A short introduction to Liberal Zionist rhetoric, and why they usually just keep quiet.

A day ago a very interesting interview between Krystal Ball and Rep. Adam Smith took place. The topic of contention was Israel.

tl;dr: Openly defending Israel as a jewish ethnostate is OK as a democrat.

The interview starts off cordial enough. Adam establishes himself as the typical neo-liberal everyman who can sympathize with the plight of the downtrodden AND the military industrial complex (What a guy!) whilst Krystal fronts the now typical faux radical left 'not everyone in the DSA is insane, actually. At least I'm not' media personality that goes hard on the issues that pull on the heart strings.

Where things go south unexpectedly is around the 11:30 mark. Krystal compliments Adam on his recent strong voting pattern against aid to Israel, specifically the Thomas Massie amendment, and asks him to explain his thought process and change of heart. Adam waffles on a bit about his opposition to the Netanyahu government, a typical Liberal Zionist talking point, but then suddenly veers off the rails:

So you know if you have a situation where Israel is threatened on all sides and, I know it's like well no it's not saying they don't have right to exist, just they have to let all the Palestinians back in and then effectively the Jews no longer control Israel. Okay.

This is not out of context, this is the argument. Yes, Liberal Zionists are democrats. Yes, they are against the Netanyahu government. Yes, they believe in the concept of Israel as an explicit ethnostate. He believes it is not possible for Palestinians to represent jews in Israel. Two ethnic groups can not coexist. They are definitionally in a zero sum game of survival. That's the establishment democrat Liberal Zionist view for jews in Israel.

Understandably, Krystal catches on to this Neo Nazi Zionist talking point that's somehow found its way into her otherwise progressive liberal leftist studio:

Well, I'm sorry, but don't you like equal rights for all ethnicities? Like, Something that you in theory support as a Democrat?

Adam replies, a little more flustered than before:

Well, well, well, sure, but, but the, the practical result of this is if you say there should be equal rights within Israel, but if Israel allows [equal rights] they cease to exist as a country.

Mein Kamerad... Krystal replies:

No, they cease to exist as a Jewish ethnostate. That's very different from ceasing to exist as a country.

To which Adam retorts:

Oh, come on, come on!

Which is the extent of his argumentation that isn't a soft recital of the many permutations of ethno nationalism argued for on the old /r/AltRight, RIP.

Krystal, to her credit as a host, tries to segue this into something else and asks why the US taxpayer should care about a jewish ethno supremacist project in the middle East, which Mike Huckabee would have been happy to answer. But Adam can't really seek refugee in the Scofield Bible so he doubles down on Neo Nazism Zionism for jews:

We, we, we, we got to, we got to drill down on that. Okay. Okay. All right. They cease to exist as an ethnostate. So basically, Jews would live in Palestine and be governed by the Palestinians, by the Arabs. Okay. And, and maybe that's just what has to happen in the minds of some people, but understand the consequences of it. Understand why Israel was created in the first place. So that the Jews would have some place to go. Okay. And to just blithely say, "Well, yeah, it'll go away and it'll be fine." So that's point.

Well OK.

To all the Adam Smiths of the world. Why is having an ethnostate good for the jews but not anyone else? Why don't jews benefit from diversity in their western style open democratic society like everyone else? Why doesn't the magic freedom dirt in Israel transform your third worlders into engineers and scientists like it allegedly does everywhere else in the west, who would be just as jewish as anyone else in a few years. How is it possible to represent anything the Democrats have represented the world over and then believe this for Israel in the back of your brain?

Adam arrived to this interview ready to earnestly make the point that ethnonationalism is good for jews. He wanted to say this and he did. And I get it. Because he's not wrong. It's just that he believes it's wrong for everyone else. Most Liberal Zionists must understand that this contradiction is impossible to defend, which is probably why they don't talk about it at all. Hell, I'm starting to believe they can't even conceive of it. The Dual Morality is so strong it probably doesn't even register as a contradiction. But to hear it from the horses mouth is flabbergasting.

The hysteria over this flies both ways.

The DOJ has no grounds to take any action against Mamdani as he has only said that he was in active conversation with the legal team over whether or not he could arrest Netanyahu. That can't be illegal, can it? Following that the law apparently says he can't arrest Netanyahu so this is just PR for the lefty base.

