I have never seen a UFO, and kinda agree with you. That being said, there are totally actual scientists making the podcast circuit talking about aliens. Dr Beatriz Villaruel is one of the more prominent examples.
Their actual peer reviewed publications are much more cautious and conservative, but you also presumably don’t have the advanced degrees necessary to understand them.
