No. They're entitled to vote in town elections and attend and vote at town meetings. They, other abutters and residents may object to the proposed change of use. There are rules to ensure proposed changes in use are not detrimental to the town and residents.
The only one I'm aware of is Boys Beware, it seems pretty measured to me.

Government pressure to detect, infiltrate and disrupt their criminal networks, ensure the state is not losing revenue to tax fraud, welfare fraud, etc. Inspection prior to admission for signs of contagious disease, poor physique, feeblemindedness or insanity, criminal records or signs of low moral character.
Absent intermarriage or other dilution of their ethnic heritage, why wouldn't you be able to distinguish Italians, Poles and Germans? It's something that many people in Europe are able to do routinely with better than chance outcomes.

Except as a town of only around ~4000 we don't have many tracts, and the duplexs that were built are selling for $670k.
The surrounding farmland and greenspace contribute significantly to the rural character, the historic buildings, church and common provides a canvas for the town events and a gathering space for the residents. That town leadership is responsive to residents in protecting the character is an example of democracy in action.
Perhaps if you joined us at church service or patronized our local businesses you'd have a more charitable view of the stewardship many feel for their communities.

Which variety of child sexual abuse? The sort where two men adopt / foster boys they abuse and sometimes produce pornography with or the sort where homosexual men will invite teen boys that are 'old souls' to pool parties for leering, letchery, drug use, and also sometimes pornography production?
I find both unacceptable. I suspect the latter is more common than the former. I also suspect the latter is more acceptable in the letch community.
How common does conservative media lead people to believe it is? I'm certain there are unreported instances of both occurring this weekend. Given the current year acceptance of alphabetism, isn't it likely there's more of this abuse now than anytime in the last 40 years?

Have a car seat with a handle that also attaches to a stroller. Being able to shift a sleeping baby out of the car either onto a stroller or into a shopping cart while leaving them in their carseat / bucket is useful. Practice with the empty seat securing it into it's base in the car and onto it's fixture on a stroller.

To what end? Even the towns that would be small enough to fire all their police, would then have less control over policing by the subsequent agency until thw town reconstitutes its own force. Once you've lost so many of the police there are none to enforce the law you've also likely lost the consent of the governed or made the expectations and duties of the police untenable. I see the police more like firemen, garbagemen or water and power workers, infrastructure.
The deep state is more public private partnership.

How similar is "asking" to failing to take precautions against?
Windows up and doors locked, is sound practice, as is not wearing expensive jewelry, watches, clothes in crime prone areas.
Other senarios allow for blame sharing, unhelmeted motorcyclists, unseatbelted auto occupants, drunk women (drivers), Darwin award winners.
The thoughts of the victims and their allies should be partiality discounted. They've demonstrated their understanding of the nature of their environment is lacking.