That being said, Israel is an apartheid state engaged in terrorism against civilians in large areas that it wants to ethnically cleanse and settle with the genetically correct people. The UN is by their own standards denigrating itself via inaction against such a regime. As is the rest of the world who holds on to the pretense that this is bad under any other circumstance.

To that extent the UN can not act as if their own inadequacies and failures are excusable when they fly in the face of the moral decency felt by free and democratic societies that are fast seeing their electorate turning into single issue voters due to the corruption and crimes committed by zionists and Israel.

Maybe the people of NYC don't want to host the UN if this is what the organization stands for.

And a history teacher stuck dragging lumps through the pages is not, in a sense, a lump himself?

It's hard for men of delusional ego to reach those who have been demoralized or are at the very least exposed to representations, real or fake, of what 'winning' at life is actually like. Which looks less like a middleaged, underpaid academy teacher who views the world through a lens of struggle, duty and sacrifice whilst growing ever fatter in his chair every day with a sexually disinterested ugly wife who believes she settled for him, and more like the frictionless luxury advertised on social media by hot people in Miami.

We're just watching the Gervais Principle on a societal scale where lumps are losers. Tied together through classroom/media established hierarchy rather than an office one.

No one has really managed to piece together the exact chain of causality that molds some of our young folk into lumps. But it's obviously there. Most likely not defined by a single link but a thousand. And if ones younger self spent enough time scrolling on the phone alongside a lump one would probably get there as well.

Tyler Ziegel is one such link. A young man permanently disfigured in a pointless war fighting for interests completely alien to him. That no one to this day can positively articulate. He then suffers through the indignity of begging the failing state he represented in uniform for his pay. Before succumbing to alcohol, drugs and complete despondence. You might only see Tyler once in your scrolling career, but he will stay in your brain forever. His weight impacting every decision you make regarding useless wars in the middle east and some peoples willingness to send you there.

No one except the sociopaths can look Tyler in the eye and tell him he made a good choice for himself, that it was worth it. But only because that's good for the sociopath. If anyone who actually cared for Tyler could send him a message before he deployed it would be to tell him not to. He would have been better off "goonsimping" on his phone.

The clueless might argue that sacrifices are necessary for society, which is undoubtedly true in some sense. But the clueless genuinely cannot fathom why a lump would refuse to sacrifice for a system that doesn't meet his requirements. Pontificating on why is futile. Such is simply the nature of the clueless. He can only balk in indignance at the very premise that the sacrifice has to be worth it for the individual lump. 'That's not how sacrifice works', the clueless says. 'You're not allowed to question the cause. That defeats the purpose of it!'

But modern America is not built on the premise of sacrifice, but luxurious individuality. That's the American dream. The sociopaths get this, the lumps get this, the clueless don't.

I'm sure we can all appreciate the real world difference between the Russian owned coal mining outpost of Barentsburg, hosting a population of ~300 that operates on Norwegian land, and Palestine.

Or appreciate that refugees from the Israeli Palestine conflict are not the same as Palestinians living on their own land.

Pretending that no one understands what apartheid means is just annoying wordplay. Israel occupies land and legally distinguishes between the populations within using various criteria and discriminates accordingly to maintain control for the designated ethnicity, just like SA did. They employ de facto separate voting rolls, just like SA. They even deploy the same alleged tokenism SA did. It's as close as you can get to the original to the point of parody. But regardless of that, the practical effect is the same.

The Israelis as they exist today never intend to relinquish any relevant representative control over the explicitly racially defined jewish state of Israel to anyone other than jews. They define themselves ethnically. They define their state ethnically. It is not possible for Israel to exist without jews. It's not possible for the state to be jewish without jewish sovereignty.

But when you live on the same land as a population group that is not jewish then you either make your bed as an apartheid state to maintain your ethnosupremacy over the land or you let everyone vote. There's no argument for why West Bank jews can vote in Israeli elections but West Bank Palestinians can not that is not de facto apartheid driven.

It's kind of crazy to me that this is spawned from /r/KotakuInAction . Old dogs continue to bark.

Trump lost. Iran lost. America lost. The world lost.

