I went to Home Depot recently. I hadn't been in a while. Shocking how much was locked up. The installed metal gates across many shelves. For the most part not even that expensive of stuff. But I know that the organized shoplifting gangs target them in particular, do they're presumably responding sensibly.
OliveTapenade is correct to question the validity of "demographic replacement" of white Americans by Koreans. I mean: trying to catastrophize Costco selling kimchi or a few Korean restraunts opening.
I'm sure the Hyundai plant has Koreans in it. Those (hundreds?) of immigrants aren't "replacing" us.

Never heard of Dread Jim. Based on your summary of his views I recommend he move to the country that has at least partially embraced his ideals. I'm talking of course about Iran.
Googling their TFR shows they have fewer children per woman than the US. I guess executing gay guys didn't help.
Operation Choke Point. Also the Biden administration leaning on social media to censor inconvenient truths. There's more than a little government coercion hiding behind the mask of private companies making internal decisions.
Operation Choke Point was an actual conspiracy to unbank people in just that manner. They made sure to coordinate it using in-person meetings and to not document anything in order to frustrate possible investigations into their actions. Like a band of criminals. It is insidious.

I would say the opposite. An escalating purity spiral could result in which people keep one upping each other in how extreme they are and punishing those who don't keep up. Like the worst parts of the Cultural Revolution.

"No enemies to the left" typical American liberals and progressives passively keep quiet while extremists and the woke wage culture war. Then fight like cornered animals when conservatives push back. Wokeness is indeed illiberal and modern self described "liberals" are its chief enablers.
Not of course principled classical liberals. But they are an endangered species with little in common with modern common "liberals".

For what it's worth: a trans person on reddit told me that Donald Trump winning the last election means they will be murdered by the military within a few months. That was around election time a few months ago. That's one example of the sort of hysterical rhetoric common among some online transpeople. I don't even go to trans subreddits, this is only me observing generic political subreddits.
Hard to exaggerate how much overly online transpeople are whipping themselves into a frenzy. Certainly not improving their mental health.

I saw a video in which a couple guys joined a Mexican cartel and then stole from it. The video starts with one stating his crimes against the cartel. Then he is cut apart with a chainsaw.
So yeah, if you or I tried this the mules would rip us off. What are you going to do, sue them?
When actual criminal organizations do this mules are held accountable for the valuables they are entrusted with. The knives and chainsaws come out when something goes "missing".

My insurance charges all policyholders enough to pay on average $2000 for this procedure, or a copay of $2000 if we are imagining patient out of pocket. I’d say that’s rather the point of insurance. There’s some tiny chance of true financial disaster and they charge all of us a bearable portion of that small chance.

That last one was shockingly bad. Confusing how they could make such a thing. I almost recommend watching it just to feel baffled at every turn. It is a unique movie experience in that sense.

Such a good example. In the second most recent Star Wars movie they had a dyed-hair girlboss talking down to a fighter pilot saying the last thing they need are any more “trigger happy fly boys” … in their ongoing ship vs ship combat. The writers repudiating the spacefighter dogfighting aspect of Star Wars. Something that hypes boys much more than a disapproving HR manager talking down to a combat pilot for being too high-T.

Very roughly: If there is an opportunity to give black people a majority black district, then it is required to do so. The American south has lots of black people. Some of whom packed into gerrymandered districts giving them black congressional representatives. This is “good” gerrymandering required by law.

Indeed. My employer forbids us from using common LLMs. That would involve giving them our proprietary information. We can only use pre-approved entirely internal LLMs. These are on our hardware.

I work in an office building. There are a few open office sections with many employees in each one. At least two have pride flags. We design electronics and software for said electronics.
A local restraunt has outdoor seating with a pride banner wrapped around the barrier separating it from the public sidewalk. It must be hundreds of feet of the stuff. I met the owner and as best I can tell he isn't gay. The clientele are the regular mix of people in the area. Not a gay venue by any means. But inexplicably covered in pride.

But not every cultural reference needs to be explained. You understood his post, except for one reference tacked onto the end. And that's fine.
There's literally billions of them. 85k get H1B visas per year. With a barely working filter we should be able to skim the cream. And yes, complaints abound about how we don't always get obviously exceptional people. They somehow found a way to screw up this much selectivity.
Working now at a major tech company, the foreign born engineers are pretty capable. They did something right.
