I feel like they're blowing their load too early on the Newsom stuff. If the pivot came closer to a primary cycle I'd back it but I feel like he's giving himself too long acting like this without getting boring, cancelled or both

Like 3 reviews one of which is very random

Yep that's the one I was thinking of, thank you. Afaik Scott linked it in one of his articles?

Did that lead to poor governance?

Yeah but Antifa are essentially given soft handling veering on explicit carte blanche by the powers that be.

Also active guerrilla warfare success tends to rely on pre-existing networks of ethnicity, religion, family or whatever else. Plus significant foreign support. You can red/blue tribe all you want but these are ideological causes and not literal tribes.

Americans are not for the most part built like that. Red Dawn arguments are generally a spurious circlejerk.

Makes sense. I've done Jiu-Jitsu for a long time and whilst I've never been out-out I've spent a lot of time being choked in various guises and if somebody's got a clean bite and catches a blood choke perfectly it's blackness oncoming almost instantly. But also plenty of chokes where it's see-sawing the line the whole time and can be minutes of awkwardness

Global Latino belt strikes again

Saw The Lychee Road last night and enjoyed it a lot. The ending drags a tad but it's a solid bureaucracy thriller and I'd give it an 8 or so

Yeah but the medical doctor who's likely spending significantly more time in the company of the hospiced and hospice-adjacent probably has a better bead on this than a layperson.

Can't remember the Scottpost but the stats on medical professionals opting out of end of life interventional care at a highly elevated rate are likely relevant here.

Yeah people massively underestimate how good modern medicine is at prolonging that last 6 months to a year now. My father who's in good shape for mid seventies now had successfully-treated skin cancer a few years ago and some of the people he and I saw clinging to life whilst visiting oncology were medical miracles.

Especially these days when the medical apparatus is increasingly good at keeping people alive when they probably shouldn't be

Yeah but you and the guy writing the above aren't the mujahideen you're Americans who enjoy creature comforts. It'd be three days of chicken tender embargos and you'd be giving your guns up

Does it even have to look like an accident? Surely there's enough dodgy people on in Epstein's circles where if he was gunned down it's ugly but nobody's overly questioning it.

I don't deny their second-class within Israel but is an independent Palestine likely to develop living conditions that are on aggregate better?

If Hamas laid down their arms and initiated an actual unconditional surrender Gaza would likely be a below-median but perfectly functional part of Israel within a decade. Vice-versa hahahaha.

Probably would be some scruples about the orthodox population since they're not the most enthused net contributors

Yes it is? There's a sizeable Israeli Arab population. Cease the nonsense and they'd be better off
