That there's a baseline of self reliance is not a 'problem'.

I'm with you on The State Farm Arena and the crazy at universities. Some of the university crazy is the academic equivalent of fake email jobs. I'm kinda wishing for a long deep recession that culls those with a disconnection from the nature of reality.

While I am certainly anti-woke. As a earlier reply suggests the older have quantitatively more 'lived experience'. I'm not sure this is arbitrary, nor is gaining more experience through aging denied anyone except the dead. They say the living have all the privilege. If only the dead had better advocacy groups.
Another not infrequent privilege target is height, at least among men. I've not seen suggestions that the short to median heighted should be given subsidized lifts, though this only makes them appear tall. The height version of stolen valor. It won't grant them the lived experience of being tall. Though dating apps could easily show women more short men. There'd need to be some sort of enforced quota system, women would be required to match and date 4n short men for every n tall man. My suspicion is that because this a privilege deficit that affects men, no one cares. My wife had to show me my height percentile before I accepted I was tall, I'm not NBA tall, or fit, or sporty. The tall in the far right tail of the distribution appear to have more tall privilege than me, do I get an accommodation too? Unless you go too far right and the height is pathological or diagnostic, I don't want that.
'Privilege' to me has always been a bit like dark matter or dark energy, it fills the gaps for people that need an easy explanation of unequal outcomes, where the results of investigating too throughly or deeply would conflict with a preferred orthodoxy.

Maybe it's a protestent thing, ours has a fellowship hour following service every Sunday. There's tea, coffee, pastries, fruit, sandwiches, etc., in the fellowship hall.
There are also bible study groups, and opportunities for volunteering in support of church activities.
Why can't it be a church service and a social occasion? Does anyone linger to chat? Is there a bulletin, worship guide or website that lists upcoming activities? Are there any organized activities for the feast days?
I've only lived in Europe and the US, my experience may not translate.
In terms of our social life, travel, DINK lifestyle, etc. The 2nd had blown-up that. We bought a lager house in the ex-burbs, a used SUV, and my wife became a SAHM then we had number 3 and 4 and briefly entertained the idea of 5, likely would have happened if we were younger. I should add that this coincided with a relocation from a western Europe capitol city to New England.
I think thoughtful competent people should absolutely have as many children as they can manage.

Is the hectoring of foreign governments on behalf of sexual minorities beneficial to US policy objectives anywhere? It doesn't seem to be winning many friends in Africa or Asia either, except for vocal degenerates. I've thought this was signaling for domestic alphabet people and their allies.

There are factions of "Big Eva" who seem to be moving more Left (see the recent "He gets us" commercial in the Super Bowl).
They went with foot washing. I would have preferred the casting out of demons, or over turning tables and driving out the money changers or hypocrisy condemning. They don't get me.

It's not something fundamental about public schools, it's the students.
It's also the curriculum, teachers and administrators.
I would happily send my children to my elementary school too, in 1980, when I started half-day kindergarten.
The reality of school today is very different even in top decile areas than 1980. We've found our high performing public school to be insufficiently academicly rigorous. Our school committee feels more like PR or cheerleaders for the superintendent and faculty, who are products of post-modern education academia.

It seems odd to me to classify following the rules of the benefits / incentive program as 'gaming' . If you follow the rules and have the children, it seems like it's producing the desired outcome.
Doesn't the Hungarian model require marriage beforehand?
I don't think were going to sperm bank and single mother our way out of low fertility. Certainly that would produce negative consequences.

Which variety of child sexual abuse? The sort where two men adopt / foster boys they abuse and sometimes produce pornography with or the sort where homosexual men will invite teen boys that are 'old souls' to pool parties for leering, letchery, drug use, and also sometimes pornography production?
I find both unacceptable. I suspect the latter is more common than the former. I also suspect the latter is more acceptable in the letch community.
How common does conservative media lead people to believe it is? I'm certain there are unreported instances of both occurring this weekend. Given the current year acceptance of alphabetism, isn't it likely there's more of this abuse now than anytime in the last 40 years?
