Surprised me in both directions, actually; I figured Roberts, like Kavanaugh, would also lean on statutory rather than constitutional claims, and I didn't expect Gorsuch or Thomas to go that way. Although MadMonzer is right here -- Thomas isn't a partisan hack, he has a very solid idea of what the Constitution says even if it ain't right. For instance in Mullin v. Al Otro Lado: "[A]ny statute that forced the President to allow aliens to cross the border against his will would appear to exceed Congress’s enumerated powers, and a court could not enforce it against the President." -- he gets this from the Article II vesting clause, which is a pretty severe stretch. I would expect that Congress gets to decide which aliens get to cross the border, and certainly the law has always worked that way.

That monopoly has enough loopholes to drive FedEx through. The post office suspended the monopoly on "extremely urgent letters" in 1979, and I believe current statutes freeze that suspension.

"Normies" on the Democratic right will never vote for Republicans; it's socially unacceptable to even think about it. The Democrats' right flank is secure, so they can safely move left to keep the highly motivated socialists happy. Strategies aimed at the center don't work for that reason.

You expect people to be informed of something there is literally not enough evidence to judge? The claim that the number of false ballots cast (no, not by ineligible individuals, but by organized groups) is small is disputed. And we know these operations can be hidden from official scrutiny (even if they're so well known they're basically a meme) for a very long time; Chicago was.

Rate cuts wouldn't fuck the economy, unless they zeroed them in the next meeting or something. The Fed doesn't have the fine control it thinks it has, and as far as I can tell the only Fed-related trouble we've had is due to overtightening, not over-loosening.

(2) If the ballot has no postmark, a postmark with no date, or an illegible postmark, and no other information is available from the United States Postal Service or the bona fide private mail delivery company to indicate the date on which the ballot was mailed, the vote by mail ballot identification envelope is date stamped by the elections official upon receipt of the vote by mail ballot from the United States Postal Service or a bona fide private mail delivery company, and is signed and dated pursuant to Section 3011 on or before election day.
So if you can get the ballot to the counters as-if it was delivered by the post office or "a bona fide private mail delivery company", you don't need a postmark.

The question is whether "everything in that area" is particular enough.

ADOS is a special case and probably not assimilable for the reasons Jefferson pointed out, bolstered by HBD reasons. They will never forgive the original sin as long as they are visibly less successful than whites, and they will always be visible less successful than whites if they aren't receiving continuous bolstering to an extent greater than ever practiced -- and any such bolstering depends on the acceptance by both groups of the relevance of the sin.

Yes, often. The US is full of former ghettos where integration eventually happened; the ghetto provided a place those who could not integrate could survive (but at a disadvantage) while their children and grandchildren integrated.

duelling arises out of being armed
Formal duelling in the US is basically extinct, despite all the guns. Anything else you might call "duelling" only arises out of being armed if you exclude unarmed mutual combat, in which case your argument is just a tautology.
The DSA is not going to be a third national party; it is taking over the Democrats. And with the Democrats it gets the Democratic juggernaut. Policy positions don't matter because the Democratic right flank is secure -- no matter how far left they move, they won't lose people to the Republicans, because it's simply socially unacceptable for people who have gone Democratic to ever vote for Republicans.
