Way back in the day, when I was first trying to date as a young adult in my college town, I ran into a woman who was nominally part of the "geek/nerd/gamer" subculture of the early 2010s (read: she preyed on geek/nerd/gamer men). She was abusive, manipulative, and a pathological liar. She also used all the progressive feminist lingo of the time. At me. A lot. Because she knew enough about my subculture to know the words that would particularly hurt me and isolate me. The same language that I saw wielded by other women with slightly less-conscious malice, but I still saw as them shitting on their captive audience, because most of their friends were geeky/nerdy/gamer men who would tolerate being shat on. I remember a few months where every woman I tried striking up a conversation with would immediately start talking about rape on college campuses at frat parties, despite our college not having frats, extravagant house parties, or whatever the fuck "greek life" is, and both of us being introverted shut-ins who watched anime.
When I was designated-driver-ing and dropping off the gang at the end of the night, the last person in my car for me to drive home was a short, pear-shaped girl with dark hair who I had wanted to talk to more, but apparently one of my male friends had invited her out for his own reasons, AND she turned out to still be hung up on some third dude, so neither of us got anywhere with her. But I didn't want to drive silently, I remembered she was Supernatural fangirl, I knew OF it, I tried asking her favorite episode.
Her response:
"Please don't rape me."
I had minimal interest in politics way back when beyond "Republicans=Religion, Me=Fedora-tipping Atheist," but I kept noticing that ever since I managed to get out of having to go to CDC, the people who were getting pissy and censorious and kept "won't someone please think of the children"ing me were always Liberal Feminists, and then moved on to being Anti-Racists, and later NB-Queer/Trans-Allies. Noticing that every day I was being entreated to have more and more empathy for whatever group at the time was demanding something (and less and less for myself); Women who wanted to work in "tech" but didn't like computers, women who had transitioned to being (homosexual) men whom actual homosexual men wouldn't date, women and black people and genderqueers who wanted to play Magic the Gathering but didn't feel represented despite the game having all of those things featuring prominently in it since 2002. I remember the first time I was actually called a Straight White Male, in real life. I chortled, and said "Go back to the dumb part of the internet, and take your lingo with you."
Almost ten years later, I'm watching The Imitation Game with a woman I've been casually seeing for a few weeks. I make the mistake of saying "Ah, and here we see Kiera Knightly, yet again reprising her role as a Modern Woman trapped in a Period Piece."
(Which isn't even much of a crack against Miss Swan herself, more gentle ribbing. She was a bounty hunter that one time, after all. It's a similar joke to how DiCaprio's roles have progressed from Ambitious Young Man Torn Between Loyalty and Ambition, to Ambitious Man Undone By His Ambition, to Ambitious no-longer-young-Man Living In The Ruins Of His Life [That His Own Ambitions Ruined].)
This got me a talking-to, about how it was less than a hundred years ago that women were finally allowed to vote, how dare I make light of such an important historical figure. I responded with "And less than 50 years ago, black people couldn't vote. And before 1776, no one could vote, no matter what genitals they had or what color they were. History was shit for everyone until very, very recently."
It eventually devolved into her blaming me for her younger sister not being allowed to wear bellyshirts at school, at which point I said "I should go" and Shep'd out.
What's onerous/dangerous in relationships are people who are infected with an ideological memeplex, or people who have sold out to an ideology; the first type will constantly be mentally coughing on you, the 2nd type will walk on you without a second thought if it advances them up the ranks. It's not about getting along despite having "different politics," it's about having enough self-awareness to notice there's a person across from you instead of a collection of labels, some of which you're allowed (encouraged, actually) to shit on.

