Yes, we're given meat after the fall and the flood. I don't think eating meat is necessarily a sign of our fall, it's a component of the new covenant. A gift from God to his people.
I like animals and hope they have happy lives, especially the tasty ones. There would be very few domestic animals if humans didn't eat them.
I'm not sure I'd describe the distinction between humans and animals as arbitrary. Man created in God's image to rule over animals.
Christ eats fish, I'd like to think that if he didn't eat lamb at passover someone would have noted it or asked why.

Focus on identifying a physically active partner. The right wife for you should follow your lead in regards to open mindedness, I wouldn't filter on this.
Common disinterests can be as important if not moreso than common intrests.
Do you have a timeframe in mind for marriage? Have you been telling people you're looking for a wife and mother of your future children?

Lack of social sanction is one way society / culture limits degeneracy.
Lack of opportunities to be degenerate limits degeneracy. We're still able to limit the median straight males opportunities for degeneracy.
Limiting homosexuals opportunities for degeneracy was homophobic, and now they're much more degenerate.
Why do we need to seperate proclivity from opportunity?
The mechanisms for reducing degeneracy seem geared for reducing opportunities. The interventions for reducing / removing the proclivity would likely be more invasive.

My experience has been, it may be generational, that gay men in long-term committed relationships will still seek sex outside their committed relationship or will seek sex with their partner with others outside the relationship.
Part of the degeneracy is the availability. The median straight 20yo is less degenerate because pussy is less available. Many straight men could be more degenerate if they had lower standards for pussy.
Having higher standards makes you less degenerate.
The median straight is less degenerate than the median gay.
