Kratos "mellowing out" wasn't suddenly tacked on in GoW 2018. Arguably his "unapologetic masculine killering" was his undoing in all the rest of the series, consistently. If you ask me GoW 2018 Kratos has become wiser, not "mellowed". Also, the beer gut is Thor and I am convinced that it's mythologically accurate.

Admitting one doesn't have a good answer to a contradiction is strictly better for light-making purposes than throwing out a bad answer. And when one's best solution is "group X likes measure xY despite Y because x", I must assume they haven't looked very hard. For the record, my first assumption would be "the group is less X and more Y than Butlerian thinks if they like xY".
The so-called "globohomo" ideology has shown itself to be extremely intolerant of eugenics for the purposes of producing white blond blue-eyed children, so I hope you can see why I highly doubt tacking on "single mothers" suddenly makes it worth it.

You're assuming certain modes of thinking from your outgroup to the point where you have to massage the assumed framing of those situations into quite tortured angles.
Compare: "Genocide white people? Bad. Genocide white people? Good, everyone knows white right-wingers love genocide. Now you see how anti-white tendencies in the West are an aggregate win for the white supremacists".

I want to ask: why are we listening to interviews given by spies of all people, anyway? We know those are the people whose job literally is (or was, if you believe they really aren't an asset anymore) to lie and deceive. What utility could be gained from hearing them speak, other than finding out what it is that their handlers want you to believe?

Personally, I like cats and dogs well enough on the screen. I can't imagine caring for one, even if I weren't allergic. I'm awkward around living creatures who are not intelligent enough to speak a language.

It is not lost on me that I would be a lot more sympathetic if it were a black student trying to earn admission to a university where white students would rank him on the "okay-not okay" skin color chart. But if it was a black student in a black-dominant country who was trying to get in on a white quota? Very much less so.

To clarify - if you tried to get in university on allegedly being black, and the university let someone who's black verify that you're black, you would "go especially out of your way to make things as bad as you can for blacks"? If I were black and thought I was surrounded by people prone to such disproportionate retaliation for slights (where the slight in question is a minimal attempt to see if you're not bullshitting me), I'd just want to make sure there ain't gonna be no retaliation.

Nobility, as far as I understand it, is about owning land, developing it and those who dwell on it and protecting it and them from harm. (Whatever "bloodline" and "good stock" are, they only contribute to nobility as much as they contribute to what nobles do). Perhaps Burdensome has neglected to mention everything he does that makes him, as he puts it, "better", but from what I gathered from his post he moves money around the Western market and earns a premium based on how much of it ends up in his employers' hands. Hardly evokes an image of a noble patriarch, that.

if all it takes to create a "reproduction" of a famous piece of art is some dude with sticky tape, that calls the whole art scene into question.
There's a joke about the mechanic fixing the car. "But all you did is tighten one nut! What's 1000 bucks for?" "One buck for tightening the nut. The rest is for knowing that this is what I had to do."
To create a reproduction of an art piece, you need, at the minimum, an art piece to reproduce. Otherwise all the reproductionists could just host their own works in their museum.

It would be acceptable, in case the artwork was damaged, to reglue the strips in place. It's called restoration. Making another one wouldn't be the original, it's what they call a "reproduction" and you can't hang that up in a museum as an original.

The special meaning of the original is that it's the original. Being made by the artist's own hands is the point. This isn't a new development in art.

Unless the 'message' and 'meaning' of the work are tied up in the knowledge that it was a particular artist who made it, or the exact materials that were used, then making a new one in the exact same configuration should be precisely as meaningful to the viewer as the original.
You... don't accept the premise of "the original" in the first place, do you?

If trans people are a generous 1% of the population who lose let's say 95% of sexual QoL on average as a result of various medical interventions, and about half of all men lose 5% from circumcision, that's 0,95% harm per capita (done typically well after puberty starts, at an age when people start to be culpable for crimes), compared to 1,25% done at birth. We probably should care about circumcision more than about trans kids.
The small-scale thread reads "Sunder" instead of what I assume should be "Sunday", too.