Also, an addendum regarding Wokefishing: No, the guy who pretended to be feminist wasn't secretly an alt-right fascist the whole time. He was secretly a NOTHING the whole time, you tard. The only people who can so perfectly comport themselves on-demand into what you want in a partner are empty, predatory husks looking to briefly fill themselves (by filling you).
Every single female character in anything will be called a Mary Sue by someone on the internet, it's a sub-variant of Godwin's Law. There's a decently-sized contingent of internetizens that are just as retarded as the average twitter or reddit leftist calling everything white supremacist, just for the other side.
Also, Mary Sue has drifted a bit. I think that now a colloquial definition of Mary Sue might be "A character that the story treats with favoritism that runs counter to the audience's sense of narrative consistency." The most blatant, elemental mary sues are self-indulgent; they're meant to appeal to the writer, and to no one else. Reading a story about a Mary Sue is like someone inviting you over for sex, but it turns out to just be them wanking then asking "was it good for you too?"
It's slightly unfortunate that every Woman Protagonist Achieving Something That A Man Told Her She Couldnt Do is now called a Mary Sue or Feminist Propaganda or whatever; my sympathy is limited because the feminist propagandists have been pushing Mary Sues for years and saying anyone who doesn't like self-indulgently-written characters just hates women.
In the new Predator movie, I honestly can't tell whether the main character was intended to be a Strong Female Role Model Who Everyone Is Mean To For No Reason, Which Is Why They All Deserved To Die, or a mildly-abrasive tomboy Final Girl. It doesn't help that the scenes in the film intended to show how smart and observant she is instead imply the viewer is an idiot who needs everything spelled out to them. I think of her as Not-Funny Aubrey Plaza.

KF isn't so much Red as a holdout of the old, irreverent internet culture. While I don't actually LIKE KF, I was glad that things like it exist. I didn't hate Tumblr, I thought it was funny until I saw the same stuff in my Facebook feed from real people I knew in real life.
If we're going to talk about Red vs Blue, In a sense the entire Blue Checkmark Cancellation Machine is just KF, but distributed among a mob that gets to feel On The Right Side Of History, and that actually does make an effort to hurt people in real life.

haven't seen the Buffalo shooting posts you're talking about but Kiwi Farms routinely mocks mass shooters. One of their own users (and also Encyclopedia Dramatica admin) was William Atchison, a person obsessed with mass shooters his whole life to the point where he decided to shoot up a school himself - only for it to get unceremoniously stopped by a teacher blocking a classroom door with a couch, before he killed himself. He is forevermore known as "couch cuck" and ever since his death, his user page on the Farms ("FuckYou") is frequently posted on by users mocking and ridiculing him. He is memorialized in one of the comics of the site's background, which depicts him in less than flattering terms (he is stopped in the bathroom by a couch with arms and is dunked into the toilet). Obviously that's an exception because he was one of their own, but in general mass shootings (and fedposting activities in general) are treated as not cool and something only braindead idiots do.
You know, that'd be a really, really good story to be plastered all over the MSM for discouraging school shooters.
I'm increasingly in favor of KiwiFarms. It's like an endangered species, but one of those that's kind of ugly and annoying, like a Yodeling SkunkSnail. Just because something's annoying doesn't mean you can pave over it's swamp to make a strip mall parking lot.
Typically either white, or ambiguously brunette (It's Chicago, so there's lots of dusky women who could be some manner of mexican/puerto-rican/blatino/asianish, or a pretty european woman with a tan, or one of the really olive slavs.) but there were one or two Ask-Me-About-My-Blackness Black women, IIRC.
I find it offensive to my cognition that they have say "I Hate Racists and Racism" right there on the page in addition to "No Whites." How do they themselves not notice the contradiction while typing? I know they think you can't be racist to white people, definitionally, but the arrangement of the words should be enough for them to think "Hmmm, I know there's nothing technically inconsistent here, but maybe I should tighten this up a bit with a re-write". Also, if they hate white people so much, White People = Racist, so they could save space and just say "I Hate Racists," then white people and cops are covered (Oh, but not Cops of Color, dang).
I just don't believe that young women in major metropolitan areas are beset on all sides by legions of MAGA-cap-wearing, Fox-News-Watching, RNC-Attending, Heated-Gamer-Moment-Having young men who loudly bray how much they despise all the mud-people around women they want to fuck. I don't think these statements of preference are honest expressions of frustration, and I'm also annoyed that a guy's profile saying "No Fat Chicks" is treated as a fucking hate crime against women by these same people.
I want a meme or wall of shame or infographic or whatever that's just a compliation of Tinder profiles full of stupid political demands, with captions like:
"#CurrentYear Much?"
"Are you trying to connect with a human, or campaigning for office? Pick one"
"We can Tell What #CurrentThing was When You Last Updated This"
And they'd be well-selected, too. No obvious troll accounts or snapchat/OF bait, serious genuine profiles by people who look on the attractive end of normal. People of both genders. People who look like your friends. People who look like you. Holding up a mirror to people is just about the only "magic bullet" argument for changing minds in the culture war.

