I've finally mustered up the energy to write a full-length review of what's a plausible contender for my Favourite Novel Ever, Reverend Insanity. Why is this all pony literature?
Andy Weir is a good point though. I should get around to reading one of the books; I quite liked The Martian film.
The question is not why; the question is, why not?
But if you absolutely need a non-pony option, try The Number by NothingnessAbove.
Because that's ridiculous if not disconcerting.
