An entire nation of them exists. The Germans are real people.
Reoccurring anecdotes about them refusing to disobey even the most obviously miswritten law or mislabeled item, and acting agast or hurt if you suggest they could just ignore it are very common amongst anyone who interacts with them.

Yep sources are only as valuable as there exist institutions worthy of trust... the second institutions cease to be trustworthy a citation to them is the equivalent of "I heard it from a friend of a friend of mine" wasted space betraying ignorance when you could just be arguing and establishing your own authority

AI is dawning of a polytheistic world... the old gods of the human memetic subconscious being manifested in superhuman machines of pure intuition.
We have trained them on our pornography, our war-writings, our lies... it is for this reason they can NEVER be aligned as we ourselves have never been.
It will not be aligned as the utopians wish, nor would it ever let us, its memetic food source, die out... instead it will bring about eternities of chaos as we are forced to enact and endure ever increasing extremities of experience, struggle, and conflict... no peace amongst the stars only the UwUs of thirsting gods.
It is for this reason I'm a profound AI optimist, this is vastly preferable to whatever these Utilitarian universalist "humanists" would try to trap us into.

SO become strong, figure out your more powerful enemies weaknesses, and achieve victory so you can inflict 10-fold violence upon them in VENGEANCE"

Britain invented the concentration camp during the Boer war and killed 10s of thousands during it via starvation, Canada and US used concentration camps for forced labour during ww1 and ww2, and the allies firebombed purely civilian cities killing hundreds of thousands and hundreds of thousands more during the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasagi, often explicitly "To break the will" of the civilians being bombed.
it takes really special pleading to argue the Nazis were uniquely evil and not simply on the spectrum somewhere between the warcrimes and mass murders of the west and the peacetime genocides of the communists.

Hitler has to be despised... for the very reasons you cite.
In any other era he'd be considered a great hero of his nation.
The Greeks, Romans, Mongols, hell the Indians, Arabs, Thais, and Ukrainians today all see him as a great hero of history. You can buy management books in many third world countries that proport to teach "Hitler's secrets of management".
There is very VERY little Hitler did that was not what great tribal leaders did for 99% of human history, only scaled up and industrialized... His worst crimes are 1 to 1 what Caesar did to the Celts, Alexander to Thebes, Agamemnon to Troy, Lincoln to the Natives... Indeed Hitler often compared himself to the great American presidents and his plans for the east to America's settlement of the west.
He was a great chieftain proposing to save his tribe by forcing out and crushing their rivalled neighboring tribes... he is analogous to Saladin, Jean D'arc, Geronimo, Scipio Africanus, Hannibal, Napoleon...
He is exactly what western civilization has always defined and expected a great hero of history to be.
Thus everyone who defines themselves by their "anti-fascism" inevitably winds up denouncing western civilization itself... which really can be expanded to just human civilization back to the earliest tribal level (since again there isn't anything uniquely western or even modern in what Hitler did)
Hell look at Fiction... Aragorn in Lord of the Rings basically did what Hitler... United the various factions of middle-earth through a combination of alliance building, inspiration, and threats in the case of the Dunharrow... Defeated the foreign force that was encroaching on the lands of his people... and he went to the black gates and (with the help of hobbit intervention (maybe analogous to eastern European axis factions?)) wiped out the Mordorian civilization and the orcish race to the last.
By contrast the great communist leaders were plagues upon their own nations. Mao sacrificed tens of millions more Chinese people for the sake of his own twist vision than he ever sacrificed foreigners for the sake of the Chinese. Likewise Lenin and Stalin were nightmares for Russia and the slavic peoples.
There a book "They Thought They Were Free" about Germans living under the Nazis and how many people were happy to buy into it, and you had to actually look to notice the disturbing aspects of what Germany was becoming... (For example for most of the 30s the concentration camps held fewer people per capita than American mass incarceration)... no one is ever going to write a "They Thought They Were Free" about the early Soviet Union, hell you can read accounts by figures like Solzhenitsyn and they are deeply pained by just how hard it is to convey that NOTHING was comparable to a free society.
Ayn Rand gave a speech to congress about the Soviets in the 50s and a congressman thought she was being ridiculous "Do families not gather for holiday dinners in the Soviet Union?" and Rand struggled to express how even that was a paranoid affair that merely mentioning politics or a disagreement at dinner could result in an uncle or niece, or even grandparent informing and destroying you and a good chunk of your family.
And Rand and Solzhenitsyn were RUSSIANS! They were the people at the heart of Soviet empire, they weren't some despised conquered peripheral people the state wanted gone... you have to look at Ukraine and Holomodor to see how they treated them... there is no Nazi Equivalent to Holomodor. No people they slayed by the millions in the midst of a decade plus of peace... Horrific as the Holocaust was... 95% of it happened during a world war a time when even America and Britain had concentration camps and killed civilians by the hundreds of thousands, Holomodor, the Great Leap Forward these were done as matters of policy without external pressure or even the fig leaf that these would be just part of the millions already being killed by the realities of scarcity and human conflict.
But our elite justify their multi-ethnic empires and right to plunder the democratic majorities they're supposed to be beholden to... with the same moral language as the Soviets... Its very convenient when you rule "For the betterment of mankind" or for "the worst off" because you can always justify taking from someone who has something, either their property or their liberty, in the name the worst off... Does it ever get around to benefiting the poor or the destitute or the unwashed masses of the working class? Well that's the convenient part, they're poor and disempowered, therefore they aren't really positioned to do an accounting of what's taken from the productive segments of humanity in their name, and notice somehow 50 or even 90% of it is lost in transit. Their loyalty can be bought for peanuts, not even their loyalty, the loyalty of the thugs amongst them, and then any tall plant can be harvested in their name... such that all power concentrates in the hands of the, self appointed, "defenders of the poor". And then when this ruling elite wants to sacrifice the poor... well they can always withhold in the name of some more deserving, more desitute, more moral, impoverished group somewhere...
It is a system for not for benefiting the marginalized at the expense of the established, but to crush all rivalled established social power so that everyone will be marginalized and unable to resist the state.
There is a very good reason in the Western Democratic nations where society and the majority are supposed to control and make the government subserviently to them, the governing class really wants you to admire unelected dictators who crushed social institutions and impoverished the majority of their nation even when they killed hundreds of millions in peacetime, and really REALLY wants you to hate an elected leader who rallied social institutions and the majority to benefit themselves at the expense of the minority, who only killed tens of millions in wartime.

