I think that Americans would absolutely lose their shit if we started bombing China at Japan's urging or North Korea at South Korea's urging.
Oh to be clear I'm
A. A lefty who thinks the discourse is stupid outrage farming and
B. Someone who platinumed Returnal.
I was probably always going to buy Saros regardless of reviews as long as the gameplay looked similar, and I'm loving it even though I've only had ~10 hours to put in.
This is probably evidence of Twitter optimizing outrage, but I've seen very little in the way of leftists criticizing Pragmata for it's portrayal of Diana (besides people suggesting that it's just a retread of the appeal of God of War/ The Last Of Us) but several people getting mad that Diana's voice actress is black (e.g. this x post)
I think the controversy of Saros is also pretty ripe culture war, but I should probably get off my ass and write up a full post myself.
How do you figure for Mamdani? He was running against Cuomo, another Democrat, no?
Sure, he pledged to #resist Trump, but mostly in the exact same way that almost every other Democrat has.
I'd say his path to victory was more affordability. If anything, the right made it easy for him to look gracious by constantly calling him a radical Muslim jihadi.
I've encountered several of Justin Murphy's takes before and don't have a very high opinion of the guy, but this actually makes me respect him a little more. Kids are a blast sometimes and kinda boring a lot of the time - I don't have them myself, but I have a lot of experience being the adult cousin and babysitter. I've never had a "blood boiling" internal reaction to hanging with small children, but I've certainly felt like doing something other than engaging with them for eight hours. Sometimes you have to just do the virtuous thing, and it's actually good that he's airing out that he's finding it difficult. It's presumably pretty disheartening to feel like you're the only person in the world who doesn't want to spend a ton of time with your kid, and so it's probably encouraging to learn that someone else is struggling with the same thing but still doing it anyway.
Eh, you're hypothetically in a liberal arts course to learn how to write better.
Seems to me that the paper deserved a D (it engaged at least tangentially with the idea of the assignment, and she didn't turn in a drool stained piece of A2...) I really do think that if the TA had indeed given it a 60 and a "see me after class" Fulnecky wouldn't have had a leg to stand on .
The joke is that she's speaking as she would to a toddler - hence 'gentle parenting.'

Curious as to why you put Mamdani in the ranks of the Latam left.
And demographically, the USA is still something like 60 percent white, yes?
