I don't disagree that the farms are likely not very traditional or masculine, but I still judge them poorly by those metrics.

I'm really skeptical that your comminity is 98% white.

Without doxxing myself, the latest census I saw for my town -- in 2019, as I recall -- has us at 96.something% White.

OP probably does not live anywhere near me, but outside of major cities and border territories, there remain a lot of very White communities. It's not terribly hard to believe he might live in one.

Ultimately, though I do sincerely advocate in favor of political violence, it would perhaps be more accurate to say I advocate most for direct and immediate action; I think intelligent people, in this community and others, far too often fall into a mental trap where instead of decisively resolving a situation for better or worse they drag it out because they're afraid. They put too much thought into consequences, too much thought into risk, and inevitably conclude that this fight isn't worth fighting.

And they conclude the next one isn't, either.

And the one after that.

Every time, there are many good, valid, sensible arguments for submission, and a scarcity of sensible arguments for defiance. Yet if you cede all ground because you're afraid of risk, eventually there is no more ground to cede. 'Death before surrender' is not merely a pithy phrase; a group that internalizes that message and acts in accordance with it will make hostile powers think twice and be more cautious, because even if they can win it will happen at a cost.

If you fight, you might lose. This is true. I can't deny it: if the American Right embraced my violent outlook, it is possible I, and people who share my values, would be crushed to paste and die miserably, or be imprisoned, or tortured, or paraded as a vanquished foe as a status symbol for the progressive elite. It's also possible we'd win. It's also possible we'd lose, but exact enough of a blood price from the left that they back off and treat the survivors with more respect and permit more autonomy.

The only guaranteed outcome is that if we always surrender, we definitely lose. You have to be a fighter.

What is the steelman argument against vegetarianism/veganism?

I like meat.

This sounds like your problem, not mine. I made my prediction; you can accept it or not, but I'm not going to humor your protestations.

More elaborately: there is no moral value in the world outside of human flourishing. Morality is not a characteristic of the universe, a cold hard fact we can measure with a morality device; it is a value we assign through our own personal determinations.

Animals don't have rights. Animals have whatever we give them and nothing else. My cat is valuable because I've got a personal bond with my cat. A cow isn't because I don't and want to eat it. In a different life, maybe I'd have a personal bond with a cow, and not eat it. But that's not because cows have the right to not be eaten, it's because I have a personal, one-on-one connection to that cow specifically.

Why do we eat meat? Because we like meat. That we like it is justification enough, because humanity alone is the arbiter of right and wrong.

Between this and Amadan's sharing of screenshots, I'm happy to announce Reddit's leadership is exactly what I suspected it was, and that I can think of no greater way to shame them than letting them be precisely what they are.

A sufficiently brutish dog can kill a full-grown man. If you must lose, take someone down with you.

Even here, the t-word reigns supreme. Alright, I'll use another term.

"This is unfalsifiable booing", sun declares, seemingly wholly unaware that Cloudflare did in fact just betray all their nominal principles in service to the agenda of Left, Inc.

Yeah, no. It's been falsified. Deal with it.

It flies everywhere else, though. Things are good because a critical mass of people assert they are good.

I see an obvious problem with your analysis: perhaps, regardless of feminism or wealth, the east and the west have different sexual norms and fertility baselines.

There isn't a real debate and humanity isn't divided on the issue. Vegetarians are a small minority.

You mean that thing they've been doing for years, which led to them getting booted anyway. You need to actually make an exit strategy if you're going to do that.

The world has had plenty of violent empires and states. The flaws of the Islamic world come from its people, violent or not.

Whether you want to believe they've always been one, or are only one now, is your prerogative. So long as we're clear that they are.

Sure, you can insist your personal moral vision is superior to the masses. I do that, too. But once you do that you're just debating personal aesthetics. This is good because I say it's good (or because God says it and I say God is good, etc).

Either way, it all boils down to a critical mass of people asserting it.

I'm not hoping to stir anyone to action here, and the left has no high ground to abandon; they've already engaged in rampant, state-backed violence, looting cities, erecting autonomous zones, burning down courthouses, etc., etc.

Their punishment was the election of Joe Biden and the advancement of almost all leftist goals. They embraced naked might and nothing but good things happened to them. I'm long past worrying the left might do something; they are doing it.

My thoughts are that feminism began as a misguided quest to treat women like men, then was adopted by bitter harridans and predatory men who realized the sexual revolution and increasing destruction of traditional mindsets would secure them steady supplies of consequence-free young pussy (a boon for the latter) at the expense of the stability and health of our previous culture (a boon for the former).

The goal of feminism is to let women be the type of men they've always hated. It's no surprise this suffocates fertility.

Those who say the words are my enemy. Those who bend the knee are my enemy. Those who internalized it are my enemy. I don't care about inscrutable motives and complicated internal states - I care about what you actually do.

Cloudflare booted Kiwifarms at the behest of Left, Inc. Cloudflare is thus part of Left, Inc, and I will treat them as such. If you want to argue they only did it under duress, that's fine. I don't care. "I'm your friend so long as it's easy" means you're not my friend.

No, the old waves I mentioned as the misguided quest.

If fire is hot how come it hurts when a shark bites you?

God, no. I can't stand the drama forums. Everything about them viscerally repulses me.

I don't agree it's a controversial axiom. It's controversial when phrased so bluntly, but blunt phrasing is my nature. All moral systems, with only one eccentric exception I can think of, boil down to it.

"I support good things and oppose evil things. Good things are , where X is whatever my personal moral system supports. This might be God, it might be Secular Humanism, it might be Progressivism. These things provide a framework for judging the world, a framework which I embrace because I personally believe it to be conducive to human flourishing. I like this framework because it enables me to impose my personal biases on the people around me while appealing to a seemingly neutral platform."

The exception is sincere anti-humanist sentiment, ala "we should all die and go extinct", but even that ultimately derives from personal misanthropy and an aesthetic preference for nature (or non-existence, in the case of severe nihilistic depression).

But in the end, it's all just people asserting X is good. And that's fine. I assert meat is tasty and that makes it good, and most of humanity agrees with me. Some don't, but I don't worry about them.

This was not Kiwifarm's first brush with the specter of censorship and deplatforming. In the past, they've tried to comply, much like how TheMotte on Reddit strove to comply with Anti-Evil Operations. This can indeed buy time, but only a finite quantity.

And that's fine, re: your threshold. I support violence before reaching that point, because once things are super terrible it's much harder to fight back.
