With respect to the odd levels of tolerance that liberals and institutions show toward various degrees of, shall we say, "illiberal and unwoke" behavior from Muslims: does anyone actually believe that a "white" Western convert to Islam would be shown even a portion of this tolerance extended "brown" Muslims, should he do anything that would get a Christian "trad" in trouble with the likes of CFS? Because I once again came across someone glibly making that claim, and I still find it utterly implausible. (I'm reminded of Fred Thompson's first episode on Law & Order.)
White converts to Islam exist- as well as Mohammedans who naturally have white skin(even many Arabs appear physically indistinguishable from Italic or Iberian peoples; to say nothing of Anatolian turks or Dagestanis or Tatars). I suggest you ask them; I continue to believe that Mohammedanism being an ally of convenience to the left, and leftists being afraid of Mussulmen, explains more than skin colour(blacks get in trouble with CPS all the time) in how much the rules apply to them.
They may look white, but the left usually codes them as "brown." Meanwhile, John Smith the convert who grew up in modern America? He's still "white."
I don't know any, and the few I see in online spaces I access are converts to very liberal, progressive strains.
See, in various conversations with people on the left over the past 20+ years, from college discussions about the War on Terror (including one rather interesting and memorable alcohol-lubricated exploration of deep philosophical priors), to contemporary immigration debates on Tumblr, I continually find those on the left — non-Muslims, usually atheists — who claim they know what "true" Islam is better than many practicing Muslims. You see, true Islam is tolerant, and loving, and feminist, and LGBTQ+ friendly, and entirely in keeping with the latest in Progressive morality — just as is the case for true Christianity, true Judaism, true Buddhism… (All religions, rightly understood, are just different paths to the same Universal Truth, that truth being Progressive Western Moralistic Therapeutic Deism.)
Thus, those "brown" Muslims who use Islam to justify holding backwards, illiberal, patriarchal, or otherwise un-Woke beliefs? They've just been misled about their own religion, thanks to cultural programming endemic in whatever country they or their ancestors came from. They don't know any better. They just need to be brought to a Western country, allowed to live in a liberal society, and be shown some tolerance — so they don't feel pressured or attacked, and thus cling to "the old ways" in reaction — so that they can naturally come to realize that they can be fully Progressive liberals (as all human beings want to be, deep down, even if cultural brainwashing keeps them from realizing it) and still be good Muslims; that, in fact, it will make them better Muslims.
But a "white" Westerner? Who grew up in a Progressive, liberal Western cultural milieu? He knows the above; or at least, should know it. He should know that true Islam is Progressive Islam. And thus, if he is sincerely converting to Islam, it's to a liberal, tolerant, leftist strain of Islam.
If he converts to one of those backward, regressive, patriarchal strains? Well, then like that Law and Order character, it's not sincere, he's just a deplorable chud pretending to be Muslim as an excuse to mistreat women (because he's a pathetic incel loser who's afraid of women) or such.
The apostate is always worse than the heathen — the latter has the excuse of ignorance, from not having been exposed to the Truth yet, while the former absolutely does not.
When a "brown" Muslim — even an Albanian or Bosnian — makes his daughter wear a hijab? He just doesn't know any better, and the state needs to be tolerant. If a "white" convert does so? He's an abuser, and the state needs to step in immediately.
