I’m Bernie Sanders’ personal gimp
Once upon a time I was a Republican and then I went to college and turned into the leftist liberal progressive Democrat that hides under your bed and no I am not a man and yes I’m addicted to downvotes, every time I get one it’s like a bump of that sweet smoking gun. Also I do 99% of this on mobile in my bathtub, so if I don’t respond to you it’s because my screen was too tiny to read everything before I got out of the bath.

Who knew my biggest struggle on this site wasn’t debating hobby horses it was convincing people I’m a biological woman. I even put it in my name to make it easy. If you want a picture of my tampon stash all you gotta do is ask.
That’s what I’m talking about (=´∀`)人(´∀`=)
I can assure you I have 100% organic home-grown cage-free open-field breasts.
I feel this on a cellular level when my sertraline refill gets screwed up and I start getting spazzy vertigo like a spinning open wire waiting for it. My fist goes to you, hope you find some leftovers.
How is that not hypocritical to you?
I’ve been called a lot of things, but being trans has gotta be a first. That was a good giggle for me.
Edit: Also hey you try going five days in a row with barely any sleep from feeling like you gotta spend a penny 24/7 and NOT talk about it.
My social credit card has been declined? That’s news to me. Do you have evidence that young men compete and distinguish themselves for access to me?
I think there are just so many people who want a job and are also desperate/naive and there are so many businesses out there that one business can just keep churning through the fodder for years until someone reports them.
Well I appreciate the upvotes, but please, upvote if you agree with my post. I genuinely don’t give thought to my upvotes and downvotes, and I don’t mind the majority of responses disagreeing with me. If I’m going to stick my liberal hand in the very-not-liberal crocodile mouth, I can’t cry when it bites down.
I reread your first paragraph and I legitimately can’t understand what you’re trying to say. I know you think I’m waging the culture war, but I’m stumbling over your explanation in the end of your first paragraph to form a proper response. Could you reword it for me?
Also, we are sooooo not going to agree that the left and right are equally partisan and that Trump supporters don’t have a monopoly over the behavior.
I didn’t expect this on my February bingo card but I had to report a business to the U.S. Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division for wage theft and illegal termination because like four hours before my first day of training began they sent me my paperwork and there was a gigantic list of straight-up illegal wage deductions including “out of dress code on property” for $100 each “offense” and a line that said they’d terminate for “discussing pay rates with anyone”. I have a bit of a psychological knee-jerk shyness to positions of authority in business so I had to max out all of my bravery points to do it because then the recruiter kept spamming my phone trying to “explain why we had the rules please reconsider” until I busted out the i word, so go me, stickin’ it to the man. Oops mb
I guess that’s “the joke”? In my opinion, the Democratic strategy is that not all Republicans are the same. The Republican majority is slim, so there is wiggle room convince only a few to not vote on legislation.
The Republican party released a video of migrants in chains and called it ASMR. In my opinion it’s not a reach that the cruelty can stretch to that, and that they believe they have the political capital to do it, seeing as, in my opinion, their base has supported every cruel executive order made so far.
I struggle to understand the logic that Trump repeating Russian propaganda shouldn’t be taken seriously while Biden saying pretty much anything is a dog whistle for pedophilia. But struggle alas I shall.
Republicans in Congress have such a slim majority right now that Democrats cannot afford anyone to be arrested for any period of time. They already have to convince 5+ Republicans to get a majority, they don’t want to sabotage themselves and make it 6+ because one of their own congressmen pushed through the National Guard to get into his office and was arrested on the spot. Republicans are counting on them to resist so that they can lock up the congressmen and drag out the proceeding legal fight so the congressmen are too busy trying to get out of jail and can’t vote on legislation.
My contention is because there is a non-zero number of funny women, and a non-zero number of non-funny men, we can’t draw any reliable generalizations about population averages. I would predict that there is a decent chance the woman will be taller than the man, because, despite population averages are what they are, I believe inter-state travel and urban sprawl allow for such a variance in something like the people who will enter a bar that it is possible to win your bet that the woman will be taller. Look, I know a lot more guys that are shorter than me than not and I'm not that tall. And yet, men on average tend to be taller than women. What gives? How did I manage to land in a random pool of short men? Additionally, I think I'm funnier and smarter than most of the men I have known and do know IRL. What gives there? Do I prove women are smarter than men because I outrank, like, 50+ men? The variance is just too much to make such sure decisions such as "your friend who is a theoretical physicist is going to be male because on average there are more males in that field".
I've never seen Orange is The New Black actually. I think it's unacceptable to house sexual convicts with non-sexual convicts regardless of gender. If a convicted rapist asserts that he's now a woman, then he's a woman. She still shouldn't be housed with anyone due to the nature of her crime, but if she's going to be, she's especially not going to be house with someone who is clearly physically unable to fight back against her.
I tell those studies I'm sure glad they found people who want to be married and have children, because of course they would be happy to fulfill those personal goals. I'd also tell those studies to ask themselves how many people think they're happy with marriage and children, because I think the answer would be "a hell of a lot". I am of the opinion one of the unforeseen cultural changes in the USA caused by Industrial Revolution in the late 18th/19th centuries was elevating a style of parenting that has created a national crisis in child abuse; specifically, emotional neglect. Thousands upon thousands of children were raised emotionally neglected, and as a result they neglected their own children, which went on and on. Entire generations stumbling through a fog of fear, obligation and guilt in every aspect of their lives, including and most damning with their marriages and their children. Essentially, there are more people who are married and are literally not capable of supporting a marriage emotionally than people who are and can do so.
