I mean, that's why the meme specifies backwards and contemptible, right? But I've never seen any kind of progressive find anything admirable in any kind of belief that isn't their own. Even if you argue they share a basic nature, I just don't think I've ever seen that kind of engagement in good faith in practice. It is almost always naked and cynical attempts at manipulation.

I think the thing you're missing is that the assumption of engagement in good faith is just not there on either side. It's nakedly a manipulation tactic; it fails for exactly the same reason that "the left are the real racists because of the racism of low expectations!" fails. Shitting all over someone's beliefs day in and day out and then abruptly talking out of the other side of your mouth and appealing to those beliefs because you can squint and contort and twist them to align with something you want that is obviously not in the other person's interest is contemptible.

No, they just straight up don't exist for many of us.
I'm a regular in a shitload of gay bars in my city and the only masks I've seen anyone wearing are biker or furry masks depending on the genre of man.
I don't know of anyone I could feasibly ostracise. I have been asked for my pronouns like, twice in 6 months, and both times my response was "use your eyes dude" and no more was said about it.
Among gay dudes, at least, this shit does not exist. Trans and lesbians may differ. I don't know where they hang out. Raves, I suspect. I periodically get updates about trans lesbian polycule drama from a friend and it sounds exhausting.

This is a microcosm of exactly why even if I agreed with them on something, I would never stand with or support such ardent leftists on any topic, even to my detriment. The people highlighted in the original article and in your comment are so thoroughly tedious and fundamentally unlikeable that I will voluntarily self-harm in order to spend as little time around them as possible and retard their political movement's growth as much as I can.
And you're right, it is utterly impossible to explain to them how much damage they are doing to their causes by being so completely insufferable that it actively turns people against them. Because their reaction will simply be "good".
The reason for this is that such people, I suspect, are not in it for the cause, not in it to make any real positive changes or to support the operation of a local bar. They're in it to feel good about themselves. And what makes them feel good about themselves is shouting people down, asserting power and authority over them, and "making a change", even if that change is wrecking things for everyone else.

Yes. It's the argument they're making when they deny that the dogged insistence on using the term "toxic masculinity" in specific and their steadfast refusal to even entertain alternative terminology isn't an attempt to marry the concept of masculinity to being inherently toxic, but that they are only criticising the toxic aspects of masculinity.
You know, like how if you turned on the car radio and it started playing One Direction, and my response was "ugh, I hate shitty pop music" you'd naturally assume that I ordinarily love pop music and I'm only singling out specific bands in particular, and definitely not talking about the genre as a whole.

Just in the last hundred years Greeks, Italians, Slavs, Irishmen went from distinctly "other" to "white" to all but the most dedicated haters.
I wasn't alive a hundred years ago, so their categorisations mean nothing to me. I'm not inheriting their ideology, I'm not defining myself by their beliefs. That their beliefs bear superficial resemblance to mine doesn't matter at all to me.
What I am looking at is the reality of keeping these pet minorities around. The culture they bring with them, the habits they cling to, the enclaves they form to avoid dispensing with any of those things. The relapses their subsequent generations have when they "rediscover" their roots and reabsorb all the worst parts of their ancestral cultures. I look at these things and I see no benefit to myself or the people I care about, so I want them gone.
I don't want Indian hygiene culture in my nation. I don't want the Indian work culture of just lying about things. I don't want interethnic rivalries on my streets. I don't want to hear word one about Israel or Palestine or Pakistan or Somalia or any of those; nobody here should even be able to point to those places on a map. And I equally don't want minorities wearing my culture like a skinsuit, partaking in my traditions as if they're their own, I don't want to see ethnics morris dancing while the media propagandises to me about how they're the new face of Britain, just as British as me, these people who washed ashore five years ago, while I can show you my family name on war monuments and in town hall records and point out buildings my grandparents helped build. It is gross, debasing propaganda intended to humiliate.
It is simply not my problem that their forefathers weren't capable of building countries worth a shit; that doesn't entitle them to mine.
We can eliminate racism by simply removing the other races.

