I humbly disagree, if you can get sex as a woman from a guy you like and that's going to be the small minority of guys, without social structures then no one will want to marry. Most dudes are unattractive to be begin with which is why we have more female ancestors than male. On top of that bioleninism puts status in the hand of others besides males.
Porn undoubtedly is a reason though. I personally am not a total degen but also not a total religious nut in terms of promiscuity though I'd lean towards a society with more restrictions.

You can try a meditation retreat if you can take time off. Consumption of media isn't leisure, I take concerta and have always had issues psychologically, this stuff helped me out a lot. You can also take up self therapy in the form of Gendlins focusing, there are people you can do a weekly session with. This form of therapy is not verbal where you talk for hours about your problems and is extremely effective.
Jordan Peterson who's a very competent clinical psychologist recommended quarterly vacations as they help stave burnout in the long term. I wish you well, I suffered from stress back in 2019 as I'd spent years in cram schools and have mild stomach issues because of stress accumulated at that time. Meditation and Concerta have halped a lot so far.
There is a motte user who helps people out with similar issues but I'm not sure if it's right to mention this as it might come off as me shilling something for someone. I wish you the best.

Hinduism in its purest forms is very reactionary and extremely complex since it's a in umbrella term for a whole lot of sects. The common view among most is that you do good deeds and are given a life based on them, those who attain salvation escape life and death.
Now there are absolutely sects that don't believe in re incarnation at all. Remember, Hindus in India follow a more Puranic faith which is the complete opposite of the vedas. There are various sects but the unwritten laws and societal structures are largely same for all unless you dive deep into the texts for various texts.
I'm someone who leans more towards the vedas which are far more war focused than the puranas which are the latest and the ones with most made up stuff.
Also germanics had similar values and an understanding of the world not too far from Hindus. Survivethejive and Arya Akasha are two good sources for this from a western pov and the puri Shankracharya from an Indian pov.

Why should someone care if they are masking technical shortcomings?
To avoid injuring yourself and your partner when you grapple. Grappling is very risky and there is a reason why they teach you proper technique. You make exponentially more progress and it allows you to do bjj for a lifetime.
It seems impossible to not use any athletic traits.
Yeah but you risk getting injured even with proper technique and going moderately hard, if you are purely focused on being the technical guy, you will be able to do more of what you like as a recreational hobby. So nerfing your strength makes sense, it lets you enjoy the sport as a leisure activity where you have no ego involved and you dont end up getting a bad injury.
i really recommend everyone try grappling at some point in their life, quite fun at the right gym.

Firstly congrats on starting bjj, it is hte ideal combat sport for a guy 25 and beyond in terms of fun and practical aplications. You are fairly strong so try to not use your strength or felxibility at all when you are new as that hampers tehcnical growth. When you climb through the ranks, you will encounter some absolute freaks, former wrestlers, pros who are just as strong if not stronger than you are.
It's weird realizing it. Because normally, in my life, I have few opportunities to really test strength outside my basement.
It was the opposite for me since everyone in my gym weighed more than me at a smaller height with way more experience so I made up my mind to get as strong as I could. I stopped doing mma nearly a year ago due to work and got a shoulder injury this year but will resume soon i hope.
Anyone have any tips on getting started?
Yeah, wrestle a lot, get good at defending basic subs and do not use any athletic traits as that way you mask technical shortcomings. On the inury side, start some prehab for your knees, I had my knee get fucked once whilst rolling when I had a guy in butterfly guard. Also get a wrestling headgear or whatever it is called to avoid cauliflower ear and be wary of things like staph infection.
But eventually, every round has been a process of getting choked out in ways I didn't know were possible. Guess I'll see if I get any better.
You will get better, I got manhandled by a guy who I outweighed by 50 lbs, I am 160 lbs for context. You need to know what it is like to be in a state of chaos and what getting choked feels like to be able to remain calm.

In the case of conor, the girl was as hammered as he was and her texts were later removed from her friends phones. A womans honor is a pious thing in my society but I do have some suspicions in this case since we have seen rich and famous get accused of rape, in case the evidence out there is sufficient enough to prove that he did rape her then I would absolutely want him punished but these encounters. I really like your comments on culture war and I disagree with this take for a few reasons. My intention is not to be rude, in case my response sounds off, please let me and I can reword it better.
None of all of the above is to imply that I agree with any and all criticisms of Ireland’s policy on immigration, or that I am personally opposed to immigration into Ireland - I am not. I am obviously against having rapists or other criminals in any movement but he has not been judged to be a rapist by the criminal court. I am not a rape apologist but there is nothing wrong in being a hypocrite in my opinion if you are up against people who routinely do the same thing. You defect against those who defect.

India's culture wars are substantially different.
They aren't that different since humans share quite a bit and India was under British rule for a while whilst also having had a native morality not far off from the north west, closer to scandis than to ancient Greeks.
I mostly post non Indian stuff since India simply adopts and reacts to whatever happens in the west but there are some things where it's ahead, for instance one of the worst run not bioleninism infested state is named Bihar where transsexuals can get government to pay for gender reassignment surgery. NHS doing so or even the US having massive subsidies for this is an outcome I'd bet on if it isn't already there.

I tend to lean towards politeness, there are new visitors and some may be used to trigger warnings, hence my usage. My perspective is more cold approach inspired.