Iran is suffering an acute economic crisis and is further away from acquiring nukes than it was before the war. But since there was never any demonstrable threat of Iran nuking anyone, this is a moot point. All we get is an economic crisis for 90 million people.

Iran's leverage over the Strait of Hormuz is shrinking. But given the strait was open before the US attacked, this is a moot point.

Iran's military strength is waning. But since they were not a threat to anyone before the war outside of zionist expansion plans, this is a moot point.

Trade in the Gulf and across the global economy is continuing almost uninterrupted if we discount the disruptions in trade in the Gulf and global effects like fuel rationing in Asia and increased fuel prices globally.

America's leverage in the Middle East is growing, not shrinking. Which is bad news for the world considering the disastrous results of US interventions in the middle East and the complete failure of their foreign policy in the region. Which include but are not limited to the collapse of multiple countries, the refugee crisis in Europe, the formation of ISIS and the promulgation of global terror the likes the world had not seen since 9/11.

"in the interests of justice"

I don't know to what extent one is allowed to fed-post anymore, it's been a while. But... Why do Americans have guns?

The same thought occurs when the British folk are getting wrangled through their activist court system. But they don't have guns or if they do they certainly lack the bravado of the online American that would like to maintain that things like grooming gangs could never happen on his watch. Despite very similar things already being a thing, like Aurora Avenue in Seattle.

But even then, how on earth can these judges get away with this stuff? The injustice is just off the charts

'My fellow whites' is morphing into 'My fellow neo-nazis? Well, as a fellow neo-nazi, Of course he is right. I would welcome this brother with open arms into the pan-nationalist fold. As anything else? No, he's actually wrong in the most racist way possible. It's a declaration of war against modern liberal societies and their moral identity.

The ideological priors that underpin that identity are very robust and ubiquitous in western societies, from being taught in elementary schools to being depicted in pop media. There is only one race, the human race. We are all inherently good, of equal worth, moral character and our faults are only a product of environmental circumstance. Openness and trust good, prejudice bad. We can all learn and better ourselves if given the chance and resources. Immigration is advertised as a universal good. Economically, culturally, morally and to the exclusion of any preservative conception of an ancestral or genetic ethnic identity. It's actually a moral duty to improve the conditions of others to help elevate them to the privileged point you coincidentally occupy today and any conception of your ancestral lineage or future progeny or majoritarian ingroup bias that exists to the exclusion of others is the greatest moral evil in existence.

The people saying, "Why can't you just all be one state together with equal rights regardless of faith or ethnicity?" are either being disingenuous or stupid. It is obvious to anybody looking at the situation honestly why that cannot work.

'Anyone who doesn't functionally grasp and agree with the principles of Neo-Nazism is disingenuous or stupid'? Apologies if I'm misinterpreting this and you are saying modern liberalism is 'working' for the west. But regardless of that I don't remember anyone proclaiming modern liberalism needs to work to the benefit of ethnocentric jews in particular. We all have to share this earth. Palestinians and jews included.

Sure, it sucks jews are a global minority and will definitely go extinct under this paradigm, but that's the case for most peoples. We will all end up beige.

Israel is different to the United States in being an ethno-state, but ethno-states are common. The US is the weird one, not Israel.

We generally accept that democracy is good. Stating that non-Japanese people would be incapable of participating in it in Japan without destroying it for the Japanese is the most illiberal and racist thing I've heard in years.

Ethno-states can only be alleged to be common as a result of history and circumstance. But nigh every first world nation, including Japan, is transforming away from that. That is the direction of modern liberalism. Israel is unique in that it's demanding a different direction for itself for profoundly illiberal neo-nazi reasons.

The argument following those admissions is that either Israel is an apartheid state because they don't intend to ever return sovereignty to the Palestinians. Which is what has been the de facto state of affairs for decades. And no one has any reason to believe otherwise.

Or Israel is placing Palestine under a prolonged illegal occupation. Be that the discrimination, illegal settlements and de facto annexation or whatever else. In either case there is nothing positive for Israel here.

But that's the argument: Its not apartheid, it's illegal occupation. Fine, say that. But the argument is not 'actually it's not apartheid when we do it because we rewrote the laws so the words don't line up 1:1 with South African law'.

Unlike the many zionists and jewish people I've interacted with online over the years who continuously argue against ethnocentrism, national security and sovereignty for people who are not jewish, I'm supportive of all nations having a secure homeland.