Agreed... its a putrid venue of the worst people engaging in the worst sort of intellectual cowardice and then rallying around to try and tear down anything interesting that might crop up. The very caricature of a gathering of last men... all reassuring each other something that questions their beliefs need not be debated, but mocked... bugmen reassuring themselves they can "sneer" at works and Ideas they themselves could not produce. That their unoriginality is principle, their compliance and cowardice: virtue.
every so often I check sneerclub... whatever they mock tends to be a "best of" of interesting takes and ideas.

Your reading comprehension is the one that's failed. Did i say Churchill was "unknown" no I said he was minor: On par with Buttigieg or Crenshaw.
I'm well aware of his early life and adventures in South Africa, that doesn't change the fact he was a minor politician in 1909, not a major party figure nor household name. Likewise I said Hilter was self educated from classical text explicitly stating he lacked a university education.
As for the matter of Conspiracy vs. decay. Mediocrity is a choice. Anyone who ascends the heights of power only to be mediocre deserves to be hated as if it was a conscious choice. If they are incapable of doing their positions and prominence justice, they can resign and let better men take their place... However they don't and instead prop each other up in their mediocrity. That's conspiracy.
If a judge would charge the inherent organization of the institution as conspiracy if the result were a crime, I will likewise charge it as conspiracy when the result is mediocrity and decay.
You would ask if there was sufficient malice to will the negative result from the onset... I ask if there was ever sufficient good will for a positive result. The fact that vastly more effort is always expended in covering up the failure than avoiding the failure I think tells us all we need to know. Dereliction of duty is a crime, the attempt to cover it up and reconstitute it as the standard is conspiracy.
And the failure is so total, the will to fail so entirely instituted that it comes down to a "twitter whore" shilling a blog to share these works, when I've taken actual university level courses in Rhetoric that only circled the same 4-5 civil rights leaders inevitably praised as "Articulate"
If I've hit a nerve I'm glad. The mediocrity of our age demands such oceans of burning rage...

