Wow some niche internet gossip I rarely see around here! What the hell happened to Krystal? It seems like her brain is just fully broken at this point. She broke up her family to go marry the coworker she was obviously cheating with, and the show she in some sense started with Saagar Enjeti rarely features him anymore. I'll be honest I used to watch their show daily, and even tried to become a premium subscriber. Now I'll tune in sometimes as a hate listen, and can rarely make it more than a minute or so.

The right understands the gravity of using violence for political reasons, and so they don't do it.
The left just murdered a 31 year old father of two little girls who's crime was trying to engage them rhetorically, and a substantial number of the left are cheering it on.
I'm sick of hearing this both sidesism. The left is violent, the right simply isn't. It's not both sides. They're different ideologies.

This event has effected me in a way I didn't expect, which makes me feel vulnerable. I had no idea how sociopathic a substantial number of my close friends are. I also had no idea how simply dumb they are. One of the things I keep seeing them post is "well he said that some gun violence was an acceptable price to pay for the freedoms associated with the 2nd amendment, so fuck him! Haha reap what you sow" etc.
They say this while at the same time arguing that the small number of detrans people are a small price to pay for the benefit of trans procedures overall. Or that the small number of vaccine injuries are a small price to pay for the benefits of vaccines, etc.
They also seem unable to extrapolate what their ideas imply at all. "Charlie Kirk was a nazi, he had bad views, I'm happy he's dead" etc. But how can they honestly not see that this could also be applied to their bad views? Or imagine any higher order effects?
It's very perception-shifting to see people say this stuff. I don't like it.

Zelensky has too much sunk cost. If he ends the war, and loses ground, there's a good chance he doesn't live for very long afterwards.
It seems that there is a bigger story here. This person was possibly groomed by a group called O9A/764, which is a satanic accelerationism/terrorist group that recruits kids into doing things like this.

There’s a broader story here that maybe deserves its own discussion: a lot of the things which the “le heckin science” types dismissed as stupid seem to be real actually? Like this seems as if the 1980s satanic panic stuff was just…true.
I think it’s wrong to try and fit this into left or right. These people aren’t really on the binary. It’s just anti society in general. You see elements of this on both the left, wanting to end society so they can build their glorious gay space communism society finally, and on the right, so they can build their glorious ethnostate.
I’ve seen both rightists and leftists trying to claim this guy for their outgroup, but I think it’s way more complex than that. Basically there is a third group which is the outgroup of everyone on purpose.

I think the entire game here is so obvious that it’s actually getting frustrating to me to even read people talk about this.
Epstein was an Israeli intelligence asset. This should be as obvious as saying that the four legged furry animal that barks at the mailman, chase tennis balls, that lives in my house, and had two parents who were both dogs, is, in fact, a dog.
It should not be lost that this entire Epstein stuff made a 180 pivot about three days before The United States was needed to clean up yet another of Israel’s messes by bombing Iran.
Trump is also just obviously not a pedophile or whatever other cope term that Redditors from 15 years ago were using to justify their creepy interest in teenagers.
Jeffrey Epstein was a NYC and Palm Beach socialite at the same time as Trump. Yeah they shared a plane a few times, were at some of the same parties, and had some social overlap.
The people trying to tie this into the same vein as Clinton or Gates, who appear to have flown to Epsteins private properties a bunch of times and do seem to have creepy sexual interests are being obtuse.
This whole topic is so tired. It has been beaten to absolute death.

The United States supports Israel militarily. There are no US hostages being held. It is not in the interest of the United States to support the starvation of gazan children regardless of how many Israeli hostages Hamas allegedly has.

This just reads like a travel blog. What are you getting at here? This seems like a lot of words to say: “I am Indian. I went to London and it was more expensive than last time. There are fewer English people here than last time I was here.”

I don’t fantasize about being a warrior or a poet. I like democracy, and I think I live in the most peaceful, best time in all of human history. I think both of these fantasies are stupid.

That’s not what they’re fantasizing about.
The poets are not fantasizing about being depressed trying to think of poems, failing, being rejected from journals, being told their poetry sucks etc. It’s a fantasy. They’re thinking about being the alpha poet who everybody adores and looks up to.
The warrior-fantasy guys are fantasizing about being Rambo, or whatever. “Against all odds Chad thundercock saved a village of poets by single handedly fighting off a barrage of barbarians all while severely injured and survived only by a thread and by pure determination” etc.
It’s not a perfect symmetrical set of fantasies because the fantasy is coming from a different ideology.

Tattoos are a way of giving a piece of your body, permanently to a tattooist. He is literally branding your body, and it is permanent.
This is a disgusting form of submissive behavior.
Granted there are situations where a tattoo is designed by the recipient and the “artist” is passive, but those are rare.
To make this point: NONE of the art that tattooist brand their donors with would be in any way notable or memorable if it was simply put to canvas. The “art” is the act of convincing somebody to donate their body to this. It’s notable because “I have permanently disfigured my body with this”, but that’s the only reason why. It’s also why tattoos have gone through a progression from a simple bicep tattoo, to full sleeves, chest plates for women, face tattoos, and in the most “interesting” cases, a full blackout of the donors body parts.
Go to a tattoo convention and you won’t see small artistic things (if you could call them that) getting attention or notoriety, you’ll see the treadmill increasingly self destructive things. It’s why tattooism is adjacent to other “body mod”/mutilation cultures, and the further into tattoos you go, the more you converge with the mutilation side.
(To be clear, I have tattoos, I don’t regret them, they are my own design. I just recognize this behavior for what it is)

The reason that this is mocksble is that the leftist fantasy is mostly: everybody else will work for me and I can do nothing, and the rightist fantasy is: I will be able to do as much work as I want to.
Yes stupidity exists inside of both of these, but they’re not equivalents.
“I will be a warlord” is a very different type of fantasy than “I will be a poet”. Both fantasies, both silly, but silly in different ways.