I'm adding the context you perpetually leave out to maintain your rhetoric. If America is winning a war that is of no benefit to anyone but zionists then I don't fully subscribe to the notion that 'America' is winning given the nature of the conflict.

Following that: when you narrowly define 'America' as just being a measuring stick for whether zionism is better or worse off, then you can say just about anything regardless of what is actually of benefit to American people.

America’s leverage is growing This is bad news for everyone but America

How has the 25 year middle East adventure benefited Americans? Let's clarify some things. America in your context is just US foreign policy as dictated by zionists. No American person living an American life sees benefit from any of this. This is just money out of their pocket. The ZOG of America has more leverage in the middle east now. That's the actual extent of your definition of victory. In other areas, that operate on non-zionist assumptions, America is worse off along with the rest of the world.

You can just say America is winning and you wish they lost because you’re on Iran’s side. That’s more respectable than whatever this is.

That would be the opposite of what I am saying though. Beyond that I would not give a penny for what you think is respectable given your glee in cheerleading for this war.

The case you are making for Israel is the case every neo-nazi has made for their own country. All of your assertions derive from illiberal worldview that is directly tied to the modern conception of neo-nazism. The idea of ethnostates as a coherent concept in the first place is going over the line, let alone that they could ever be good.

I do not blame Jews (or members of any group) for not wanting to go extinct. No group has an obligation to embrace its own obliteration.

You're not engaging with the contention. We can agree between the two of us to any illiberal view on the world for the preservation of our peoples and whatever else, but what's the relevance of that to the discourse relating to the reigning powers that be who are liberal and don't agree with us at all? Who'd denigrate the very idea that there are coherent and exclusive groups in the first place outside of the conception that the one that is better off should help the one whose worse off.

I don't think Israel is unique in being or wanting to be an ethno-state, and there are plenty of comparable nations.

I already explained why this line of thinking is invalid. Ethnostates can only be alleged to be common as a result of history and circumstance. But nigh every first world nation, including Japan, is transforming away from that. That is the direction of modern liberalism. Israel is unique in that it's demanding a different direction for itself for profoundly illiberal neo-nazi reasons.

To highlight this further with your example of Azerbaijan, if Azerbaijan was becoming an economic powerhouse, with opportunity that would make the life of foreign immigrants better, would they or would they not be obligated to open their borders to immigration under liberal priors? I'll repost them here:

There is only one race, the human race. We are all inherently good, of equal worth, moral character and our faults are only a product of environmental circumstance. Openness and trust good, prejudice bad. We can all learn and better ourselves if given the chance and resources. Immigration is a universal good. Economically, culturally, morally and to the exclusion of any preservative conception of an ancestral or genetic ethnic identity. It's a moral duty to improve the conditions of others to help elevate them to the privileged point you coincidentally occupy today and any conception of your ancestral lineage or future progeny or majoritarian ingroup bias that exists to the exclusion or detriment of others is the greatest moral evil in existence.

Which one of these do you disagree with? What do liberals call people who disagree with their core values? Who do you think you are to them?

The Palestinians and Israelis can make peace and if the neo-nazi conception of Israel has to perish for that peace to happen liberals have no reason to care. It's a process that's already ongoing in the west. Why shouldn't it happen to Israel?

It's an illegal occupation of Palestine. If we're concerned with using the correct terms. If your argument against SA apartheid is that it's just internal election laws then I'd want you to also recognize that SA wasn't an apartheid state either.

Am I misunderstanding you or is the claim that you can reliably shoot down drones with rifles? Because that's not the feeling I get from watching drone strike vids at all. To get around linking that soul devouring crap, here's a YouTuber talking to a guy about drones. This video shows more how hard they are to shoot.

It's also hard to imagine a rebel force contesting the US Air Force for air superiority via prop planes.

What people generally refer to regarding drones are FPV drones. The kind that are extremely hard to shoot down. Couple a few of those together with an ISR drone with thermals and any 'Red Dawn' wargames go out the window.

I'm OK with the existence of a jewish homeland. Israel as a particular project is problematic as it infringes on another peoples homeland. I'm also reluctant to offer much support for the Israeli side in that dispute given how belligerently zionists have behaved.

