Nazi Germany mostly inherited the imperial German military system, essentially intact but unused. Reviving it was politically popular and the sort of thing that was inevitable from whoever rose to the top in the Weimar republic. Hitler's main military reforms were either net negatives like the SS or copies of the adaptations other major powers made to the lessons of WWI, coupled with the existing highly-competent Prussian officer corps's adaptations to the lessons of the Spanish civil war.
It's true that Hitler did some common-sense reforms that he can fairly get credit for, but these reforms were, well, commonsense- few of them were unique to Germany.

Aren't feral horses, water buffalo, and camels all categorized as 'invasive' in Australia? I personally oppose the designation- I prefer a more southwestern-US view that increasing megafaunal variety is good even if some native species suffer, but Australians have the right to their own opinions on the relative value of kangaroos vs horses even if I would have a Texas-style pro-exotics policy where only animals causing damage to the things people want out of the ecosystem are considered invasive if I were Australian emperor- but that is what Australians call them.

The fostercare system is a lot blacker than the population as a whole, but I would push back against hoffmeister's assertion that black kids in the foster system are a particular problem- nearly everyone in the system has problems and teenagers in fostercare behave horribly. I'd disagree with the assertion that whites in the foster system are a touch better.

People in general are OK with lower class girls from the same tribe becoming courtesans(which is basically what Epstein's victims were) as a form of social mobility as long as it's quiet. Very few people are OK with ingroup women of any description working as brothel prostitutes/streetwalkers(which is what the Rotherham victims were). It's reasonable to see these as different kinds of sex work and I'm not sure 100x worse is that far off.

A surprising number of people just literally don't know that Eptstein's victims were adult-presenting teens who were mainly 16-17 and performed escort work. They think it's Rotherham, where elementary and middle school aged girls were used as brothel prostitutes.
Every society has distinguished between hetairia and porne. People are fine with the former as a vice other people engage in but furious at the latter involving citizen women.

The wire is a character drama focused mostly on the criminals as long-run characters in a broader narrative, though. Very different genre than episodic investigative dramas from the cop's perspective.
You can make an interesting show about investigating lowlives shooting each other. It just wouldn't look anything like CSI.

Lol you don't have any theory of mind for conservatives as we actually exist, do you? Conservatives are not embarrassed by going to less prestigious universities. We don't care. University prestige might occasionally matter on non-academic factors(ROTC or the football team are bragging rights) but we just assume undergrad classes are pretty much all the same. Actually someone who went to community college and worked their way through a transfer to podunk state school of commuting would be seen as a hard working self starter, not pathetic for being unable to get into harvard.
There's a red tribe joke- a very bright student from the rural south is visiting harvard. He stops a passing student, asks 'Where's the bathroom at?'. The student answers, clearly disdainful of his accent 'At Harvard, we are taught not to end our sentences with a preposition.' And the visitor responds 'Well then where's the bathroom at asshole?'. This is... reflective of real attitudes towards worrying about highly selective college admissions.

It's actually even a bit brighter than you think- red tribe whites are on track to have the highest TFR of any major group in the next year or two(currently tied with hispanics, blacks are a distant third) and that looks to be durable.
No doubt many motteizeans would prefer yankees to be the durable demographic core. But hispanics are reliant on immigration to keep their demographic growth; that will inevitably slow from declining populations in Latin America.
I agree with you that the better parts of Mexico, Brazil, etc are extremely recognizable as a worst case scenario for America and are broadly 'fine' in global terms.

The very poor in America do not eat meat. They're not eating rice and beans either, mind- it's a diet of ultra-processed food, made of vegetable oil, additives, sugar, and white flour combined in various forms.
It's worth noting that Latin American immigration is not universally non-white, has a long history of assimilating pretty well- and generally not to the criminally inclined underclass, the Hispanics and blacks hate each other and the Hispanic underclass is probably not, proportionately, much higher than the white one- and that Hispanic fertility in the US holds up much worse than native white TFR.
There are criticisms of Latin immigration- they're terrible drivers who raise premiums for everyone, they drive down wages for the native lower-working class, etc. But America's underclass is, mostly, black. The non-black underclass has plenty of whites in it, and I wouldn't claim those whites are any better than the blacks. The median Hispanic in the US works as a cook or a mechanic or construction worker, pushes his kids to move up the social ladder but doesn't complain when it's only one rung, and uses no drugs worse than pot. His daughter is likely to marry a white man, give birth to European looking and acting children, and have higher fertility than her peers who marry other Mexicans. His son likely has a better chance of stable and productive employment than his white peers. The developed parts of Latin America with lots of whites are, by the standards of high income inequality middle income countries, the best in the world- much nicer places to live than former soviet countries, South Africa, etc. It's unlikely that Hispanic immigration will raise income inequality or suppress economic growth by enough to reach, say, Chilean levels. Hispanic migration is simply not a crisis to US ability to maintain its functioning civilization.
