Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, and multiple mainstream news outlets have all referred to her as such at one time or another. Most recently NBC and the Huffington Post when reporting on the big necklace she wore to the Inauguration. Im still not clear on why exactly the necklace was newsworthy but there you go.

You're missing my point. Race in the US is not a physical phenomenon it is a cultural one. We all recognize this on some level which is how people like Pelosi are able to talk about "whites" without including themselves or refer to Kenti-Jackson as the first "black" supreme court justice without a hint of irony. Its the background assumption behind Biden's bit about how you aren't really black if you vote rebublican. We know that when people talk about "black" they aren't talking about people of sub-Saharan ancestry, they're talking a bout a specific sort. Do you follow?

I think and the op need to define what you mean by the "online right" then because if we are not talking about the set of right-wingers who are online, who are we talking about?

That the OP's supposedly "exhaustive and well researched" list completely ignores most of the red and libertarian aligned internet is one of those "ommissions large enough to drive a national election through" i was talking about.

I agree.

Hard to say, the bits about NRX, and HBD seem reasonably accurate as far as i can tell but several other cases of which i have direct knowledge include basic errors such as describing "y" as preceding "x" when the inverse is the case. The real killers however are the ommissions.

For example, the bit on "the manosphere" makes no mention of ROK, Bachelor Pad Economics, or MGTOW, (ie the most influential voices/platforms within that space) and instead just quotes Curtis Yarvin and some random feminists describing how the manosphere is not worth engaging with.

By the same token, any taxonomy of "the online right" that ommits arfcom/guntube, the Petersonian new-stoics, the Jocko-types, the Bundy-bros, the HEMA crowd, the trad cons, the crunchy libs/homesteaders, and the various Limbaugh and Brietbart succesors that comprise the pajama/moronosphere is ommitting something like 95% of online right-wing activity by volume.

In other words, if you eliminate all the sincere right wingers who are online from your definition of the "online right" its only natural that only grifters will remain.

Pete Hegseth, Marco Rubio, and JD Vance to name a few. Plus the fact that Eugene Volokh and the rest of his buddies at the Federalist Society have already gotten to pick three Supreme Court Justices and will likely get to pick another two (if not more) before the end of the decade.

The core argument they seem to be making is that, having narrowed the definition of "online right" sufficiently to exclude anyone who might have voted for a republican in the last election, they can now prove that the right is poweless to resist the left.

Please ignore the fact that prominent movers and shakers within the online right from 10 - 15 years ago are now occupying positions of real concrete power.

I skimmed John Artcot's "Factions of the Rightosphere" and found it riddled with basic factual errors and ommissions large enough to drive an national election through. That this "Academic Agent" character believes it to be "exhaustive and well researched" immediately casts everything else that they (and by extension you) have said into doubt.

we are and have been running in the direction of more identity politics rather than less.

And you believe that this is a good thing?

I suppose that begs the question, do you sincerely believe in the superiority of the white man or do you not?

Because if you do, a truly colorblind meritocracy will get you 90% of what you say you want for free, as the cream naturally rises to the top. Sure the occasional woman or Negro may rise to power on thier own merits but that is hardly a insoluble problem, and arguably not really a problem at all.

I would suggest to the white nationalists that, within their own framework, right now is precisely the correct time for white nationalists to quietly disappear.

And a cynic might be inclined to believe that this is precisely why they won't.

The sudden signal-boosting of voices claiming that "in order to defeat wokism we must embrace wokism" in the wake of Trump's win reeks of left-wing entryism/controled opposition.

Because we aren’t there and are rapidly running in the opposite direction.

And what you are saying is that we should run faster?

That instead of pushing back against the identitarian left we should instead embrace thier values as our own?

Sounds to me like it's you who is pushing for "unilateral disarmament", not @justmotteingaround.

No they are not pointless, and any one who sincerely desires a system of "white advocacy" is going to have to grapple with that fact for all the reasons @Hoffmeister25 lays out below.

We live in a world where nobody outside of academia and weird autists pays any attention to physiognomy. When people like Taylor Lorenz, Nancy Pelosi, or Karen from the Atlantic talk about dismantling white privilege they aren't talking about dismantling thier own privilege, they're talking about dismantling the privilege of a certain sort. The sort who isn't with the program, the sort who likes sports and country music more than he should, the sort who will put cheese and steak sauce on everything but wont put his pronouns in his email. It turns out that the catagory of "white" includes a lot of blacks which is how a this man ended up as "the face of white supremacy" on the West coast despite being darker than most of the youths in your picture.

Did Scott actually put in effort or did you just not look at it too closely because it wasn't your ox getting gored?

It doesn't sit well with people not because of "the propaganda" but because identity politics of all stripes is deeply unpopular outside the professional managerial class and (in the US at least) remains closely associated with Marxism and Europe. Two things that are also less than popular.

Identity politics in the popular zietgiest is seen as an ideology for losers who wouldn't make the cut in a honest meritocracy, hence the popular epithet of "Didn't Earn It" applied to all DEI hires.

The way the identitarian right presents itself does them no favors either. What incentive would a sincere American white supremacist straight out of the movies have to associate with low testosterone edgelords chanting "your body my choice" and non-binary cat-girls from Ontario writing Hitler apologia. How does aligning with such losers and degenerates do more to secure a future for his children than aligning with MAGA?

To be clear, which claim was I being punished for? Haitians lacking the ability to understand hypotheticals, or writers for the New York Times lacking the ability to understand other human beings as agents?

Being a capable operator doesn't exlude someone from the category of "grifter" the most successful grifters often are quite capable.

The fuck have you ever showed a iota of care about the Flag Code?

since it favored our side to do so, [something about arguments as soldiers.]

Maybe, but I've read too many retarded takes from ostensibly intelligent people in the last year to not suspect something deeper behind it.

Have pardons ever been realistically used as a political check against other branches like this?

Yes, just now.

I was not aware of this, and it actually makes a fair bit of sense.

But it is also exceptionally bad optics to have the families of J6ers showing up at the city jail to take thier people home only to be threatened with arrest themselves.

I am increasingly coming to believe that a sizable portion of the professional managerial class is simply less nuerologically developed than most ordinary people.

Lacking the experience of agency they lack ability to percieve other humans and animals as agents and as such are unable to develop a coherent theory of mind even if/when they are able to recognize the need.

To "really consider strategically quieting down" they would first have to recognize the strategic benefits of quieting down. To do that they would first have to have some awareness of how their behavior looks to an outside observer, which in turn requires the internal concept of an outside observer. It is this internal concept that appears to be missing in a lot of discussions.

In much the same way that Scott alleged that Haitians lack numerancy and the ability to understand hypotheticals, I allege that a lot of the PMC (including Scott) lack the capacity to understand how or why somone might react differently to you based on your prior behavior.

The Newsweek article says nothing about D.C. fighting the pardons

True, but it does corroborate claims being made by more "deplorable" sources about how those in pre-trial confinement are still being held.

The world wonders.
