Because service exports don't have stickers on them. Or are you not using netflix, amazon, windows etc? And also you can just check what tariffs currently are, according to WTO the EU has an average tariff of 5%. (11.3% for agriculture, lower for rest)

This is silly damned if you do and damned if you don't logic. If every possible cases can be used as affirmation for a your claim, you are not reasoning at all, you are using partisan lines to draw conclusions.

They are probably trying to avoid bloating up the model vocabulary
Image tokens should have no impact at all on the vocabulary size. I guess that they are doing the same as other multimodal models (input image is compressed, as you say probably using a VAE, but classically using a pretrained vision transformer), and let the ouput image tokens just be free. No need to quantize anything.

Why should he? If he believes diplomacy with putin to be ineffective, but the trump administration refuses to provide security guarantees, then isn't this the correct response? What other support can he get when "diplomacy" so far involved talks with russia without Ukraine and strongarming them to pay back freely given support?
Also, to me it does not seem like " Trump and Vance didn't think it was the right time to be discussing that", it seems like they were affronted that he dared to disagree.
It was "are bullied girls more likely to be tomboys" and the woman used it to rant against the woke gender agenda.