I'd agree with Mr. Terf that gender roles are socially constructed but the physical body is not. However, I don't think a person having a penis or vagina is a valid reason to stop them from competing against someone with a penis or vagina in competitive sports. I think what should stop them is weight classes, a principle I understand to already be understood in wrestling, and that has nothing to do with being a woman or man. I have met men the same weight class as myself or lower, and I have met woman with a weight class far above mine. I wouldn't want to compete with a clearly scrawny person or a clearly buff-as-all-hell person since the gap is so big the comparison in competition doesn't hold. And I don't think there's a problem housing them together for the same reason. Women beat the shit out of eachother in prison just as much as men do; house a buff woman with a scrawny man together and I'd see the same result if you reversed the weight class. If a prison houses two people who are clearly unequally matched in strength they're doing a pretty bad job with security and basic common sense.
I dunno, I see a whole lot more of "trans women are freaks in the head for being trans, trans women are clearly much uglier being trans and therefore must hate themselves, trans women are just horny men who want to peep at women pissing in the bathroom, trans women want to convince your kid they're trans to mutilate themselves because deep down they're insecure, xyz" than "trans women are unfairly advantaged in sports and trans women pose a safety threat to their fellow inmates".
Uh, yes? I don't know what to tell you lol they don't work out, are skinnier than me, or the myriad of reasons why a person has poor grip strength.
My evidence for what? That women are not less funnier than men? That women are less intelligent? I'd say statistics. I don't find my father funnier than me, so unless I'm just wrong about humor because of my brain which I can't be because humor is a subjective trait, not an objective trait, my father is therefore not funnier than me. If it was wired in my brain to be less funnier than him, I'd find him hilarious, but I don't. Statistically, if I am experiencing that, somewhere out there another woman is too, which means there are >0 women who are funnier than men. Therefore you cannot say "women are less funny than men" when you literally have at the minimum two who are. You can say "some women are less funnier than men". Repeat that for every subjective aspect of a personality.
I would advocate for extending the sentences for female felons to match the rate of male felons. There is not much a reason to do so otherwise than the sexist notion that women are incapable of being as conscious of their actions as men. I would not further advocate for undoing the "separate-but-equal" penal system of having separate women's prisons because I don't think incarcerating polar body types is a good idea. I suppose if there was a system that properly vetted an incarcarated person's weight to match their cellmate similar to wrestling I would support it, otherwise, putting someone obviously heavier than someone else inside a room is a recipe for wasting the prison guard's time.
I don't mind continuing I just have to move from my phone to my computer because I do a majority of this on my tiny little phone screen while squatting in the shower like a toad to pass the time until I can get out so I've got about as much bandwidth as that medium allows. I don't mind the questions; people are just curious and it's not every day a bonafide thoroughbred blue blood liberal feminist technically-nonbinary Democrat comes around here. I'm sure I represent the boogeyman they've always wanted to debate as much as they represent the boogeyman that haunts my nightmares lol.
See I think "feminism" means so many different things to people who don't want to be feminist but sure don't want to deal with the consequences of it. Same of Christianity; there are lots and lots and lots of people who are not Christians who try to convince others and themselves they are because, well, otherwise they would be in moral trouble. Imo it's the duty of actual Christians to remind everyone what constitutes, and more importantly, what doesn't constitute that; otherwise words and meanings are lost to manipulation and then nobody knows what the hell they're talking about.
Roundabouting to incarceration; I do not support unequal sentences for women or men. Let's jump together Mr. Rabbit.
Yeah...? Where I live, most women are raised socially conservative by their parents. I have yet to see any of them demonstrate any signs of overall contentment in life, and I personally believe it's because of internalized misogyny. In my opinion, in the socially conservative, non-feminist world, being a woman sucks; you're basically a child and men are your parents, and your hopes and dreams are reined in by this silly notion that what makes a woman happy is being a mother. Who can possibly be content believing that about themselves? Feminism reminds women that they are equally capable of being assertive, structured, linear and individual like men, while reminding that men are equally capable of being random, inter-dependent and self conscious.
I absolutely agree with you that if people don't agree on how to use labels, communication grinds to a halt. I believe one of the greatest disconnects in the USA is that a vocal group of people have started to try to change the definitions of words which is destroying the national conversation, but then again, I don't think the national conversation is happening between online reactionaries. I think real feminists are quite boring; hence you don't heard about them on reactionary websites. I also think the way to stop the misappropriation of words is by ignoring it. I frame it something like: If a group of adults are talking about horses and a kid comes over, points to a mule, and calls it a horse, you don't suddenly debate the definition of a horse. You tell the kid that's not a horse, and if he insists, you ignore him. If he wants to go find others who want to call a mule a horse and make a group, then you have a weird bunch of people who don't know what the hell a horse is.
In my opinion, yes, they did beat you into submission, and therefore weren't very good Christians. My parents did the same. I remember the paddle. And I also remember the Golden Rule: treat others the way you want to be treated. I highly doubt my parents would want to be hit with an object over and over again to the point of causing them tears when someone disagrees with them, therefore, they're violating the first rule of the whole religion. And I'd disagree we don't have a common understanding of beating children and Christianity; I don't assume you are malicious, and if we broke things down into a "yes" or "no", I think we'd find a lot of shared yeses. But, as you said, when words lose their meanings, communication becomes hard, much less breaking things down into a yes or no.
Genuine what the huh? I can't tell if you're asking me for a picture of my used tampons but the answer would be and is no.
