West is superior in radards and avionics, however, that's a very small % of overall military equipment.
Overall the western MIC doesn't seem to be in a good shape. It produces very little, and given the levels of dysfunction in its leadership I doubt it can learn from the war and develop useful things needed for a future war. E.g. they're still building aircraft carriers despite it being fairly obvious carriers won't survive modern missiles, whether hypersonic cruise or guide ballistic.
It's really quite something that e.g. in Ukraine, Russia apparently has better recon and more drone capabilities than the west, somehow.

You can't simply move the factory to the mid west and somehow find skilled workers for all the positions. They're in short supply in the US as it is now, with boomers retiring and not enough replacements having been trained.

I mean, the western news media are, in effect, controlled by CIA. Or rather, the US nomenklatura -the elite body. whose members are usually very highly placed. Consider ECFR's (the EU sister organisation)'s own inforgraphic.
Not overtly, there editors know what to run and what not, and if someone doesn't take the hint the resident nomenklatura representative takes the case on.. When the journalist strayed too far from the approved narrative on Douma, an 'editor' who was unlike other editors during curiously little day-to-day work according to their CMS, but had spent several years working for the US nomenklatura got on his case. Of course, it ended up with the foolish journalist leaving.
Internet though, isn't, as Putin who is no doubt well familiar with the extent of Russian cybercrime because it regularly causes international incidents knows.

a) something like that has never happened. Disinfo was usually fed through agents who were turned. You can pass disinfo onto an unwitting agent, but no way you could have an entire program.
b) US spooks just aren't very good at the moment, so, unlikely.

In case you haven't noticed, Russian demographics aren't notably worse than EU, generally mostly better, they, unlike the west (apart from EU) have no shortage of energy, haven't completely destroyed their manufacturing base and have good ties with the one country that will sell you everything unless you're directly hostile to it.

You can't easily shut down an actual sexbot manufacturer.
Firstly, good sexbots would be indistinguishable from people without a very thorough inspection.
To tell them apart, you'd need invasive scanning, or mandating IFF, which can of course be turned off. Maybe thermal cameras and machine learning could work at scale..?
Do you think people would settle for getting x-rayed everywhere or examined using some form of radar?
So sexbots are great for infiltration purposes. Getting sexbots to stalk, seduce and fuck into stupor potential objectors is just too easy.
Or even just charm / outargument. By the time sexbots are possible, AI will be able to out-argue anyone.
A sexbot, an extremely charming person, linked up to an AI that can out-debate anyone will be great for persuading people to change their view.

Nah. That doesn't mean it's not perfectly doable. People don't do many things that are possible and easy. Really not sure why.
E.g. I'm the only person I've ever seen rigging a sling on a case of bottled beer so I could carry it like a cumbersome shoulder bag.
It did work well - got it on a bus and got it home with not much fuss.
Saved myself a neat amount of money for little effort. Without a sling, getting it home would have been rather awkward.
Damn. I guess it's good there are gay people doing good work. Makes me tolerate them more. Now I have one more to appreciate. BAP's pretty good and Gaider has done truly excellent work in gaming and game modding too. (iirc a lot of these mods were by him).
There's also a War Thunder playing gay furry who's both an excellent player and not .. weird. E.g. if he didn't have a fox pfp and people hadn't wheedled a statement out of him, you'd not know he's one.
People really need to keep their sexuality private. No clue why they don't.
