He doesn’t hate his gay or black or Jewish or Polish or Haitian neighbor, nor presumably any of these, or other, peoples.

That doesn’t make him a bad person, it actually makes you a bad person for judging him based on him disliking criminality.
You think another person should feel like you do because of culture, or god, or morals, or something else.

I’m always going on yellow. On an incredibly rare occasion the light turns red exactly as I head into the intersection.
This is perfectly logical and I assumed legal.
It’s either go on yellow or slam my brakes.

It’s disproportionate, there’s no viable objective, Israel’s intention is to ethnically cleanse the land, and there’s no legitimate reason to be punishing the civilian populations by withholding aid or firing on civilians attempting to obtain aid.
It’s defensive.
It’s to no longer be attacked, to get back hostage bodies, and to be safe in the future.
It isn’t - if those Palestinians were instead Germans or Chinese, this wouldn’t be happening. It is happening because instead they have a death cult attacking them for decades at their doorstep.
The aid is constantly going to Hamas. Outside of very specific incidences, Israel is not firing on civilians. And certainly not on purpose or wholesale.

Well the first two are ‘ this transcends yet IS anime ‘ and the last two ‘ ARE anime ‘ - meaning, just weirdo, brutal insanity. It’s a big part of anime with a long tradition.
Sure I wouldn’t recommend them to an anime non watcher, probably, but Elfin Lied is what got me into anime before even the classics.

When my two buddies and I were doing a film podcast, I told them that when we get to 50 episodes I’ll get a tattoo of our pod. Well about near ep 70 I was like, well shucks, guess I should keep at my word.
Now I have a lovely film themed podcast tattoo on my right upper leg.
It’s fucking cool - reminds me of my hanging with my buds - and of the 200 or so hours of content I made (that maybe seven people - including us - ever listened to).
Most tattoos I shrug at. Some are really cool. Most are meaningless - but most often then not the meaningless ones are nicer, cooler, doper, neater than the meaningful ones.
Most people look like shit anyway - from their features to their clothes … I’m not sure how much effort into caring (or hating, from the thread vibes) I’m supposed to give.

I didn’t own a car for ten years in South Florida and bicycled 2 hours a day usually.
I always dreamed of doing something like what you wrote. But also reading what you wrote I realize that I don’t think it’s up my alley. It sounds amazing - but I just want a relaxed trip on a road with a pub at the end of a few hours.
What was your most relaxed bicycling trip been ?
