Your example link goes to the "nice hat" reddit post. This has happened to me. You copy paste a reddit image link and somehow it points to "nice hat".
People centuries ago drank and said dirty jokes. They weren't typically flogged for such popular and common behavior. For example the puritans drank a lot by modern standards. Drunkenness was not much respected.

And to a smaller degree Lina Khan going after tech companies. Blocking acquisitions and saying they need to be broken up. Not an idle threat when the head of the FTC keeps taking companies to court over it. Amongst other anti-big-tech Biden administration actions.
Then after the election I'm listening to Pod Save America and they are outraged that these same tech companies give a million dollars to the Trump inauguration or Bezos commands the Washington Post to not endorse Kamala. Not that they love Trump, but in desperation trying to avoid more punishments from Democrats.

My public K-12 education had 0 hours on Hitler. It had no WW2 history at all. We went over Japanese internment quite a bit. But somehow not the theaters of war or Hitler. Which seems like an obvious gap.

After the attempted shaming heaped upon Romney, they'd be wise to harden their hearts and automatically reject all shaming attempts from their left. It is a weapon wielded too much by Democrats in recent years. Time to deny them it.

According to the timing of this article, he moved to the US months or maybe a year before Pinochet was out of power after losing that plebiscite. Something like that. Interesting he got to remain for the following 3 decades even though his excuse was immediately made invalid. Also despite the ban on communists. Rules don't apply to this guy.

This is at least the second time you recently dropped a "3rd rate university" put down against those lowly conservatives. I think our society is far too credentialist and we should not look down on people who go to their state school. Almost no one gets into the purposefully restrictive self-described-"elite" universities. That does not put a stink on the other supermajority who went to regular colleges.
Your "3rd rate university" sneer says much more about you than about a conservative with a degree.

There is another possible framing: many women should reevaluate their standards. The bottom 50% ugly, mean and poor women can settle for someone on their level or choose no one at all.
Like a very poor person saying they would like a car, but insisting on only a brand new Range Rover. They should instead consider options that are attainable given their circumstances.

I saw a /r/combatfootage video in which a Russian wearing a large poncho was blown apart by a drone. The commenters speculated it was meant to make it harder to spot him in IR by spreading out the heat more evenly. But like many Russian soldiers he was wandering around by himself during the day and was clearly visible in regular light.
