Conservatives really need to learn that the corrupt swamp cannot be taken out with the corrupt swamp's own tools. Buy guns people. You aren't fixing things by voting and things will only get worse.
edit: since I forgot how feminized this place is and don't want to get accused of fed posting. Rawls was a moron, institutions are downstream of culture. Our culture is shot, institutions will continue to degrade. The people that will inherit what is left will be people that have high trust and cohesive cultures + birth rates + guns (security). If you really want to be double safe find one that already has parallel institutions, like education (religious communities) money (crypto?) etc.

Seems like framing the "Big 5" liberals score higher on Openness to Experience, Cons to Conscientiousness through a Christian European historical perspective. As far as I remember those traits still predict political orientation even in cultures that don't have that specific history though. So it seems more likely its a conflict rooted more in human psychology and not specifically European history or Christianity. Vaguely remember reading some evo pysch theories out there about disgust response protecting against disease and risk and curiosity leading to resource / knowledge accumulation, but evo pysch always felt like a pretty non sciencey science to me.

You don't seem to understand what "don't trust your lying eyes" means. It means trust me over your own experiences. A random maximally emotionally exploitative WaPo article is not my own experiences. My own experience is that there are still far too many foreigners out and about so ICE needs to step it up, start denaturalizing as well.
A better example would be what the Trump admin is trying to do with affordability and food prices after their shellacking during the elections. People feel that the economy is still bad and things are still too expensive but they're on an all out blitz to deny this and claim prices are down. This backfired for Biden (vibecession) and will likely backfire for them as I don't see many conservatives buying it.
Yes, either Zelensky/Rubio will be successful in convincing Trump that completely unrealistic demands on Ukraine's behalf should be added, in which case Putin will reject it and the neocons will push Trump for more sanctions. Or Z fails and Trump has an excuse to finally bail and pull intel and support, dumping it on Europe. Either way the war continues and the outcome is the same, just the timeline changes.
