Very nicely written, enjoyable.
I like these people. They strike me as spiritually more American than most of the people I've met in Europe. American rightists would find themselves more at home here than American leftists.
I have an intuition that the global right is a few years away from taking a deep dive into Chinese culture, as I feel the draw myself. As a White person wondering where everything went wrong, and a sense of National/European honor, I’m pulled to an admission that the Chinese have obviously done something very very right as a proud civilization, and feel the answer to our failure can be found there. If my daughter were to have to marry into any other race, I would choose East Asian.

72% preferred a traditional look, and this was the case regardless of whether one was Republican or Democrat or Independent, female or male, white or black (so no, liking traditional architecture isn't a "right-wing thing", as it is sometimes portrayed).
My intuition here is the leftists enjoy the construction of experimental transgressive architecture, and while they may prefer traditional architecture in isolated comparisons, they would not enjoy a city that maximizes this preference.

This comment (like many others of yours) seems motivated by a desire to guard your ego against the idea that indigenous Europeans don’t like your presence, and that you may not actually belong here.
There is no tantrum, there is just the usual democratic process, there is no punishment, merely Macron trying to retain power, again the usual democratic process.
Until someone pointed out to me that the Hitler salute was directly in front, I realized two things:

I agree with some other replies, most likely the fans think white boys are a concerning problem.
In the vein of my previous comment, that maybe there is more similarity between me and the liblefts than I previously thought, I wonder if there is an aspect of racism of low expectations here. Maybe liblefts have essentially given up on shaping POC boys, and they view decent well behaved white boys as a last bastion that cannot fall to the distinctly vulgar and uncivilized Andrew Tateism. Maybe they view conservative whites as a part of a functioning political ecosystem, and see it collapsing with their slow disappearance.
Strong agree. He comes off as the exact opposite of a mean spirited sociopathic bully, he’s downright warm, empathizing, understanding, if I only had this footage to judge from I would absolutely believe he is a very good grandfather.
I clicked randomly through the video and ended up at 18:50, which is a conversation where he is listening to his opponent talk about his own experience and Donald is intently listening, not interrupting, not changing the topic, and then expanding on what the other guy said. A lot of people who think of him as mean or abusive could learn a thing or two about how to socialize from him.

I completely disagree. I think many people can’t be charming while doing their favourite thing. Some people really don’t know how to be anything but self centred. People trying to fake warmth are usually very obvious, and if indeed Trump is faking here, it reveals a very sharp mind.
Jesse is also a hypocrite when it comes to hate speech against whites. A couple of episodes ago he was faced with the example of Saira Rao, who called Zionists “bloodthirsty” in one tweet, but rails endlessly about whites. He sputtered out nonsense trying to justify why her real sin was crypto-antisemitism but overt anti white tweets are kosher. Groups that are scared get priority over groups that aren’t his. His principles have their limits. Katie is much more of a freethinker.

Aren’t Palestinians genetically the same people who resided on that land 2000 years ago? Sure there’s Arab admixture, but it seems strange to say this is a matter of ethnicity. Indian🪶Americans who were christianized don’t suddenly lose their ancestral roots to the land. If anything this is a good ol religious war.

The most charitable read here is that Musk thinks Wikipedia deserves less money, not no money, and, like, ok Elon, I think you deserve less money and if you don't care about that opinion, why should they?
Musk isn’t running a charity. If Redditors want to convince companies that launching satellites on SpaceX rockets into space is a bad deal financially, they can make that argument.
And what maybe considered the most important part by people here is the law enforcement that while far from perfect for example both in Poland and in Russia(still much worse in the latter) does work at keeping streets safe, public transit clean and gangs non-existent.
This seems deeply incorrect to me. Warsaw (and also the rest of Poland for that matter) doesn’t have stricter policing than London, and I’ve never witnessed any police take action on litterers. The one possibility I can imagine to explain this is that maybe littering is contagious and we have few homeless who get the ball rolling. Otherwise my explanation is that Polish people are just more hightrust+ pro social than the British.

I really don’t see what moral discovery she’s made. How about you ask me what I would do if this story happened to someone else and how I would react to hearing about it? The answer is “I would feel sad for their difficult situation in which I am epistemically paralyzed to help or judge”. That’s my answer, Aella, this isn’t philosophy, this is “would you rather fuck your dad or your mom”, and casually throwing this on twitter is probably inspiring a bunch of similar behaviour amongst impressionable young adults.

Im very curious about the people who rant and rave about the show. What psychologically is the source of their enjoyment? Obviously it does not conform to some previously unexpressed trauma of white boys murdering classmates. Is it possible that these libs are just as freaked out about POC violent youth, but also need a way to express it, and White Boys reputation is just an acceptable cost? If they already understand themselves to be left wing, and know that everyone to the right of them is generally aware it’s not white Boys doing it, potentially they feel they’re engaging in a society wide esoteric communication.
