  1. My understanding of rapture theology is that it hangs its stance entirely on a single passage of Thessalonians. If Christianity is a real thing, it seems peculiar that nobody would have noticed that important detail before the 1800s.
  2. In spiritual matters, I advise against teaching something that you do not believe. It doesn't matter how eloquent you are, or how well you argue. These are matters that cut to the human soul. If you can't speak from your own soul, your congregation will know the lie of it in their own.