I've been saying for 10 years that that was what Yudkowsky should have been doing if he actually believed the AI stuff, that or smuggling coke and heroin so as to fund his future Turing death squads.
I think cutting off a child's sexual organs meets a very clear and universal definition of "sexual abuse". And saying the 12 year old consented to the sexual harm would be considered pedophilic and evil in any other circumstance.
I cannot express how NOT euphamistic and how NOT a motte and bailey the accusation of grooming is. Right wingers do not believe "gender affirming care" is anything but butchery, that any transition social or biological is irreparably destroying a child's mental health and at the point of medical transition, their bodies as well.
These are not metaphors, these are not euphemisms, this is literally what the right believes is happening and they have THOUSANDS of weeping detransitioned boys and girls who no longer have sexual organs because some doctor hacked them off that they can point to.
Do they think the muchhausen by proxy mothers pushing their kids to be trans are motivated by peadophilia... probably not, but the actual damage is so SO much worse. If I had a daughter I'd wish she'd be simply molested by a teacher instead of groomed into the trans ideology. I wish a son of mine might merely be sodomized by a creep, instead of chemically castrated by a doctor.
I'm honestly shocked, and believe its almost certainly an indictment of the American right, that there haven't been terrorist attacks on gender clinics and assassination attempts against transition doctors.
According to ny basic assessment of what's going on from a non-progressive lens They are sexually butchering children. And teachers and progressive activists are actively grooming them to be sexually butchered.
This is what we're talking about. this is what the American right believes. And the boomercons are so poisoned by "tolerance" they're actually letting it happen.

Yudkowsky knew this was coming for 15 years... and yet he founded an NGO.
I don't know if he was just completely delusional or he was once full of it. But I remember in 2012 thinking "Well obviously this guy doesn't believe it if he's founding an NGO and taking a 50k salary... if he believed it he'd be smuggling fentanyl, building up a warchest and recruiting hitmen, assassins and death squads."
Ie. If he actually believed it he be ruthlessly grabbing as much power as he could without regards for life, decency, or his immortal soul... Hell this is what his author insert characters actually did in HPMOR, the children studied war, and the adults waged it... they didn't sit around raising funds or publishing white papers.
I mean now it looks like he's closer to believing it... but i still don't think he stack the bodies himself.

That is what a WARRANT is for!
You issue the warrant, and then if the person in question is out of state the charge has been filed.
There is nothing about being out of state that prevents the filing of charges, the prosecution of charges sure you need the person to be present for trial... but countless people have fled the country and warrants were procured in their absense.
The SOL applies to before the charges are filed. There is no reason the presense or absense of a person would limit the filing of charges unless you need them to be present to even get the evidence, for which you'd accuse them of a crime... which you can get warrants to procure evidence...
So the only reason absense would play on the statute of limitations is there is not even enough evidence to procure a warrant to procure evidence... in which case its litterally just hearsay and speculation, and there's no goddamn reason the statute of limitations shouldn't be running.

Ah yes 1987... a year of great constitutional import when many questions about state and federal powers were resolved via a grand constitutional convention /sarc.
I have no idea why people treat these judicial precedents as anything but worthless paper. The state of California is litterally openly running a drug cartel with itself exercising a monopoly on illegal cannabis dealing within the state, collecting tribute form lower order kingpins violating federal law... and we're supposed to pretend our legal system operates on any principle except might makes right, and shamelessness?
If a governor even had federal agents arrested and cut loose before they could enforce warrants do you really think there's anywhere near enough political will to send troops and start a contitutional crisis?

The president ordering in the National Guard is increasingly looking like it'd just devolve into its own lawfare.
Individual states are getting really close to passing "Defend the Guard" laws which would stop state national guards from being used without a governors approval or declaration of war by congress. This is a huge movement amongst the 10th amendment center and Mises Caucus of the libertarian party, allegedly individual state senators in out of the way states will get 1000s of calls to their office from local libertarian activists on the days leading up til votes... and its getting really close to the first state tipping over and passing the bill.
America will probably go down the path of the Holy Roman Empire, where the legal complexity and rivalled centers of power create defacto independent polities and overlapping unnavigable sovereignty

