I don't think he was a spokesperson per se, but the report did seem to originate from an Israeli soldier on the ground -- there were pictures of him on Twitter that I saw.

This new man-o-sphere stuff seems quite harmful, not least to the believers -- at least with PUA there was a goal, and a clear (if sleazy) path to that goal. Now it seems to be bitter black pills all the way down, which is mostly just a self reinforcing death spiral.
Many things are accepted as fact that (based on my experience) are just dumb, most obviously around virginity and the attractiveness of women over 30. (aging in general I guess -- many of these guys seem to think that it will be all over for them sexually at 30 as well, which is just.. weird)
I mostly just tune this sort of discussion out by now, as it's useless to argue with insane premises sincerely believed -- although I do try to repeat the helpful advice of 'go to a dive bar and get drunk if you are not getting action with OLD' from time to time, but there are always many reasons why this is not feasible.
I'm sure others feel the same -- so don't get the impression that the Chad-Stacy whining (which I agree with cimrafa is mainly jealousy related) is all that representative of what people think in this space. It's just that there's nothing much there to talk about, and we can't exactly ban that line of discussion, so there's not much to be done.

Well you are wrong -- it's not even referring to Akpu, it's the action taken by Babu.
Consider 'I saw Babu exhorting the irritated Akpu on the virtues of ChatGPT' -- 'irritated' is an adjective referring to Akpu, whereas in "I saw Babu punch Akpu", 'punch' is clearly a verb. Your original sentence is like the latter, not the former.

One can try to pull off the leftist academic(/Red Queen) trick of redefining words to mean what you want them to mean, but I don't think the right has the institutional credibility to make it stick in this case.

It's a bit ridiculous to try changing the subject when called on your own bullshit asked for data to back up your unsourced assertions.
You said that if vaccines caused increased chance of health problems, there would be an obvious correlation -- and asserted that it wasn't there.
When I provided a large survey (in a young and pretty homogeneous population, btw) by a bunch of infectious disease PhDs showing... an obvious correlation between # of vaccine doses and likelihood of contracting coronavirus, instead of re-evaluating your position, you bring up different studies studying different things. (most notably conducted ~2 years ago, against a significantly different variant than the one currently circulating)
Have you considered that your position in this matter may not depend on what's true at all?

Yes, but the Ukrainians don't have to do their own manufacturing and have far more chances for international support and are fighting defensively.
The one thing that the international support does not provide (much) is soldiers -- if morale breaks on either side, this will be a problem. And it's not a uniquely Russian problem.

Thanks for the request for clarification -- in that sentence I was referring to the action of the virus, which does indeed replicate; for the vaccine, the mechanism AIUI would be more like "hijacks the cells which it enters to produce pure, sweet spike protein" (of the Wuhan-Hu-1 variety, plus whichever variant is being targeted in the case of the bivalent boosters)

Am very white, can work up to a tan such that I can indeed spend all day outside without any accessories and not burn. Some SPF-15 for the first couple of weeks and it's all good. I honestly can't imagine living in such fear that one feels one needs a bunch of crap to safely go outside four months of the year.

In bumfuck nowhere, few women are single, but many are available -- there is a knack to picking up the signalling there; not sure it's different in the city or not.
It's this guy -- I can't find the tweet that I was thinking of, nor be arsed to dig through the wayback machine for initial headlines which certainly conveyed the impression that there were many decapitated babies killed in some sort of daycare, with the number forty prominently featured.
Anyways, the soldier talks about plural babies and women decapitated, and the PM's spokesperson also talked about multiple babies and toddlers beheaded at that kibbutz -- so far as I can tell there's zero. So whether the claim is forty or just 'some', it seems to be a lie being promulgated pretty high up in the Israeli government, presumably to gin up support for a brutal response.
