You seem particularly upset by the Haitians in Springfield eating pets story. We're you also upset by the Russian collusion, or pee dossier stories?
I think there were a couple elements to the Hatian story that gave it the legs it had. There was a woman arrested while apparently eating a cat, though in Canton not Springfield and she isn't Hatian. There was a 911 call reporting 4 Hatians stealing geese from a park. There was a viral Facebook post purporting to describe 3rd or 4th hand about a lost cat found field dressed hanging from a tree. The memes of Trump saving kittens and ducks were sharable because cats and the internet.
It seems to me that this is one of those misinformation stories that's only horrible when it's my evil out-group doing it. When it's the righteous and good in group repeating Russian collusion, pee dossier or Hunter Biden laptop is Russian disinformation, disinformation it's OK.

Maybe it's a protestent thing, ours has a fellowship hour following service every Sunday. There's tea, coffee, pastries, fruit, sandwiches, etc., in the fellowship hall.
There are also bible study groups, and opportunities for volunteering in support of church activities.
Why can't it be a church service and a social occasion? Does anyone linger to chat? Is there a bulletin, worship guide or website that lists upcoming activities? Are there any organized activities for the feast days?
I've only lived in Europe and the US, my experience may not translate.

Immigration of engineers isn't controversial, and never has been.
Unless the imported engineers depress wages for native engineers and reduces investment in native engineering development capacity.
In terms of our social life, travel, DINK lifestyle, etc. The 2nd had blown-up that. We bought a lager house in the ex-burbs, a used SUV, and my wife became a SAHM then we had number 3 and 4 and briefly entertained the idea of 5, likely would have happened if we were younger. I should add that this coincided with a relocation from a western Europe capitol city to New England.
I think thoughtful competent people should absolutely have as many children as they can manage.
To me this sounds like the sort of rationalization you hear from people non-compliant with their meds or treatment.
Many bipolar people enjoy the mania, anorexics like losing weight. Their family and doctors just want them 'normal' and fat.
If wanting the goal of medical treatment to be a return to a natural state of health is a rejection of 'transhumanist ideals', ok.

To claim that modern society has devalued motherhood and femininity, or made them low status, is completely backwards.
Is your argument that modern society values motherhood more? That there have never been so few women per capita becoming mothers, to me is evidence against this.
Complementarianism, may be expressed more now, I suspect for much of existence it went without saying, but was no less true.

Is the hectoring of foreign governments on behalf of sexual minorities beneficial to US policy objectives anywhere? It doesn't seem to be winning many friends in Africa or Asia either, except for vocal degenerates. I've thought this was signaling for domestic alphabet people and their allies.

I think we're doing a poorer job of engaging the the children of smart people.
We have 4 children. They're all smart, but my middle son has tested as > 99.9% in math and taught himself to read somewhere between ages 3 and 4. Despite being in one of the more affluent districts in our state in the Northeast there are no services for gifted children. As long as children are performing at grade level asking for more academic rigor is met with shrugs. This is partially why we're homeschooling now.
In 80's California our class sizes were bigger but there was a GATE program and divided start to better group the class into reading groups by ability / level. I'm sure there are lots of 'studies' but the couple I've dug into seem like bullshit.

It's not just government. Lots of orgs have tried to replace expertise / experience / competency with process and procedure.
You can sometimes see how well this works in practice. It's like when you've a cashier that can't make change and you try to give them 2¢ so you get $1 and not 98¢ in change.

The peer group at the Russian School of Math is a benefit.
This was our first year homeschooling. My wife is happy with the progress they're making.
Before being a FT SAHM / homemaker, she was MD/PhD.
The lack of support for gifted kids is part of it. The lack of rigor in the curriculum in general is surprising. There are no letter grades. Seldom / rarely any homework. Spelling is typically not corrected on any submitted work, students are not expected to correct / revise their own work for resubmission. The concept of penmenship seems to have disappeared entirely. There's no copy work. No spelling / writing from dictation. Rarely any reading aloud. No deficiency notices. Yet there's still somehow less time for recess.

There are factions of "Big Eva" who seem to be moving more Left (see the recent "He gets us" commercial in the Super Bowl).
They went with foot washing. I would have preferred the casting out of demons, or over turning tables and driving out the money changers or hypocrisy condemning. They don't get me.

It's not something fundamental about public schools, it's the students.
It's also the curriculum, teachers and administrators.
I would happily send my children to my elementary school too, in 1980, when I started half-day kindergarten.
The reality of school today is very different even in top decile areas than 1980. We've found our high performing public school to be insufficiently academicly rigorous. Our school committee feels more like PR or cheerleaders for the superintendent and faculty, who are products of post-modern education academia.

It seems odd to me to classify following the rules of the benefits / incentive program as 'gaming' . If you follow the rules and have the children, it seems like it's producing the desired outcome.

I don't think were going to sperm bank and single mother our way out of low fertility. Certainly that would produce negative consequences.
I am in the top 10% of individual earners and have a cubicle in a building in a low rise industrial park fortunately I'm only in the cubicle one or two days a week. The remainder of the week I wage slave from home.
My wife homemakes, caring for me and our four children. I don't know that I would describe what she does most days as 'chilling'. Nor do I think this arrangement is a particularly pecuniarily rewarding one for her. Our household income percentile ranking was significantly higher as DINK.
I feel fortunate that through some trick of biology she experiences 'love' for me and a desire to bear my children. I have a 90th percentile head, it was no small task.
