IIRC, the FBI classifies most Hispanics as white, so there is no way to see the crime rate of (what most people think of as) white perpetrators except in the rapidly dwindling number of areas where Latinos are rare or absent.

It would upset too many applecarts, so without some kind of coup or revolution it definitely will never happen.
(Unfortunately, this country is just too big. Each member of the legislature should represent no more than 50,000 constituents, but that would require a House of Representatives with 6,600 members!)
Fairfax County (like the entire DC metro area) is deep blue. I haven't seen a single Trump sign this year, and dozens of Harris signs. Four years ago, I saw two houses in my neighborhood with Trump signs and I can't help but wonder whether those houses got egged on Halloween.
It's endlessly frustrating reading the Post and the local subreddits where it's treated as axiomatic that any opposition to unending Third World immigration is xenophobia which is almost as bad, in their worldview, as advocating the legalization of rape.
I always vote Libertarian no matter who their candidate is. I want no part of the bipartisan shitshow. I wish we had a Proportional Representation Single Transferable Vote system to allow a larger portion of the political spectrum to be represented in the legislature.

There's an alternate-history novel Gray Tide in the East by Andrew J. Heller that postulates exactly this. The Kaiser reads Sir Edward Grey's 8/1/14 letter to Ambassador Lichnowski and peremptorily orders that the Schlieffen Plan be aborted, and those divisions diverted to stomp Russia - so that unless the French take it upon themselves to violate Belgian neutrality, its armies would have to batter themselves against the stone wall of the Elsass-Lothringen fortresses.

There's also Montgomery County, in the '70s and '80s (when I was young) a collection of affluent 95% white DC suburbs, now a declining black/latino/other third world immigrant area (the public school system is just 25% white now, a figure which includes Arabs). It's a "sanctuary county" where the local politicians virtue-signal by denouncing ICE and Republicans and fellating "diversity".
I have a hard time suspending my disbelief.
On the show, every few hundred feet along the sidewalk in built-up areas is stationed a Guardian (ersatz Gestapo goon) armed with a semi-automatic. There would have to be PLA-level manpower available to the regime for this to be possible. And you can't just give this job to any schlub; it has to be a fanatic who wouldn't hesitate to shoot his own mother or sister if she broke the laws (which include that women are no longer allowed to be literate in this society!)

I'm kind of curious to know what it's like to live in Grosse Pointe Park, MI, in a wealthy white neighborhood just one block from a typical Detroit hood. Pretty rare nowadays to see this without a miles-long, gradual buffer zone.

IMO, the money spent on highways and other car-related infrastructure since 1920 should have been spent on maintaining and increasing urban public transit and passenger rail service (anyone remember interurbans? Like streetcars, but they traveled between towns rather than within a city).
