Usually those chaplains are actually deacons who do not have the full range of sacramental powers.

I could expound on my own subjective view at length, but I think it would be more useful to just say that at some point my vision of the far future went from Star Trek to, I don't know, Dune or something, and I didn't like it.

"Egalitarian" societies have really not been around long in the grand scheme of things and the wheels are already clearly coming off with cratering TFR and solutions like mass migration causing massive destabilization.
I came to this same conclusion and it was a real doompill for me. The kind of modern secular liberal egalitarian democratic system we've been running for the last fifty or sixty years just isn't standing up to the test of time very well. That system has reacted by tabooing any values other than its own, but that hasn't actually fixed anything, and so now we have a decrepit empire rife with heresy.

If someone starts pushing a plan to gas all the Jews or something I'll worry about who's "rallying around Nazis" or not, but I absolutely refuse to humor anyone like you with your little list of no-no words someone said, ever again, under any circumstance. I'd care about this more if it made any difference. Staff at a perfectly ordinary suburban high school tried to talk a vulnerable young member of my family down a path that very well could have led to her permanent sterilization and disfigurement. As far as I'm concerned it's moral to eradicate gender ideology even at significant cost to the rest of society.
Yeah I don't know what to tell you dog, Hitler's death has passed out of meaningful living memory and the left has been screaming Nazi at every Republican presidential candidate of my adult life. You're flogging a dying taboo that will only continue to get weaker.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it has plenty more flogging left in it, but given how Dem-aligned cohorts ranging from campus wokies to random working-class black dudes all seem to hate Israel/Jews now I don't think it's going to be the decisive issue of the age.

It's my impression that the internecine struggle between the pro-Jewish and anti-Jewish right has heated up significantly in the aftermath of the Kirk shooting. Normie Republican wonks versus Groypers. The normie "Israel is our greatest ally, legal immigration is heckin' wholesome, never say slurs" Republicans obviously hold vastly superior institutional power, but long-term they're basically dead. As far as I can tell every right-wing male under forty on social media considers them complete dickless old losers.

You appear to think of politics entirely on the basis of whether policies create material problems for you in your life (and, granted, in your daughter's). Don't you have a concept of politics as rooted in moral values unrelated to your own personal fate?

Well, the flip side of this is that with the righty reaction to the lefty reaction to the Kirk assassination, the Right has also thoroughly burned its "it's just banter" card. If the two competing party programmes in the US actually start being perceived as "install a modern version of Hitler" vs. "shoot all Charlie Kirks", which one do you figure will have majority support?
Fuck 'em anyway. Anyone who still wants to go soothe ISIS's concerns about blasphemy at this point will have to do it without me.
