Small-Scale Question Sunday for October 18, 2026

Do you have a dumb question that you're kind of embarrassed to ask in the main thread? Is there something you're just not sure about?

This is your opportunity to ask questions. No question too simple or too silly.

Culture war topics are accepted, and proposals for a better intro post are appreciated.

I like tge game, but if you’re not used to turn-based play where you get time to set everything up 4 times and run the play to see what happens, it’s kinda boring and I think it makes the games longer than they need to be.

And if you're not used to Soccer, where there's only maybe three goals a game and another three serious chances and the rest is just cardio, it's boring. And if you're not used to basketball, where leads are transitory and the points barely feel like they matter until the fourth quarter, it can feel boring. Boring is in the eye of the beholder, it's silly to pretend that something that people pay money to watch is inherently "boring."