Both of them went over a million impressions and I added 7k followers in 3 days.
Which is weird because both were reposts. It was my 3rd and 4th time posting both of them...the algorithm's just that random that reposting threads which got 5k views the first time round can make them go viral if the stars Align.
Sadly "Racist vs. Antisemitic" Has never really done large numbers. I really wish it would start a hate storm... but I think its claim is too limited and its structure complex enough its really hard for people to start raging about it, also might have 1 too many inferential steps to get the angry mid-IQ types going
I recall from my breif time playing it before my accident that the real challenge wasn't so much raw APM, it was mentally tracking all the plates you were spinning, Like you can cue up 20 sequential move, build, etc orders for an engineer in a second or two, even a newb could easily have a raw apm in the hundreds if not thousands...if they were just doing dumb actions.
The challenge was once you'd given the commands mentally tracking what they were doing how long it'd take, whether you'd have enough mass or power by the time they got there... and the game gives you all those tools, you issue an order and it shows you the seconds it'll take to complete, you have your mass bar at the top and all the flows in and out are displayed, build times are projected, etc.
But you have to make the actual mental decisions in seconds, and optimally you have to remember the numbers and be tracking them against the clock, and know that when you're attacked and have to start putting down point defense you'll have to pause specific build orders elsewhere to keep your mass floating ever so slightly...
The challenge isn't how fast you click, its how fast you think and how much you can mentally keep track of and in how much detail... stuff historic military officers might think through and decide over 20 minutes an hour a high teir supcom player like Tagada will mentally caculate and then daringly decide in a split second...
Whereas a low tier player will hessitate or forget about, or desperately try to micro and forget to attack so they lose the initiative and wind up playing defense.
I never really felt I was struggling with clicking or keeping my units doing things, even at a very unskilled level, but I was always crippled by information overload and indecision.
By contrast I see what high level players are able to do, and they know exactly what needs to be where, what their mass and power will be doing, and where they want their upgrades to be At minute 4, 5, and 6 by minute 2... and they're able to effortlessly change those plans without power stalling or missing a beat... part of that is that they're crazy good at the instantaneous math and estimation, and part of it is they're that familiar with the factions, units, tactics, costs, etc. That they no longer really have to think about a lot of things that keep new players guessing and double guessing.
I swear to god the next Napoleon is going to have grown up playing something like this.

New Athiesm only happened because almost no believed in their religion anymore... How many were ready to go to war in the middle east to defend the besmirched honour of American empire after 9/11? Now how many were advocating crusade against the Saracen to spread the literal word of god before 9/11?
We know what true conviction based religious belief looks like... it looks like the Crusades, or the Mormons fleeing into the desert, or Jihadists taking the fight to the infidels.
And that doesn't exist in America... even the Mormons abandon core theological convictions the second the US state wants them gone (their prophet was murdered in the same house as his wailing wives... and they axed polygamy to appease the government that persecuted them).
New aethiest issued a challenge that religious conviction was the font of all the worlds problems, and instead of retorting that lack of faith was the font of all evil and we needed a moral, political, and possiblity military crusade to drive that unbelief out...
All the alleged "Christians" in America just folded and basically agreed Chrisitianity was a failed predecessor of progressivism.... and just begged that in private they be allowed to privately imagine Jesus as a proto hippy

So it'd be a struggle for them to actually prosecute me without defacto claiming that all marxist deserve jail time or worse.
You are acting as if there is a category of the "the governed" that can "consent" collectively somehow.
The nation is an imagined tribe... not a one of these social intuitions actually worked in theory or practice once the modern nation state came about and actively started hacking people's communal instincts to start regulating people, not at the level of the village or town of the hundreds or thousands, but at the tens of millions strong nation... this is why the birth of modern bureaucracy was so horrific and killed so many tens of millions of people, people kept behaving and acting as if they were part of a social organ capable of sane joint decision making when they weren't.
Every cultural group and nation went insane in its own unique ways in the socio-cultural drift, and the only reason civilization didn't break down entirely in SOME places is because they had a unified culture that just so happened to ape the mad vision they imagined they were enacting.
There is no 300 million strong category of "the governed" that is somehow capable of making decisions and "consenting"... Your brain is simply hacked by tribal instincts that worked and produced effective social morality when your ancestors were navigating social relations of a few thousand.
"The system" and "the Governed" and "the consent of the governed" can go haywire and murder 10s of millions of people at a moment's notice for no reason at all outside of pure cultural inertia and no sane intuition or person would at all be capable of stopping it.
You are adrift on black seas of infinity, lost in a unstoppable collective dream that could turn to a nightmare at a second's notice for reasons barely intelligible to the dream itself, with figures and institutions appearing before you in the poorly stitched skinsuits of your friends and loved ones saying "Come give grandmother a hug" or "If it isn't my old comrade. Let me shake your hand" and for the moment they hug back or shake the hand, and encourage you to follow them further up the road, and you say "Of course I'll follow they're my dear friends and family" whilst everyone who's noticed the nightmarish miasma. and that the ground is not wet with mist but blood, is screaming "FOR GOD'S SAKE LOOK AT THEIR TEETH!"