I've seen much more dialogue about how Gen-Z women are regressing to the mean compared to their Millennial women counterparts - more concerned with materialism and man's ability to provide, more expectant of chivalry (though they've renamed it "princess treatment"), more averse to hookup culture.
This is just the continued evolution of ballooning female entitlement. But nobody wants to admit this as it would mean admitting women are not perfect blameless angels, so it gets blamed on economic anxiety instead.
I've also seen talks of how looksmaxxing is a response to changing socioeconomic conditions, that it is a means of restoring some sense of control.
In my opinion this is just ripping away the collectively upheld fiction that everyone pretended to believe previously; that looks didn't matter and it's what's inside that counts. This was never true. Ask anyone who went through a glow-up and it's astounding how much better people treat you when you're hot.

Middle class white women continue to be the main beneficiaries of DEI despite other groups being ostensibly ranked above them on the oppression totem -- that is to say they're higher ranked only on paper.

Actually a really great observation, since a lot of leftist beliefs on issues hinge on the idea that the problem is systemic in nature, so perhaps it is a major contributing factor to the left being less prone to conspiracy theories.
Doesn't that just shift the conspiracy up to who created and maintains the system? In the same way that a lot of conspiracy theories get tied back to Israel/Jews, only this time it's White People/Men?

Granting asylum to the denizens of an ally only makes sense in the case of a Ukraine-style war and I don't think that's the central case for an asylum-seeker, those are black-swan events.
You have successfully divined the point. I don't want to help the vast majority of current asylum claimants. A tyrannical dictator or a massive catastrophe are rare, valid events that I want to help. Living standards in Pashtun being shit (because of all the Pashtuns) or interminable ethnoreligious sand wars (a product of the backwards people and religions there) are not.
I do not want to help Africans or Arabs or Bomalians or Gomalians. Not in any way that involves bringing them here, at least.

They are crazy, and they will if they can. The attempt to flood the country with unwanted paper citizens is an attempt to do exactly this, in fact. The insistence that Mahmood who broke into the country a few years ago is EXACTLY as German as you is an attempt to dilute the concept out of existence. Equating blood citizenship and paper citizenship serves only to devalue the former.
Moreover, though, yes I don't think deporting their pets would cause any noticeable change in their plans.

A polite fiction, at this point. At least paper citizenship is. It means nothing. It's worth nothing. It's been given away so freely to so many that should never have had it. It's like degree devaluation, but worse.
For one, it gives the government the ultimate power to kick out citizens it dislikes.
Only those with alternative citizenships. Which is completely fair; paper citizens should always be at risk of removal, to keep them in line. Ideally there would be a way of preventing them from renouncing alternative citizenships before we can revoke their granted ones. (Well, ideally, they should never have been invited in in the first place, and I will still never understand the impulse to economic and social self mutilation that did so.)
It makes sense then, that the existing conservative parties would be concerned about a newcomer which wants to make such radical changes.
Well, no, not if their concern is towards the actual people of the country. If they have loyalty to paper citizens over blood ones, then they shouldn't be anywhere near power anyway and should be roundly disregarded on all concerns.
At the same time though, I don't understand why they seem so disinterested in at least limiting future immigration.
They don't actually care who they rule over, so long as they rule. Germans or Bomalians, it's all the same to them. They just want to rule over the most people possible. The Bomalians are maybe considered slightly easier to rule over due to being less disposed towards intelligence due to... alternative breeding strategies. This is however, under the assumption that they can be deprived of their violently backwards religions and ideologies by the civilising light of western culture (which they cannot.)
If the established parties would take on the more reasonable parts of AfD policies (limiting immigration and increasing requirements for applicants), that would probably net them a lot of voters and weaken AfD
If by bathroom sink is overflowing due to someone leaving the taps on 100% flow for ages, if my floors are getting soaked and everything is getting water damaged, simply turning the taps some of the way off doesn't fix anything. If your ship is sinking, covering up some of the hole and refusing to bail water because it would be "mean" to displace it, doesn't fix anything. The damage from mass migration is cumulative, it is the stock, not the flow that matters.

Nobody has a right to be in Germany other than actual Germans. If the privilege of being allowed to stay was previously erroneously referred to as such, well, that's unfortunate, but still, out they go.

The partners that are worth being cared about are artisan kitchen dining, and sometimes you get Steamed Hams'd and served a Big Mac in what looks like a fine dining establishment. That sucks. But nobody ever unexpectedly gets a gourmet meal in a McDonalds.
Nobody wants a slut as a girlfriend, not really. Things have value because of their scarcity. If you get the girl that literally anyone can get with, that says nothing about you as a person, that assigns you no value. If you're accepted by the pickiest pillow princess, if she relents just for you, that means something.
