I don’t unfortunately but it was a key item in an online debate and I committed it to memory. It’s really hard to uncover now, but I’m willing to put good money on the line that this was the factual origin.
Incel in its original context was a “queer” academic woman describing the dating hardships her other weird queer academic friends were having.
What are your PC’s specs?
I routinely saw extremely depraved behavior from supposedly high class people.
What are you talking about here, if you can share?
Don’t do it man, people need you and care about you. Just call a hotline. Tomorrow will be a better day.
If that is a measure of having your life together then I must live in squalor.
Would you say the same about IRC that you do about Discord, had IRC its userbase size?
The easiest solution here, as far as I can tell, is to have different legal regimes for rural life vs. urban life. Let urban life be for the bug-man law-and-order types like me, with a concomitant no-nonsense legal regime, and for the rowdy teenagers and drunkards who are concerned about their mischief falling afoul of that regime, let them go mess around in the rural areas where the legal regime is designed to provide an outlet for the barbarian lifestyle. (I don’t mean barbarian in a negative way, but simply to draw a contrast between that ethos and the cosmopolitan lifestyle I prefer.)
This just seems like a way for the Blues to visit violence on the Reds, harrying the Helots style.
Are you sure your cat doesn’t understand? Mine, when wanting to enter or exit a room with a closed door, would paw at the doorknob in a way that suggest he was attempting to get it to turn like a human would. I think he understood the mechanics.
If the average US man knew what I know after living in a foreign country, it would totally destroy American society.
What do you mean? What do you know?
And TPTB would have no choice but to either share economic power or kill us. (I think the later outcome, and the related idea of Big Yud DOOM, are unlikely for other reasons I can get into if you're curious.)
I am curious, please tell.
That's fair. I don't think children should be "taken away". I think children should be free to go where they want to and systems should be configured such that roaming children remain supported.
And if they all end up on Pinocchio’s Pleasure Island, is that a good thing?
Parents as the only role model and as an absolute force in a child's life is a single point of failure
Single point of failure, are you sure you meant this? It sounds like if there is any failure in the arrangement it is unevenly massively distributed amongst billions of different parents. Rather it sounds antifragile fail-safe against a variety of centralization schemes attempting to improve the human condition.
When you remove parents from the upbringing of children, or at least remove their authority, you likely end up with some state apparatus, perhaps public schooling, which as we see in America there is the potential there for them to transition into groomatories by enterprising trans/trans humanist actors championing, of course what else, “human rights”. This is the single point of failure, not the variety of family life.
Why did you go see a doctor after only a few days? I’ve been coughing up phlegm for five weeks and I haven’t set foot in a clinic.
Amazing. He was completely accurate in his depiction. The hot-air trying to politely talk around this fact is the heat, not his shining a light at the facts on the ground.
Do you golf?
I’m interested in this also. Hope someone can help link this.
Perhaps we will finally realize the importance of community in our lives and to our happiness, and start adding economic numbers and frameworks to those who create social goods. Have the government fund people to run local meetup groups, or help their neighbors with tasks, volunteer at old folks' homes, etc. It's a bit of a bludgeon solution right now, but we could refine things over time.
Didn’t Klaus Schwab recommend this recently? Some kind of caring-based economy, where your social credit is redacted off the blockchain for not being sufficiently homosexual or deferential to the man who mugs you?
I think you replied to the wrong post.
What is that law?
The EPA is making law an elected body can’t overturn? Where and under what authority?
Can you link to those threads?
All sexual abuse accusations against men are false, regardless of his status. #BelieveAllMen, but the inverse if he admits to it - which would only be the case if he has been longhoused so thoroughly that he has developed a false gynocentric consciousness.
So he advocates assenting to sin by making men culpable to their reflexive (if not spiritually informed) disdain for promiscuity in their would-be wives. He’s insightful but I’ll reject this out of hand. I might even risk saying it smacks of therapeutic self-cope like that of the man who directed Clerks with the girlfriend subplot.
Any relationship between this initiative and existing Noahide laws on the books?
