What is common and annoying is people of different religions assuming that theirs is the true one, with quite scant evidence. Even in spaces that are ostensibly concerned about epistemology.
Purely logically, at least 99 of 100 One True Lord Gods must be fake, or all of them are not as One True as the religions teach.

This kind of logic is not applied to any other activity one might simulate in a movie that I'm aware of. No one makes action mains win a real bare-knuckle fight (or throw one, depending on the script) to test their willingness to act out a fight in a movie. (Though I admit, it would be rather karmic if one of those exploitative directors got knocked out by a tryout).
I do not believe "it's just picking for willingness to follow instructions" is honest advocacy for the casting couch, not for a second. I'm sure next time you're looking for a job and your interviewer plays games with you "to test for proper attitude, flexibility etc." you won't buy that kind of shit.

I would say that the harm from any "defection" gay people commit by not forcing themselves to have hetero sex for the purposes of reproduction is smaller than forcing them to have hetero sex for the purposes of reproduction. So, the answer is "closer to being moral", I suppose. We're not on a space ark that's gonna die out if citizens do not Do Their Duty.

Molecular-scale mechanisms sounds exactly like something that can relatively easily arise randomly (less parts) but hard to create on purpose (with no molecular-scale manipulators).
Fighter jets are the opposite - large-scale forces would be disrupting any intermediate stages of genesis, and it needs more diverse environments to assemble its different parts (do you think the alloys for its fuselage, the upholstering of its seats and the transistors in its electronics can all be created under the same circumstances?).
Simple but hard / complex but easy.
