To be fair, a hot male physique* is generally thought to imply physical prowess, and something you can work on by improving your physical prowess.
So Git Gud is both possible and instrumentally useful beyond hotness, but a woman who is already in a healthy weight range can do much less, and it's unclear what purpose it would serve beyond attracting men.

Yes. The problem isn't liars, liars will always exist. With healthy scepticism and verification procedures, you can mitigate the damage they do. The problem is that when your culture considers questioning certain claims anathema, you're systemically unable to deal with liars who exploit this.
