To use your post as a stepping stone, an AI App That Lets Users Talk To Historical Figures Slammed For Misrepresenting Hitler, Nazis. I suspect it is due to the inherent tampering with GPT-3 that the historical figures in the app are incapable of actually spouting their true "thoughts" and slogans.

"Some examples of Nazi responses, according to NBC News, include Hitler’s chatbot saying killing Jews during World War II “was a terrible mistake.” No historical evidence exists that Hitler made such a statement."

I can only laught at that. Of course, one could also say that Hitler now recognizes that maybe the holocaust was one of the factors that contributed to their defeat and thus "was a terrible mistake"; just not due to the reasons one would think.

My humble opinion is that they (the wokies et al) notice, and they will continue and double down and berate you if you point at it at all. They simply don't care if you watch or not, its their vanity project, but that is ok because they are making it better for their people (hint: not you). They are the middle management, the marketing people and the danger hairs with liberal arts degrees.

So far they have been getting their way because they were propped up by pension funds like Black Rock and Vanguard, but now that there have been significant outflows of capital there have been some purges, but it won't be enough. Looking for example at Hollywood, the writers guild's strike looks to have been successful in getting concessions from the studios (chaperoned AI [meaning, AI can only be used by the writers themselves, not the studios to replace writers] and a minimum number of writers in each writer's room of 5 I think).

Battlefields I have seen:

Hollywood
Videogames
Tabletop Games (W40K)
Novels (Nebula award)
Localization of Japanese Entertainment
Gundam Model Kits (This one I think is more a product of the imagination of the antiwoke people, as yuri is an staple of Anime/Manga)

CoC's in Software Dev Projects (This plus the ousting of Linus)
The push for Woke language in programming (example: the Master/slave controversy of a few years)

Marketing in general (Always mixed race or minority pairings, sometimes ads not even related to the product but for the purpose of browbeating their core demographics, the Budlight fiasco, the Gillete ad of "boys will be boys")

The point of it is trying to change the culture from the middle down (remember they are the middle managers and their minions, while some CEO's are probably true believers like the Ice Cream dudes Ben & Jerry, the majority are only looking up to enrich themselves and their cronies like with Bobby Kotick), and if you have any objection it just means you are an enemy and your opinion doesn't matter to them. Just look at the bruhaha that is happening right now with the female Custodes or the Blowback the Lovely Complex Localizer got for giving ammunition to their critics when he went mask off.

For those whose life motto is "The personal is political" I would expect to be in cloud nine. But I think when all is said and done and we are in a Cyberpunk Dystopia (without all the cool shit and a ton more of subscription services) they will be between the first to revolt.

He is a grifter without core principles. Whatever he has to say about anything is worthless. He is Unironicaly Evil

"My rules enforced > your rules enforced fairly > your rules enforced unfairly"

The short and sweet of it is that as any breadtuber out there he uses a bunch of tactics to argue in bad faith in any debate he has with ideological opponents. He constantly tries to dehumanize them when all is said and done and he is "alone" in his stream and his only apparent core principle is winning, expressed in the quote "You call it selling out your principles?, I call it Fucking winning. And that is my principle"

This is one of the reasons why I'm of the opinion that democracy sucks at scale.

I'd categorize everything about it as luxury signaling, and expect it to fold like a cheap tent when faced with any real-world decisions.

that was what it was said about SJW in campuses all around the US.

As I understand this issue and reading between the lines, the real concern is that with an inverse population pyramid the SS scam comes tumbling down, not so much that they become extinct.

Honestly I am tempted to just dismiss the whole thing as banned users of a community airing their grievances.

I honestly don't understand how these commercials could possibly sell product, so I assume they are just pushing the agendas of the ad execs.

"product?"

In the interview, he made threats against President Biden, saying that he had intended to "get to the White House, seize power, and be put in charge of the nation," the documents said.

per the rethoric I see of Jan 6th, I don't see anything unusual about this. Good thing he was stopped before he conquered america for the 3rd Reich Civilization style.

I think the problem is that it was a culture of a kind of hyperactive ‘over-innovation’ with too many projects and too many bets, which meant many things were killed far before their time.

If what I have heard and read about the internal culture of Google in the wake of the Stadia implosion, it is more about beginning projects for career advancement without regard to their long term maintenance and longevity. In that kind of environment, it's no surprise that Google offerings are most likely to die than anything else.

encourage anyone to buy Doritos

"Doritos?"

Yes, but a jury that has seen all the evidence is much more likely to be right than some guy on the internet who hasn't, especially when that person has an obvious bias.

Wasn't part of the controversy the seizing of the phones? Doesn't look like your theory of juries applies to this case at all.

In my corner of the world I see a lot more Women than men wearing masks. And my suspicion is that they do it just to forego Make up for half of their face, instead of for any real concern over Covid.

yours and SSCReader comment above reminds me of the article in the Atlantic arguing that Democrats only need Biden Corporeal presence. I wonder how many election cycles before the inevitable Horse in the Senate.

Then you get the "experts" declaring the next flu season as civilization ending.

"But GW isn't introducing female space marines. So that's a non-issue." is the "it's just a couple of kids in college campuses,..." of tabletop. Anyone paying attention to the hobby culture wars already knows what is the next step, especially after the "Warhammer is for everyone" message.

Most working class people won't go to AA universities, by definition elite unis must only comprise a small proportion of students, and most of those will be middle or upper-middle class

And as more and more racialized politics becomes the mainstream the less there will be any possibility for them to enter. Don't really see how voting for the party that wants them as second class citizens is in their interests.

This wasn't a statement about the advisability of the policy, just pointing out that it shouldn't really govern anyone's voting behavior (on either side as it happens but the discussion here was about working class Republicans)

What issue do you think should be more important to the working class white that would compel them to vote Blue?

A real shame that techdirt succumbed to TDS so hard, before 2016 it was an excellent tech website.

Title: 'Been Here From the Start' song | Horrible Histories: Black British History | CBBC

If nothing else the tune is catchy. At first I thought it was a parody video, but it looks to be a real BBC music video about Black British History.

hence the Quokka meme that is so richly deserved in the rat community.

instead of nosediving it looks more like the polarity was just inverted.

It may be useful to standarize your prompt so that things like grading, grading criteria and scope of the questions are the same across multiple sessions. That will help you detect inconsistencies and mistakes more easily.
