What is the executive even allowed to do here? Does the law let the president turn off the tap?
Congress is so passive that presidents end up enacting policy through rather strained interpretations of existing law. The law says they get to impose processing fees? Then instead of $250 it is $100k. And then hope courts agree this is valid.

I'd go further and let them take any job at any employer. Assuming the new employer will sponsor them. I think tying people to their jobs is generally bad. And if the market determines such a person is suited for a different job title with more or different responsibilities then they should be allowed to do it. The fact that they have to ask bureaucrats for permission to professionally grow by accepting new job titles with more or different responsibilities is horrible.
For instance, supposedly decades ago Massachusetts' enforceable non-compete contracts slowed their tech industry growth and resulted in California overtaking them. Locking employees into their jobs is enforced stagnation and yet another scheme to push down wages. Such contracts were greatly restricted in scope in 2018 and completely banned last year. Good riddance.

I can talk about the true reasons in polite society: it undercuts wages and makes an underclass of workers who effectively cannot leave their jobs. It is an attack on the wages of a subset of professional workers.

Yes. I recall long ago seeing early youtube videos about doctors detailing Israeli atrocities. Turns out they were fake and the doctors were lying. This has been somewhat common for a couple decades that I'm aware of.

Shots so precise they choose which body part gets the bullet consistently correct and the kids are surviving day after day racking up bullet wounds? And we're to credulously believe this?
This tells me little about Israeli snipers and much about the credibility of de Volkskrant. Rather puts a stink on other similarly crazed stories. But maybe those other ones are true and this happens to be a single deranged lie smuggled into a list of true stories. Maybe.

Visas are a privilege with many restrictions. These people have no right to be here and can enjoy celebrating the murder of Americans in their home country. We don't need them to do that here.

They played a bunch of clips of him on the radio yesterday. Not his "gotcha" "dunking on libs" stuff but instead him compassionately talking to trans people and talking about the importance of faith. Stuff like that. There's so much content from him that it's easy to get a collection of kind and thoughtful sentiments.
I think the reason some media networks are not playing such clips is that for example he listened to a distressed young woman with gender confusion asking about how young of children should be given HRT and he advised her to seek counseling rather than take hormones. Thoughtfully and compassionately. That kind of talk ain't allowed on MSNBC.

He died a bit afterwards from an unrelated health issue.

Even under segregation black people rode the bus. A black schizophrenic standing up and knifing a white woman in front of him would be equally viable under racial segregation. I don't accept the general premise and particularly don't accept it for this example.
There's literally billions of them. 85k get H1B visas per year. With a barely working filter we should be able to skim the cream. And yes, complaints abound about how we don't always get obviously exceptional people. They somehow found a way to screw up this much selectivity.
Working now at a major tech company, the foreign born engineers are pretty capable. They did something right.

What a coincidence. Detergent is locked up where I live also.
I went to Home Depot recently. I hadn't been in a while. Shocking how much was locked up. The installed metal gates across many shelves. For the most part not even that expensive of stuff. But I know that the organized shoplifting gangs target them in particular, do they're presumably responding sensibly.
OliveTapenade is correct to question the validity of "demographic replacement" of white Americans by Koreans. I mean: trying to catastrophize Costco selling kimchi or a few Korean restraunts opening.
I'm sure the Hyundai plant has Koreans in it. Those (hundreds?) of immigrants aren't "replacing" us.

Never heard of Dread Jim. Based on your summary of his views I recommend he move to the country that has at least partially embraced his ideals. I'm talking of course about Iran.
Googling their TFR shows they have fewer children per woman than the US. I guess executing gay guys didn't help.
Operation Choke Point. Also the Biden administration leaning on social media to censor inconvenient truths. There's more than a little government coercion hiding behind the mask of private companies making internal decisions.
Operation Choke Point was an actual conspiracy to unbank people in just that manner. They made sure to coordinate it using in-person meetings and to not document anything in order to frustrate possible investigations into their actions. Like a band of criminals. It is insidious.
So strange that Chapo Trap House is popular. I tried listening to a couple episodes and it is egregiously bad in every aspect.