At small rural schools, there's often not much else more interesting to do than athletics and AP classes, and classes are small enough for teachers to actually teach the material. Unless there's a "real" ambient culture of thinking learning is dumb and for poofters (seeing a black guy on TV occasionally doesn't count), so you don't see as much segregation of academic performance, athletics, and popularity.

In my last brush with the New Orthodox Woke during the start of the pandemic, the stuff being pushed was Infinite Jest, Waiting for Godot, Blue Velvet, and anything Southern if it was to do with a black person, ideally a black person who had been lynched. Also, they keep saying they love D&D, but then refuse to play because the setting contains racial prejudice.

Most on-the-ground capital-C-communists are in it for the social clout and not for the ideological consistency. Calling the united states a fascist white supremacy makes certain women briefly forget about how much they're supposed to hate men. Calling china and russia those things doesn't get that reaction from college girls, so they don't. They also think that China will rule the world in the future, and they plan to be on China's good side, so they'll avoid saying anything one way or the other for the moment. One or two might be inept enough to let slip some outdated pro-russia content.

My perspective on 4chan is very skewed, because I pretty much only use the /tg/ board, which has a much lower post volume than the other boards, has tighter moderation (by 4chan standards). What it has is CRITICISM. Everywhere else on the internet, people either shill, hugbox, or bait controversy. On /tg/, they nitpick. It's a relentlessly negative place, and an excellent one in which to hone your writing craft.

Sometimes the impression I get from a lot of "content" is that the writers are deeply disinterested in the subject matter of what they're working on. The people involved who are into wokeness insert wokeness, no one else cares enough to stop them.
You don't have to be particularly technically skilled in order to make something be woke; you just need familiarity with wokeness, so it's a great way for unskilled writers to pretend to contribute.

This article popped up on the last android tech news site I still use(d). Someone complained that they could get google-assistant to say the n-word. When we've reached this point, yes, there's something to be gained from reminding people that it's just letters, it has no etymological connection with "niggardly," and entire songs use it as their sole lyric (and performers use it to fuck with fans), and it does not in fact cause people's ears to bleed or small animals to die when spoken.
I think Psilocybin mushrooms work well as a "Have you tried turning it off and on again?"-style solution to mental problems. (no, it won't fix everything, especially not just doing it over and over, but it's worth starting with [before you call IT support], and something you should probably do once every couple months anyways).

I try to arrange my surroundings thoughtfully, like I'm making an enclosure for an animal I want to keep healthy and happy.
Decorations everywhere. An easy trick I found is that costco and walmart will print any damn JPEG you want, and most craft stores have a 40% single-item coupon for a basic black picture frame. The wall behind me includes: The God-Emperor (Of TTSD fame) Enthroned, a map of Middle Earth, some Arvalis Realistic Pokemon Reconstructions, and that scene from the Twitter Hearings with Jack Dorsey, Alex Jones, and Google Glass Guy, touched up with filters to look slightly Rembrandt-y.
Separate sleeping room. I've previously put my bed inside (ventilated) walk-in closets, so I have the entire room to myself, as it were. The bed is ideally in a small dark room with your clothes and valuables and nothing else functional, just a few soft decorations. No TV. The bedroom for sleeping, dressing, and fucking. Your actual room is more like a study; desk, computer, books, small couch/loveseat, hobby stuff.
Water availability. For whatever reason, you need water accessible in a way that feels "special." Just a pitcher of tapwater in the fridge will do the trick; it's more important to drink lots of water than to drink filtered water (unless there's lead in it).
I remember seeing Chicago Tinder in the summer of 2020. I saw lots of bios that indicated that "trump supporters" and people who don't believe "ACAB" would be denied or should otherwise "swipe left."
I also recall quite a few bios stating that they don't date racists, then went on to say "People of Color Only." This left me rather confused, as I've previously been told in real life that People of Color CAN'T be racist, rending much of the text redundant. I was also confused as to why racists would be so opposed to dating racists.
