I’ve been banned 23 separate times (I just checked) and that doesn’t count the immediate auto ban based on IP.
Which says a lot about me of course.
It’s just a story about the ideological drift of the entirety of the internet from libertarian to progressive.
Anyone that can navigate that sort of mind field over the last decade has my respect.

Buddy and I watched Raid II and then took a lunch and watched Winter Soldier in theater for both. Should’ve done it the other way - still one of my least favorite comic book films.

If AGI is real, and it’s really less than a decade away or whatever, won’t ‘ it ‘ just magically make all these issues null with its magnificence?
I have trouble understanding what I’m supposed to believe when it comes to AGI.
More directly to your post - we go to space because we can. A society that stops exploring, stops progressing (imo). We need to keep doing new and interesting space stuff, maybe colonization isn’t there yet, but we should be heading to the moon with the idea to plant a tree there.

I was single for almost 12 years.

We can’t quibble about the word attacking here - their neighbors are the aggressors and Israel has been on the defense since its inception.
Also it’s a war - they aren’t pushing millions of Arabs out of their homes.
Just an add on: if you want to read a book where the setting is psychiatry by a very Americana author with a wide array of interesting, hipster leaning books to his credit, read this:
