Not sure on the latter part but I do generally agree foreigners view American in a negative light because we are the hegemon so it’s a bit rebellious to speak badly of Americans even if they can’t really do anything about it. And a second reason Americans get looked down upon is because we dominate media and foreigners have a much about to view the American lower class versus their own.

I don’t mind voting for the bastards now. I feel like a generation ago we had certain norms where most people believed “X thing that is true but bad” and would instead say “Y thing that is nice” but still enforce mitigation against “X uncomfortable truth”. Then post 2010 people started to believe that “Y nice to say” was actually true and we lost a lot of the things we did to mitigate bad things.

Now half the population believes “Y nice things to say” are true. So then you kind of need to have actual bastards elected.

I don’t think it’s limited to momentum. But technical analysis and quant researching are probably essentially the same thing. One uses computers and the other just prints all the data on paper and looks at it.

America has been Catholic for a 100 years. And the Irish and Italians have been here a lot longer than the Mexicans. The Catholic Great Replacment was a long time ago.

This is just averages and essentially Baumol costs disease create a lot of high wage manual labor.

Point stands that we have huge outcome gaps which are evidence of a lack of assimilation. And when you look at other things like life expectancy then all those states become much poorer than Germany.

Ok but you doing that doesn’t make enough money to pay the rent. That’s what I don’t understand. They need a lot of people just coming and going.

Yes. I get all the reasons people are saying. But personally I go to Starbucks or other chain coffee maybe once a year. Usually at the airport or something.

Maybe the logistics are a lot better than I am imagining but my intuition tells me it would take a minimum 20 minutes but probably closer to 30 to get to your chain coffee place, order, and get your product. I think I’ve seen the average office worker spends 3 hours a day goofing off on the internet so maybe it’s not a problem. Or the logistics are much faster than I imagine.

Money is a secondary thought since most offices have a coffee pot for free. But honestly Americans are rich enough and everyone waste money so $5 a day 250 days a year isn’t a huge mental block for me.

My “I don’t Understand” is much more on the financial side in America where rent and wages are high. So you actually need a lot of people with 20-30 spare minutes to get a $5 a coffee a day to support the store. I guess that’s about 1500 daily customer needed to support one Starbucks.

I understand that with McDonalds. But I would not that all their capex is funded thru selling burgers. The egg sandwich and coffee only needs to make more than the labor costs in the morning. And McDonalds is of course very good at execution and getting your stuff fast.

Feel like I’m being forgetful today but I usually have a few things where I don’t quite understand how something gets financed.

I mean all of America is rich. So that’s not that surprising. And Georgia is a weird example for you to pick because it is known to be the wealthiest black community in America.

I’m not sure what you are arguing that the statistics aren’t correct. They are just statistics. Are you arguing that we don’t have things like a big wealth gap between white and blacks? The left and right agree this is true.

I 100% understand all the sweet girly drinks. It’s like going to Dairy Queen for a treat. Chilling at a cafe while having a coffee drink with some sort of cake for a few hours is a lot of fun, but I don’t believe it pays the bills for them.

But I assume the bulk of their profits come from caffeine rush to get thru the working day. And that just seems like a huge time sink. Even if you work on the 50th floor of mega corp office building then going to get your coffee at Starbucks on the ground floor is still a 20ish minute adventure versus whatever office pot or espresso machine in the office.

Lifted pickups are the same as 80% of the economy. Status games showing yourself spending money. No different than spending $3k in the club whose real purpose is showing every girl in the club that you have enough money to spend $3k frivolously.

What is something that you completely can not understand why it exists?
From time to to time I notice something and I am like wow there is a market for this.

One big one for me has always been Starbucks. I can not imagine paying their prices for coffee. And I generally want a coffee within the first 15 minutes of waking up so the idea of putting on clothing and going to a coffee store everyday seems both a huge waste of time and money.

So for the most part I can’t understand the volume of business at coffee stores.

1 juror biased in favor of the defendant results in hung jury and can guarantee the result. Granted I guess 1 for the prosecution can do the same but a 11-1 not guilty jury probably gets the prosecutor to drop the case. Having to retry a 11-1 guilty case is a big waste of time and money.

In this case it sounds semi-reasonable to assume the juror was initially trying to get out of jury duty. After the Judge told him he was going on the jury anyway he decided to play ball and said he could be impartial.

I feel like this has be to somewhere around a 50% chance of what actually went down.

When choosing immigrants you care a lot about outcome assimilation and that has not occurred likely because of genetics. Now blacks have a claim to America as their homeland because they have been here a long time but the lack of outcome assimilation is a strong argument against letting any group immigrate to the US.

And while American culture is a melting pot between Anglo and black culture it’s also clear that there is a culture gap between the two groups which probably does have a genetic component.

So while modern American culture is a combination of both groups we don’t really want to add more groups that can’t blend into existing American culture especially when a large part of that is likely genetic. It’s still a strong argument against immigration.

Full assimilation would be to not be able to find group differences between people of different ancestry so even if the cause is genetics the two groups haven’t assimilated by formed one society of distinct groups.

I feel like this is the no-true Scotsman fallacy. Israel is not 100% Jewish and some of the groups within Israel have significant genetic differences but as far as I know all the Jewish groups still trade 40-60% of their DNA from the historical Jewish population and common ancestors. And the shared 40-60% of genetics is a key defining point of the States.

Calling Saudi Arabia not an ethnic state seems even flimsier because it rest on them having imported temporary workers who can not stay permanently. Even here they have some minor exceptions as I know a scientists whose Muslim but not Arab who accepted the Saudi bag and they let him get citizenship but that is extremely rare.

Maybe Hungary. But to note that the EU has frozen funds to Hungary and did some Article 7 TEU thing. Plus LePen was banned in France.

Sure I guess you can argue Jews are not pure white. But it is a loosely genetically related ethnostate if you want to conclude the different Jewish groups are both only partially genetically related to the original inhabitants.

As much as I want to call soccer an inferior sport which I believe is true; I also like that it exists. And that it slot in somewhere around Sport 4 or 5 in America.

It has two greats features. The endurance test of soccer and players actually becoming tired is kind of cool. And while I think being a feet only sport is inferior since the upper body is a significant component of fitness that also allows it to select for athletes without the same emphasis on pure physical size.

Do we have large income gaps between black populations and non-black populations in the US?

If you spend enough time on Twitter you begin to realize any time some SES graph shows up by geography they all look identical. And they are all very similar to % black population. Whether it’s income, murder, life expectancy or whatever else you can think of that shows outcomes you see worse outcomes in heavily black areas.

Even if you do something like group white people versus black people by income you end up finding things like the children of the top 10% of black parental income have the same chance of ending up in jail as bottom income whites.

So basically you can do all kinds of statistical test by race and find huge differences. These things aren’t disputed by the right and the left. They dispute the meaning of these statistical tests. It’s also at the heart of disparate impact is proof of racism.

The lack of convergence to similar outcomes is the evidence for a failure to assimilate.

“Says who”

  • The ADL had specific lists of every organization in western culture on who were the bad people promoting white ethnostates. They’ve been defanged now but for 30 years they carried a lot of power.

Currently there are zero white ethnic states besides Israel and one can say slightly Argentina. The fact none exists is a strong indicator it was being enforced though not absolute proof.

Provided you teach scientific racism in civics class. Otherwise society sees highly filter of “X” group being fine. So you loosen the standards. Then the existing group does chain migration and brings over wives and parents. And now you have a voting block to pressure government to let more of their people in.

I’ve had Paki friends shocked when they went to Pakistan and found out their country isn’t as smart as all the brown skinned friends in the states and had no realization of how highly selected for his father was.

So basically non of this works unless you teach racism in public schools.

The rest of the States you mention are all outside of the liberal western world. Japan has one foot in but they are still have sovereignty outside of western society. No Western State has a right to ethnonationalism.

It’s liberalism within Zionism. Just like the US was founded on Liberalism for white people but slavery for black people. Within the chosen people you do everything in a liberal way (free trade, free speech, free association etc). Within the tribe/species you give those within it liberal rights.

This fails the test of high filtration. I do in fact have highly assimilated black ADOS friends. But it’s a small % of the population. The last cycle of African immigrants to the US were highly filtered.

The closest thing we have to unfiltered African population in America would be Somalis and they are not assimilating. And Europe is having similar issues with unfiltered African migration.

The only examples we have of mass migration in the west completely failed to assimilate over 100’s of years.

I honestly have no idea what part of this is sarcasm or an actual argument. I think the use of italics and exclamation marks makes it hard to tell if you are speaking clearly or using them to imply you don’t really believe that argument.

Is this not the primary reason to get rid of it? Those awards should go to the person who earned it NOT the person running up stats in an exhibition game.
