If you optimize for what's best for the kid rather than what's convenient for the parents, it's no screens in the same room for young children. I don't think the data on it is incontrovertible, but it is pretty compelling. The AAP recommends absolutely zero screen time under under 2 year olds. I walked the walk on this with my own kids, literally never letting them lay eyes on a turned on screen. I was prepared to let them watch educational-type shows when they turned 2, but looking at their behavior at around 2 years old, I realized I would have to sacrifice some other form of play to make time for it, and it never made sense in terms of what was best for them, so my kids never saw a screen until they entered the public school system.
You draw your line wherever you want, but I would personally be mortified to model playing video games to my kids.

His take is consistent and unrelenting atheism, and he criticizes Christians and Muslims alike, which these days makes him homeless, politically. I've listened to a lot of him and there's a lot of criticism of Islam and Islamic terrorists, I don't remember anything specifically Zionist. Do you have a reference?

I had the same reaction. I thought it was a faked-up overdone reenactment and it was quickly out of my mind. A little later someone pointed out that it was actually a real interview with Holmes (her look has changed a lot), and it instantly turned it into a must watch for me.

Cutting off the bottom 40% of the distribution and then finding that the remaining 60% is average-to-above-average is a thoroughly underwhelming statistical finding. Autists have pretty specific deficits in understanding people, and if that's not measured in IQ, so much the worse for IQ.

In one of his interviews, his primary complaint was that individual lone-wolf acts of violence are not sufficient to stop AI development and would have a tendency to sway public opinion in the opposite direction, as these things do. But his opposition is only because of ineffectiveness. He's very publicly in favor of an international alliance of USA, EU, Russia, and China firebombing rogue data centers.

I would also like to breathe that air. What reason do we have to believe that this is safe given the tremendous record of health disasters that are only recognized decades after the fact? Sounds like a high-risk solution.
