The Wednesday Wellness threads are meant to encourage users to ask for and provide advice and motivation to improve their lives. It isn't intended as a 'containment thread' and any content which could go here could instead be posted in its own thread. You could post:
-
Requests for advice and / or encouragement. On basically any topic and for any scale of problem.
-
Updates to let us know how you are doing. This provides valuable feedback on past advice / encouragement and will hopefully make people feel a little more motivated to follow through. If you want to be reminded to post your update, see the post titled 'update reminders', below.
-
Advice. This can be in response to a request for advice or just something that you think could be generally useful for many people here.
-
Encouragement. Probably best directed at specific users, but if you feel like just encouraging people in general I don't think anyone is going to object. I don't think I really need to say this, but just to be clear; encouragement should have a generally positive tone and not shame people (if people feel that shame might be an effective tool for motivating people, please discuss this so we can form a group consensus on how to use it rather than just trying it).

FWIW I went with Reta from a semi-sketchy source (I'll share in message, though the site I bought from has different sources now.) and it went fine. I picked a supplier that had respectable (but not the most amazing/expensive) reviews and COAs (too cheap and lazy to test the batch that I received) and it's been fine. If anything, the only issue I've had has been with inconsistent dosing (This was noted in the COAs; purity tends to be good from batch to batch but the suppliers have a habit of overdelivering on dosage.) and my own overly aggressive dosing schedule (I was aggressive and it worked, but I felt like shit a lot of the time before I reached a dose that I've stuck with. Most of that "feeling like shit" was just the result of a very aggressive calorie deficit. I didn't want to eat but I was tired AF and constantly cold.).
As for results, I lost 60lbs in 5 months and going on/off have hit a sort of plateau and not really been trying since then. I might go for another 10-15lbs but beyond that (and maybe then) I'd be venturing too far into "skinny nerd" territory. For reference, I'm currently 175lbs at 6'1.