Yeah, the emotional first response people get is that of sympathy, but that just serves to highlight how warped and disconnected people are from reality.

It's this odd dynamic of white people being seemingly incapable of internalizing the amount of hate that's directed against them. Which should put people like Jason Arday in a 'The Witch is Dead!' category, at the very least. But instead folks just feel sorry for him. Including many of his alleged political enemies.

One really needs to ask oneself why. Because the most immediate plausible explanation is that everyone knows this is all a sham. No one believes that black people like him are actually academics. There's an emotive/sub-conscious understanding that they are always in over their heads. Playing a prop in an elaborate theater. They are given a lot of power and prestige, but everyone also knows that they have to color inside the set lines. And even that is usually too great an ask.

In a sense Arday did his cause the ultimate favor. He exists as a refutation of every apology and vindication of every critique of western academia and modern western culture as a whole. A stupid serial liar can become a professor at what should be one of the worlds most prestigious academic institutions because he repeated vacuous mantras about race, and happened to be of the right race. Now he is beyond reproach and the rotten system is safe from criticism. Because it relies on manipulation above all else, to keep itself afloat.

People point out that it's not his fault, 'We all killed Jason Arday'. Modern academia has a demand for soft spoken brown people who can verbalize extreme hatred for white people within a certain linguistic framework. But it's just a stupid cope to get away from facing the reality of the situation. That this is modern academia in the west. This is a product, an outcome, of what has been advocated for in the past decades.

Both the 'left' and 'right' will make use of this cope. Since the existence of Jason Arday isn't just a refutation of the 'left' and their academic theater, but also the respectable 'right' and it's inability to deal with the reality of immigration and multiracialism.

Shape rotating black guys with white guys doesn't really work since the two aren't the same. Which is highlighted by the obvious fictional nature used that denigrates Tyrone but then doesn't apply to Richard. Like being willing to violently confront and kill innocent people or being driven by malicious envy or vengeance.

In fact the actual story hits so hard since it's functionally the inverse of the Columbia style racist fiction that's been pushed on white America since the 60's. Where the assumption is that otherwise good and capable black people are being passed up because of their race, or in favor of a racial ideology that is malicious, wasteful and unfair to good people. It's practically the entire script.

But instead of a Hollywood happy ending where our hero inner city black lawyer is the only one who knows the racist nature of the criminal justice system well enough to be able to save a bigoted old white man who's been wrongfully charged, and then the bigot cries in the end for having been so evil racist and wrong his entire life, our hero just kills themselves. Because this isn't Hollywood and there are no magical negroes.

The actual negroes in their quest for racial justice are out there knocking white women out for sport, despite somehow having been arrested 9 times prior in a span of 34 months for various violent offenses including assault with a deadly weapon.

Hunt was talking about a "real issue" in a separate video that was filmed on July 21, where he was walking past a woman who was holding a "get well" balloon. “Nah, don’t wave to me,” Hunt yelled at the woman, going on to knock her to the ground. The 220-pound repeat criminal hovered over the woman, striking her face multiple times as she lay motionless on the ground, screaming the n-word at her.

Yeah if you make up novel definitions no one else shares you can try to claim to win the argument a priori.

Basing the interests of a nation on the nationals that live there and what benefits them? Novel indeed.

Iran is one of America’s greatest geopolitical enemies and has been for decades. They take Americans hostage, bomb American bases, attack neutral ships and fund terrorist networks throughout the Middle East.

Not a single one of those examples can stand under any scrutiny. Unless you define every nation that isn't a puppet to America as a geopolitical enemy. Which is coincidentally what zionists are wont to do.

Spain is not shooting these people or bombing their homes and has been working to naturalize millions of immigrants. Doing exactly what they say Israel should do.

I read the entire thing and felt it captured the sentiment around the famous photo better than elsewhere I looked. Where the focus is usually on how 'sad', 'scary' or 'ominous' the photo is, when in reality it wasn't necessarily like that. To me it was defiant.

Tyler is only twenty-four. Rene is twenty-one. Ages when most people are still figuring out who they are, let alone how to survive a lifetime together. Yet here they are, bound by something stronger than romance alone—shared trauma, shared loyalty, shared survival.

