A: there is an such a thing as elite capture, but there is also such a thing as "Dude, nobody fucking likes you". The level of authentic dislike or lack of interest in conservatives and conservative politics people have is wildly underestimated in places like this; right down to me polling my crew of redneck proll tradies over lunch about the transes and the SJWs and the majority answer being a combination of "I don't care" or "What the fuck is that?"
B: So, in an attempt to solve A we switch to a more salient message: these groups are attacking you, destroying your "way of life", the fact that your life is worse than your dads or your granpappys is because of THIS! And that might work in the short run. It will work in the short run, even. But dudes I used to work with and still talk to who fully bought in to Trump style messaging are getting woke to the fact that nothing in their lives improved even with a three branch R sweep; that their boss still buys a new corvette every other year but their kid had to move back in 8 months after moving out or they would end up homeless.
The current problems politicos need to solve are the (1)disintegration of community sentiment and the (2)disintegration of the economic middle; and the strategies of the parties have been to say "Just hold hands and thing happy thoughts and we'll slap a few bandages on it and if you complain about (1) in the wrong tone you have 5 cousin fucking teeth you pathetic FUCK" from the dems, and "(2) is good actually you comunit bitch but actually both are because of immigrants(brown) and the gays but we won't actually do anything about either".
Both major parties aren't attacking the root of the problem, but people notice that the D's attack the symptoms and the R's at least will sympathies with your grievances. Both parties are fucked in the long run if nothing changes, but the R's are fucked sooner because they keep not even pretending to do anything with the policy goals of the bottom of of the top bottom alliance. (except abortion, and look how that's turning out.)

Try a different field, if you like; if the shit you have trouble with in compsci is logic design it's all logic design. There is nothing there but remembering symbols and designing logic.

Modern Christian music as a genera is (ironically) 100% soulless garbage retreads of pop but with all the nono words and impure thoughts stripped out.
There is really good Christian music (Johnny Cash's The Man Comes Around for example); but it isn't categorized as Christian.
That said, there us about 1200 years of really excellent liturgical music to be had if you like choral or classical or bluegrass stylings.

You put out the call and everybody comes; the dudes from the harbor bring block and tackle; the dudes down the valley bring some donkeys, and everybody brings their sweat and you put that shit up.
Working without fasteners isn't actually that much harder for simple structures; it's just much more time consuming.

His problem is he needs to assume some of that trumpian glory and make himself exciting; which will also make people excited to vote against him. Him going full speed ahead on his culture war arc has the libs and the left taking notice; too many photos of empty library shelves and pallets full of books being removed, too much rhetorical light surrounding the don't say gay bill (eg; "its only grades 1-3/5/12/colleges also now) ; regardless of the how fake the whole thing is.
It's all great ammunition, and trump still being around is keeping the spirit alive in the base. I've been at socal wine tastings where the toast was "To trump and bidden: please don't die before 2025".
Basically, in order to inhabit Trump as a spirit totem, he needs to become more trumplike and piss off all the boring lib centrists out there.

The actual young family members I've seen recently all go to CA public schools as we (the extended family diaspora) all firmly believe that private schools are for richie riches or assholes. They are all doing something like whole language learning, and all are way more advanced in all subjects than any of the charter school kids I know (sample size: like 5. Basically worthless).
That said, they share some of my crazed book addict genes so maybe it's a worthless comparison.
That said that said: maybe I'm seeing these shitty results because this is the puritanical version of phonics where you aren't allowed to even look at a complete phrase incase it makes you go into hysterics, where as the public schools in my area are just doing common sense readings of"The Kuh AH TUH in the HUH AH TUH", you know what I mean?

Pretty much all of them: The service is substantially shittier to use in general; and slightly shittier to use from a technical perspective.
The general shittieness has risen to the point where I actually use it much less.
Bluecheck morons getting top billing instead of whoever has the best one liner has killed my interest in using twitter as twitter; I now only use it to follow specific people for updates on scheduled appearances/articles/ FILTHY FUCKING PORNOGRAPHY.
I'm shocked by what a difference this makes. I went from scrolling for a couple mins. each time i checked my feed for the latest incredibly specific porn / current events in the Palm Oil Killings / when is video game coming out to basically never actually going deeper than the very top level of the thread.
He has turned it into a more expensive rss feed for me.

Palestine wonks I know say that kinkos printouts of orders are very unusual; that hamas usually has more informal and deniable chains of command in these situations eg, never never never commit anything to ink or bits that might make them look bad if it comes out. They might have messages saying "Break through at such and such" and then a dude would drop by tell you face to face the level of war crimes they expect out of you.
Native speakers I know say that could either be a machine translated text of some language with weird clauses (not english); or it could just be written awkwardly as all such documents are.

Nah dude, I was old as fuck when I got my degree (at least in comparison) and I know what I like, and that is gems and the institutes thereof and steam engines and classical music. The people around don't need my help in terms of money, they all have theirs; and when they need something heavy lifted or a pipe soldered or a some such they know who to call.

I think you are overestimating Russia's ability to do get anything done on the offensive; which is at least as bad as Ukraines; and that the time limit goes both ways. Maybe Ukraine looses big daddy MICs black card and needs to go back to moletoves and prayers; maybe someone who has a whole new fleet of shiny f-35s coming in sends their old f16 block 40's to Ukrain and suddenly they have a platform that can fire air launched cruismissles well behind the lines; and can be refit to fire the shit that they aren't forbiden from WAY behind the lines.
Basically, I think Ukraine only gets knocked out of the fiight through wearieness, and the Ukrainians are still all about this shit; mainly because they can all speak russian and can watch russian TV. They know if they give up; they are not in for an easy ocupation.
