Starbuck, in BSG, will always be Kara Thrace to me. She's flawed, compelling, and there is no Mary Sueing or girl bossing in her character. Makes me want to rewatch over the holiday break.
Agreed. It also helps that I've never watched the original BSG series either and Kara Thrace pulled it off really well. Tricia Helfer is also very easy on the eyes.

Yeah, not so much. That's a great way to raise an atheist. (eg. sample size of 1: me). Learning the ins and outs of the history of the bible and enough theology is just enough to show you how much of a bullshit fake it till you make it the various holly texts incorporated in the bible are. The absolute revulsion it causes you as a naive believer to realise the entire edifice of "the church" is just years and years of the priestly/ruling class making shit up as they go along to benefit themselves or their kings. Seeing how the various commandments and moral demands of the dogma are entirely based on the worldly, fallen needs, wants and prejudices of mere humans is enough to turn anyone an atheist.
Trust me, the less you know about religion the better.

May I remind you that the state of shipping security is an absolute joke. People order clearly labeled radioactive material online. Have it shipped over a weekend through USPS and no one even bats an eye, EVEN WHEN IT'S not packaged safely.
So I'm actually not surprised you can just order some bioweapons online and some clueless numbskull with ship them to you and you'd get your package left at the curb.
I'm honestly shocked we haven't had a tragedy related to shipping iffy stuff and those delivery truck thieves.

Remember Glassholes? People have an expectation of "privacy in public" in the way that normal humans aren't perfect memorization machines who could produce exact images of your face complete with biometric identification on command. So when you're recording random dudes it's always very SUS. If we had body cam always with you but only ON when shit goes down, then maybe people would be ok with that.
But this body cam would need a bright hardware led that can't be disabled while the cam is actively recording.

Picard is unwatchable except the last season is mildly ok. STD (lel) is a complete write off. Strange New Worlds is suprisingly not that bad, it's ok when it's not focosuing on uhura(actress can't fill those shoes not even one bit) or Nurse Chapel ( her character is she's an E-girl but in space wearing a medical uniform ). And don't get me started on Pike doing most of the captaining from his personal mess hall while he's cooking. Other than that it's not as rage inducing as it could have been. Honestly STD set the bar so low it formed a black hole in the middle of the earth and is slowly consuming the planet. Anything else in comparison to that is ecstatic.

I definitely know about the ovarian cancer thing with the FtMs but my entirely unscientific hunch is the puberty blockers thing for the MtFs will leave a trail of ugly in a few years. The 30 days to a month isn't completely pulled out of the ass. It's based on the moon's movements. Same with the 12 months to a year. The specific micro lengths of the months not being evently diviced could be rectified. Also whichever joker decided OCTOBER isn't the 8th month of the year should burn in hell for all eternity.
