I had something to open or cut at work a few years back, so in front of the owner, I asked my manager if I could borrow his knife. Keep in mind I didn’t know if he had one on him, but he has a Texan accent.
The CEO looked at me with an expression of incredulity, as if I’d grown a third ear and she just noticed it.
Well, without a word, my manager grabbed a Swiss Army knife from his pocket and handed it to me. She looked at him with an even more incredulous look.
It was the single most sitcom moment ever. I could practically hear the laugh track.