It circulates online, often without context. Some see only shock. Others see inspiration. But if you look closely, you see something deeper: a moment where two people stood together in honesty. No pretending. No filters. Just truth.

I didn't clock it as AI, even though it sounded generic at times. But even if it is I like this specific post and don't see the fact that it was written by AI as being disrespectful at all. And I stand by wanting people to read it. (Not to comment on the practice of maintaining a website that writes AI eulogies.)

If I'm clearly angry it's because you're not interacting with the topic on the level ideological priors that drive beliefs or tactfully sidestepping the factual points that don't line up for you. I don't buy the sudden 'ethnostates are OK, actually' now that the topic is Israel. Or the idea that, coincidentally, ethnostates have just happened to be bad idea up until this specific point. Or the idea that, just now, we're going to walk away from all the moral priors of the liberal world, including the belief that populations can change in their belief and behavior.

If that doesn't apply to you, and you're here as a non-biased rational actor who just judges things on thing at a time, with no moral code or overarching ideological view, fine. But I genuinely don't believe you at all. I think that if I bothered to walk through your comments I'd find a moral quandary where your disposition is the polar opposite to what it is in this case.

If these words are not to be used to convey the meaning of the unfair treatment that is alleged, I'd assume you do not apply it to South Africa, or even dignify words like pogroms?

The object level is that Palestinians are the world leader in child amputees. To that extent it would certainly seem correct to state that apartheid or violations of international law regarding occupation fall short of describing the inhumanity of Israel's terror campaign.

As for where the new Israel should be placed, I don't know. But I do know that between the many billionaire zionists, resourceful population of Israel and the international community, especially counting America, could find a universally beneficial solution if the subject was approached seriously.

Under no modern liberal definition is the direct continuation of distinct ethnic groups genetic lineage necessary. Jeet and Muhammed can be trusted to carry out your traditions just fine.

Palestinians are not like that

This is just low brow racism. If you can teach them to hate you can teach them to love. Israel needs to open its borders, but most necessarily Israelis need to open their hearts.

How will we make that happen? As the morally good, we will implement desegregation and forcibly integrate the schools at gun point if need be. You will also share prisons overcrowded with Palestinians who will rape and torture you to death because it makes them feel happy but we won't make a big deal out of it or change anything because segregation and apartheid is the greater moral evil.

We will create media that promotes ethnic grievance directed against you to remind everyone of your physical and moral crimes. We will make media about how morally good and righteous Palestinians are. We will make media about how Palestinian men and jewish women are romantically made for one another. We will make vague pseudo-scientific genetic arguments about hybrid vigor and how mixed babies are superior. We will make pornography specifically depicting the act of copulation between the two ethnic groups and make it de facto accessible to children.

We will be lenient on Palestinian criminals who rape jewish women and children and outlaw media that tries to highlight or speak against this. And we will at every turn promote the idea that this is morally good, brag about the fact that we've done this and proclaim that any jew who thinks otherwise is a malignant tumor besieging society that must be ostracized, forcibly reeducated or otherwise destroyed. It's also actually a mental illness to believe any of this is happening, or that it's bad, planned or that you don't deserve it.

You fail the liberal test. Ms. Greddle would like to have a word with you after class.

I'm not seeing a failure mode for Mamdani voters here. As far as they are concerned their moral principles are the reason the UN exists in the first place. If the UN is not serving those principles then what's the point of venerating it? Create a migrant hotel for Palestinians out of the headquarters instead. Host an annual anti-zionism conference. Do something that lines up with the morals of the demos.

To steelman the lefty base, Israel has been waging its ethnocentric terror campaign against the Palestinians for decades. The time to invoke the sanctity of our international institutions passed us by a long time ago. The moment Israel stopped pulling their punches after Oct.7 and the UN did nothing, any surface argument for maintaining the pretense that these institutions matter went out the window.

Sources can say a lot of things, but they do seem to be saying the thing. Is the issue here with the word 'paid' rather than 'released'?

Two regional sources told Reuters the UAE had agreed to release a total of $10 billion, more than $3 billion of which had already been delivered.

Two other sources with knowledge of the arrangement put the total funds involved at $20 billion, adding that the move had been agreed in return for a halt to Iranian attacks on the UAE. One of the sources with knowledge of the arrangement also said a first tranche of $3 billion had already been made available.
