Personally I think Trump is trolling you. He isn’t really serious about Canada as the 51st state. He knows it pisses you Canucks off (in part because it points out how provincial you are and in part because Canada defines itself as ‘not America’).
Trump thinks Canada has been ripping off the US so he is trying to engage in a bit off a game of chicken to make the relationship more equitable in his mind. Will it work? Who knows.
Note the latest skirmish wasn’t started by Trump but clearly a result of his rhetoric—yet I think Canada lost the exchange. Canadians may be better off simply laughing about the 51st state rhetoric instead of claiming they are being annexed. That’s what you do when someone is trolling you.

Finally the ability to actually communicate amongst your frontlines is crucially important. Elon might play a small part overall but that doesn’t mean there is another person more responsible for saving Ukraine than Elon. I know that hurts to hear because you are balls deep in your hatred of Trump and Elon but the truth can hurt.

Context. Musk was saying “I’m not a Putin stooge—I challenged Putin to single combat and I’m basically the person most responsible for keeping the Ukraine army in the fight so don’t call me a Putin stooge.”

I don’t even know what you mean by drawing a distinction between the content of the post and the intent of the post.
A is like B. Bs are Zs. Therefore seems likely that you are also a Z if you push for A. This is all the more clear when Zs are universally hated.
What other point outside of trying to tar your opponent is there to bringing up Nazis? It is an attempt to poison the well.
Calling the post a fair one suggests you are being way too formal and not understanding the basic nuance here.

It is interesting that two things seemed to have doomed SA: immigration and not having enough kids. Keep in mind the black population in SA is not ancient (in fact the Afrikaans predate most of the black population).
Seems to me there is a message for modern western nations and they are failing it.

Why not have separate countries? My understanding is there are some (or we’re) largely white areas of SA. Why not divide SA in 1994 between the white and non-white?

I actually think his Panama Canal position is reasonable. There was a dumb contract signed by Carter that gave away the Canal subject to certain conditions. Panama violated those conditions. So why shouldn’t the Canal return to US control?

Yeah could be (and that dad is a cuck). If immigrants don’t obey safety laws at the same rate, can’t read signage, or come from a culture that is just bad at driving, then they easily could increase the odds of fatal accidents.
Notably Springfield residents were noting these issues prior to the incident.

That’s what I find interesting with this topic. The European leaders are frequently given a “pass” but despite appearing “very serious” are deeply lacking in any substance. They are empty suits. Vance sometimes says dumb things but he also sometimes talks in details about real things.

Again I think the rhetoric by Trump is peak trolling. He is pointing out Canada’s smallness (they would simply be a 51st state — on par with Wyoming) and picking at Canadian’s reflexive anti Americanness. And the Canadians are falling for it hook line and sinker. Now is the trolling good? I don’t know.
