Imagine if, like Orks from Warhammer 40k, painting an F1 car a different color made it faster.
But it isn't what happens. In shop there are, say, professional photo cameras in black color and toy children cameras in pink but their color has no bearing on features that make them different.
I want as much phenotypic diversity as possible
Where would you stop?
What about, say, blue, green or purple skin? They are missing. And I want tentacles too.

It looks like that before population movement, only Crimea had solid majority who didn't want to be in Ukraine. Speaking Russian language doesn't necessarily mean being want to be part of Russia, compare Ireland and UK for example.

Single men tend to be, and I can't quite find the right word here, but perhaps evil captures it. By this, I mean they have personality traits that make them a bad person. They are cruel, uncaring, and obviously this way.
How does that square with that men convicted for crimes have about same number of sexual partners that men which were not convicted do?

What do you mean by this? I remember seeing maps "who would be USA president only if women voted", "who would be USA president only if white women voted".
Maybe you meant what white women are more liberal than thier men and nonwhite women are more conservative than their men?

Depends on exact way you define "fighting age". If you define it as 18-27, then it will increase for some years in near future, when people born in 2006-2016 enter service.
Also, Ukraine has noticeably worse fertility that Russia, even if the large portion of that difference is Russia's ethnic minorities. You don't need to have much army -- just more than opponent.
All of this about fuss about Russia's falling TFR is insignificant compared to what difference of having competent generals in army makes.
The real problem for Russia was Ukraine's ongoing effort to reinforce Ukrainian identity, and it looks attacking in 2022 already was too late.
