I don't think any one random guy is gonna be stopped all that often, and if he is, oh well he can just have his ID ready. Not exactly a large cost to society. Seriously whatever moral feeling you're having here isn't universal or assumed, you still have to give actual reasons why bad things are bad.

There's going to be a more or less normal election between Vance and Newsom (or whoever) and the only real legacy of Jan 6 will be how the Democrats cried about it for four years straight and their only reward was to lose every single swing state and the popular vote in 2024.

This is like a cargo cult parody of one of those threads where professional coders compare their experiences using LLMs at work, but the other night I wanted to edit a save file related to an obscure hobbyist roguelike and couldn't figure out how to accomplish my goal, so I let the default free version of Grok have a crack at it.
It couldn't quite solve my problem for me within my 20 free questions, but it got me close enough that I was able to figure out the rest myself. I'm actually kind of impressed. The game is on github and has a certain amount of conversation surrounding it, but what I wanted to do wasn't standard practice, and the save file format is just a txt full of bespoke gobbledygook so it's not like its training data was full of examples.
It really had to sit down and think for a few minutes to get as close as it did, and to be honest I think part of the problem is that I had made some incorrect assumptions about the aforementioned gobbledygook format that I sort of foisted on to it.
Overall I'm pretty pleased with what they give away for free these days.

Here was me thinking GDPR, massive pain in the backside though it is, was to prevent data scraping and turning customers into commodities by selling every single jot and tittle of information you hand over to these companies.
No one has ever explained how this actually hurts me or why I should really and truly give a shit. Meanwhile Europe is now a tech backwater with no real way to affect the world it's awash in other than to issue fines.

The null hypothesis is that racial intelligence differences do not exist.
There is not, currently, sufficient evidence to refute the null hypothesis.
When it comes to people in general who hold this position, you know, fine, it's not my business what they believe. But I absolutely do not want to hear from them their own (inevitably far more tenuous) theories regarding racial achievement gaps and the like. They can just sit back and be baffled, and if anyone asks them what to do about it, throw their hands up in the air because they have no idea.

I for one think you should go out like a man, come back from your temporary ban, and escalate to permanent ban with a single post if you can. Show us what you're really made of, make them forget your entire "history of AAQC" instantly. Obviously post nothing legally dubious, just something so odious it makes the moderators shriek like emotionally wounded apes as they banish you forever. Preferably not just a torrent of slurs or something either, as that's just sort of cheating.
I don't think they think you can do it. I think they think they're ultimate Vulcan logic masters, and that any fuck you post that you post will maybe just get you like a week-long ban while they wait for you to either chill out or not.

At this point for the rest of the world the question we ask the US is simple: Are you willing to pay us more than China etc. is for our loyalty and support? How much more are you willing to spend to avoid getting globally humiliated as your allies desert you en masse? The door is that way if we don't like your answer.
Listen man, we all know you really mean Europe here, which means you probably ought to rephrase this as a plea for the US to reconsider what good economic sense it makes to not be so mean to you. You aren't marching off the field with your spears, you threw your spears away and will implode into street fights over welfare before you can ever raise a real army from a domestic youth made up of Muslim immigrants and disaffected whites.

One thing that helps us here is that people at large don't like ads.
They also don't like it when the entire internet implodes and the parts that are left suddenly all cost money. It's one thing to fantasize about what you'd do if you were absolute dictator, but if you're involving public opinion in this game then it ends with you being tarred and feathered.

Total aside, but assuming there are no aliens, I'm having a hard time explaining the behavior of certain elements of the American defense establishment on this subject, and I think other people are too. When you see discussion of why they might want us to think there are aliens, you hear a lot of what amounts to "CIA doing drugs again? IDFK" which... sure, but you can say that about any weird happening, and the effort involved here is more than casual.
Yeah it's not that the Dems squandered all their credibility running a corpse and then swapping him out for a cackling incompetent who wants to make sure illegal immigrants get their gender surgery. It's definitely this cool sounding thing that soothes your wounded butt.
e: Amanda seems to get sore specifically when I call Biden a corpse for some reason. Are they one of the dumbfucks who didn't immediately know the guy was totally out to lunch from day one? I'm gonna go hunt this just for my own edification.
