Not sure where I am going with this comment, but I’m surprised at the number of negative or respectful reactions I’ve seen. Yes, there have been people who are happy, celebrating, or at least unsympathetic about the shooting.
But I’ve also see that the Yankees had a moment of silence for Kirk before last night’s game and that an MTSU administrator was fired for her comments about the shooting. Can’t provide links ATM, and these are just a sample, but I feel like this is a sea change. When was the last time you saw outrage of this level because of something that happened to a conservative?

Is asking questions about a potential project allowed here?
I want to setup a basic home networking/security lab. I have a bunch of old computers, and I have a few years of experience in IT and cybersecurity.
My goal is to have some stuff I can pentest and just generally mess around with to build my skills.
I think I’m just overwhelmed with the options and the different guides out there.
Maybe this is better suited to the Wednesday Wellness thread, but what is a good workout routine for an overweight forty year old man? I actually love lifting. I did power lifting in high school and would love to do the “big four” (bench, squat, deadlift, overhead) in addition to assistance exercises. There are so many plans and progressions out there. It’s overwhelming.
Is Kenneth Gainwell an example of nominative determinism?
Interesting. I wonder if there will be any push from the international community to either boycott or move the Olympics and World Cup. I don’t think it will succeed, but I wouldn’t be surprised at some push for it.

I seem to remember someone on this site posting about a study or studies about how men of husband/father age were the unhappiest and/or most depressed group of people. I think the age range was like 30-55 or something. Anyone know about this? Am I making it up? Can’t seem to find it.
