The Wednesday Wellness threads are meant to encourage users to ask for and provide advice and motivation to improve their lives. It isn't intended as a 'containment thread' and any content which could go here could instead be posted in its own thread. You could post:
-
Requests for advice and / or encouragement. On basically any topic and for any scale of problem.
-
Updates to let us know how you are doing. This provides valuable feedback on past advice / encouragement and will hopefully make people feel a little more motivated to follow through. If you want to be reminded to post your update, see the post titled 'update reminders', below.
-
Advice. This can be in response to a request for advice or just something that you think could be generally useful for many people here.
-
Encouragement. Probably best directed at specific users, but if you feel like just encouraging people in general I don't think anyone is going to object. I don't think I really need to say this, but just to be clear; encouragement should have a generally positive tone and not shame people (if people feel that shame might be an effective tool for motivating people, please discuss this so we can form a group consensus on how to use it rather than just trying it).

Your perspective on life and yourself is bad, unhelpful to you. You should try to work on that on a daily basis. Establish something more realistic and helpful. Good news: Views and beliefs are all wrong, as in never 1:1 with whatever 'reality' is; never set in stone; and can be changed. You may have heard the saying "all models are wrong; some are useful". So investigate what you've got currently, throw out the counter-productive ones and establish good beliefs. Knowing what to want is as important as knowing how to go about getting what you want.
You have no idea how lucky you are, and how many opportunities may be open to you. You're self-employed and you have a ton of money. That's not something to be ashamed of, at all. You can proudly present yourself as a consistently successful trader. Which is awesome. Maybe don't mention "crypto" to people who may have prejudice against that. Yours is an extremely good position that the vast majority of the world's population does not have. Make more use of it! Move out, into to your own place in a high quality of life area. Spending an extra 30k a year is a no-brainer to go for. You make around 10x that much each year, it sounds like. What good is your money if you don't invest it (outside the markets!) to have a good time in life? What use is your 7 figure hoard if you die a year from now? You never know when death will come for you. And time is the one thing you can never earn or replenish.
Look up the best books on refurbishing your mind and its beliefs, and getting shit done. You already know how to teach yourself difficult things and succeed at them. The advice from @OracleOutlook on having two major hobbies that build you and where you build something is a good one.
Best of luck! Back yourself, man. And please post another update at some point.
Yes, I know. Hard to brush off social pressures and judgements. I'm working on this daily.
it is, but the rational part of my brain is rejecting it. It doesn't make sense money wise, at least while I'm single. I'd be spending more for roughly the same lifestyle. And splitting home chores with other family members is a great time saver. Perhaps I'm also scared of change, I've lived the same lifestyle, for the most part, since I was 12. I know that it's one of those things that I should stop making excuses for and just do it.
